ah thank you guys, will do! i definitely need to get the mastery points, i was assuming hot content was a prereq for the new pof content incoming… glad that isnt the case.
I have taken a very long break from gw2 however I have gotten back into it a few months ago. I quit shortly after hot was released so I never completed personal story or the other living world season. It is also extremely confusing to navigate through the new maps because the design and lack of mastery points to reach more hidden areas. If someone has knowledge on where and how to complete as much as I can before the new expansion is released I will tip for the time spent. I would just like for someone who already knows what they are doing to accompany me through as much as possible lol. And it is more tedious completing alone. I have no problem paying for help or per episode completion. Also the many different types of currency that is found in the newer areas are very confusing.
im hearing you but in my experience id rather have the clone availability that DE provides in addition to our weapon and utility skill based clone production. clones get popped way to fast for me to justify not having DE. in other words, im not trying to debate whether DE should be used or shouldn’t. Im just saying that DE was punished inadvertently from this issue of evasion that dodge mechanic provides in a general sense. Also DE is bugged in that it doesn’t always create a clone after dodging while engaged in combat.
With the integration of the new specialization mechanics, the clone production that DE provided in addition with all of our other clone replications were deemed appropriate with the previous rate of endurance regen. Or in other words the rate of clone production from DE was working as intended. The adjustment that was made to the dodge mechanics were not made because of mesmers cranking out clones too fast but rather a new issue or rather a new “perception” of an issue lead to this change.
