I cannot be absolutely sure if it was just missing event, but I upgraded both of top towers (wood and dawn’s) about same time and supply difference was less than one supply run. One hour after first tower had been upgraded properly, the dawn’s workers were still taking supplies but not actually upgrading the door. Upgrade vendor said it’s been worked on. I’m not entirely sure if the event fired up when I ordered the upgrade, but it never showed up on consecutive visits.
I have heard of this before, but then the doors not getting upgraded was attributed to badly placed siege engine on inside of our walls.
Hint that helped a guildie to overcome this tower in just 8+ hours was to increase FPS by reducing quality. After switching to subsampling and possibly some other minor tweaks, he made to the top in couple of attempts.
So is there a trick to get group of five in there? For example would it help if everyone can be crammed on same overflow? Being on separate overflows apparently doesn’t work.
I personally didn’t like how the FPS seems to drop higher you get. It maked couple of the last jumps way too difficult, and for no apparent reason. Then again I don’t like the general feel of the jumping in GW2. I feel it lacks some serious accuracy in it. Sometimes you jump further and sometimes don’t, sometimes a slope is slippery and sometimes it isn’t. You can’t always tell if a thingy you try to jump on is even solid or if it is blocked by invisible walls. Distance estimation is occasionally hard too, but that could be just me, seeing how I’ve rarely liked a 3D platformer.
Then there is the camera, I don’t know why but it kept jumping in my face at very inappropriate times, with other players around, it’s even harder to see what’s going on.
I did manage to get through it eventually though, and have to say it felt good. If only the engine wasn’t trying to stop you from enjoying these I would be fine. Also thumbs up for making it spacious. Unlike some of the jumping puzzles where you can’t jump due to your head already scraping the roof…

/dance (without those annoying noises. Perhaps even with good looking dance animations, if that’s not too much to ask. Perhaps multiple dances. But I think these will find their way to trading company eventually..)

/charge (this one could have voiceover and animation. Those could get tiresome when overused though… Possible solutions would be timer to limit spamming, or limiting to commanders only.. Latter could even mirror the effect on all in commanders party, to give out the demoralizing effect it is supposed to have :)
My solution, seeing how sometimes the bot army can get quite large and well stacked.
Skill “report bots in this area”: a large ground targeted skill, giving a dialog that has all names withing the area and checkbox “report as bot”. And finally button “Yes I’m aware of consequences of I misuse the feature, and do honestly want these bots reported.”
Or at least their name shown within the reporting function.
Quest cannot be progressed unless player listens to whole first conversation with Malyck. If skipped, Malyck stays out of combat and task where you need to kill all Nightmare Courtiers never finishes.
Quest can be completed normally if player starts the quest again and listens conversation properly. This bug was encountered Ruins of Surmia server.
