Guild Wars 2

Yeah this screenshot was taken after I finished up Retribution.
So no way to get closer. Too bad.

Ahhh that’s too bad. I really did think to see some wreckage underneath the lower row of ‘ribs’..
But the problem is I just couldn’t get close enough for a decent examination.

It keeps happening.. it’s not normal anymore.

I still get disconnects every day.
It so happens I have had some time off from work the last few weeks and a lot of these disconnects seem to be happening between 10-12 AM Holland time.
I get quite some disconnects in a row.
Of course the first thing I do is blame my own internet connection, but I hardly ever have problems with that knocks on wood
I have restarted my modem, I have closed applications on my computer which I do not need, but still I get disconnects. Even when my connection is ‘Excellent’
It has to be said that I don’t get the password message.

I’ve read all three novels and Sea of Sorrows was definitely my favorite.. and I have always wondered where I could find these.
Well today I reached the Retribution chapter of my personal story and I decided to swim around Claw Island and see if I could find some trace of it.
What I saw here would be my best guess..

Well at least I’m not the only one… been happening to me over the last few months and just now I got dc’ed 5 times in a row.
Extremely annoying and definitely not my internet connection, seeing as it is displayed as Excellent connection and webpages load just fine.
Looking at this thread, I think Anet needs to find a solution.

I completely agree that the Living World updates should focus more on the remaining Elder Dragons and the Tyrian history and lore.
Let’s face it.. Tyria’s history and lore is absolutely brilliant..
Why should we waste time on totally non-important bad guys/girls like Scarlet..
And even though I think the Living World stories are somewhat entertaining, I really don’t care at all if I don’t finish all the achievements which are linked to it..
And that is really bad in my humble opinion.
These Living World updates need to lure me in, they need to make me wanna start up the game..
Give me raw epic awesomeness, which leads to the remaining elder dragons and Tyrian history/lore and I will marry this freaking game and make babies with it!
Throw some Dragon champions at us to show us that Primordus and his homies are not simply chilling somewhere on a Hawaii beach..
Continue our personal stories and give us new reasons to fight, make those personal stories better and blend them together with living world updates much like the creator of this thread has suggested. (Let’s be honest, it’s a fantastic idea)
Right now I am only leveling alts and doing WvW..
Sometimes I even find myself being a part of this horrible Queensdale ‘champ train’.
See what I mean? We need a new fight!
This game is incredibly awesome and it has so much potential to be so much more..
Don’t waste more time on creating Scarlets and unimportant alliances.
We need stories that will lead us to the remaining Dragons.
We’ll battle through dragonspawn, dragon champions and eventually even the elder dragons themselves.
Let us learn more about Tyria and its history in the process..
Please just make it more interesting..

I am looking for a casual guild, who is willing to take me in (perhaps including 2 friends)
I have a normal busy life, a full-time job and a girlfriend who also requires attention (unfortunately, she is not a gamer)
I love this game very much, but playing it alone most of the time is not very challenging.
Seeing as I usually play on weekends (especially Sundays), it’s hard for me to find a guild.
All the guilds I have seen so far ‘require’ you to be online a lot…
To be honest I don’t like that requirement at all.
All I am looking for is a guild who will not start nagging when I am not online every day.

I have a level 80 norn warrior and a level 80 asura necromancer. (currently also leveling a few new ones)
My main interest goes to PvE, but I would also like to experience some PvP from time to time.

Some personal info about me: I am 32 years old, born and raised in Holland and before I bought Guild Wars 2, I played Lineage II for 6 years.

Absalom [ABS] was created not too long ago by two friends.
We have made the change from Lineage II to Guild Wars 2 a few months ago.

When we played Lineage II, we were leading a successful clan, which owned clan halls, castles and participated in many PvP activities.
We fought Raid Bosses and we delivered Olympiad Heroes and we were an excellent ally to some of the biggest clans.
We know how to run a clan and we want to prove that we can run a successful Guild in GW2..

Ever since we’ve joined GW2 we have been gathering influence points as much as we can to build the foundations for this new guild.
Now the time has come to look for people who want to help us with making this guild successful.
