Back at launch, ANet stated that the EXP needed to progress through each level only increased by a small amount, but honestly, has that been the game’s undoing?
Personally, I feel like the level cap was too small, plus the fact EXP needed is so little…and that’s been the primary factor as to why people reach level 80 so quickly, regardless of whether they rush there (like a typical WoW-style player would), or take their time (like I did, and reached 80 within a week).
Sure, the game is more about the journey than the endgame like many other MMOs, but the journey is so short! I come back for the monthly events, but as I look back at the game, I think it would have been better if the game had a level 100 cap, while the highest level areas reached 80 or 90. There would be a lot more incentive to explore the map to finish those last 10-20 levels.
Oh and definitely more skills. Unlocking all skills and still having skillpoints to spare before even reaching max level….
BTW, how did GW1 sustain itself with a level cap of 20, and stuck that way even through its expansions?

Hmmm….when did Henge of Denravi lose it’s #1 spot?
You don’t need to be level 80 to experience the game, that isn’t the way it was designed. It was designed that you get to level 80 as you experience the game, so for the people who bum rushed to level 80 thinking that all the good content is at the “end” are now disappointed. The entire game is endgame content, It wasn’t designed to be rushed through, it was designed to be experienced. Sure there aren’t many “level specific” things to be done at level 80, but there is a down leveling system for a reason. If you bum rushed to level 80 without second thought, maybe you should run around the world, explore I’m sure you’ll find something interesting, and if not then you’ve missed the point entirely.
My thoughts exactly. However, I do have to say that there needs to be a much larger variety of skills available. Personally if you can unlock ALL your skills by max level, there’s something wrong…

Despite playing since the first beta weekend, I never really found out what Magic Find was all about, yet I always see items with Magic Find having a much higher value than those with pure damage bonuses. Anyone mind telling me what it does?
I bought one once, which I kind of regret…at least gems were cheaper back then…
ArenaNet really needs to do something about the lower levelled areas. I just made a human character and literally no one is in Queensdale, the Shaemoor region to be more specific…
What score would you give it? I’m curious, mainly because I pretty much didn’t participate in it (got exams to study for)…so I’m wondering whether I missed out on a great deal of fun. I do intend to get those Halloween minis at the very least.
(I didn’t realise the Halloween event sub-forums were closed).
I find it funny that on other forums, people say that WoW’s customer support is the best. Their reasoning? It’s P2P, and they have an “obligation to help you”. Yet shouldn’t all companies aid their customers whenever they need help? I would say though that ANet can be considered one of the leaders in gaming customer support.
Have people tried reverting their drivers?

So, I went and googled issues with the latest Nvidia driver (306.23) to see if that was part of the problem with low FPS and turns out that many were reporting issues with that particular driver (though not everyone).
For those people with low FPS, perhaps you should try this:
-First, manually uninstall PhysX drivers (from the Add or Remove Programs/Programs and Features) since the Nvidia installer doesn’t do it.
-Second, revert back to the last stable driver (301.42) with a CLEAN installation
-Finally, upgrade back to 602.23 (however when upgrading, do a custom installation and do NOT upgrade PhysX, which according to my source seems to be the main issue).
Alternatively, you could just revert to any older driver, not just the stable one.
Not saying this is a solution, just a suggestion…
Credits to….yes, I’m going to get some hate for this, but ironically this came from the WoW forums. However, I’m willing to accept that hate if it means GW2 will play without a huge drops in FPS.

Please tell me if this works for you.
For people with ATI graphics, sorry but I don’t have a suggestion for you guys.

I think 4, one for each of the Elder Dragons (Zhaitan’s covered in the initial release already).
I suspect the expansions will focus on these areas:
1) the reopening of Cantha, since Zhaitan’s ships will no longer be blocking the passage. The dragon here will probably be the only unnamed Elder Dragon.
2) the reopening of Elona, with entrance to the Crystal Desert as well. The dragon here will be Kralkatorrik.
3) expansion into the Far Shiverpeaks, the reclaiming of the Norn’s ancestral homelands. The ddragon here will be Jormag.
4) expansion into the underground and the fate of the dwarves. The dragon here will be Primordus.
Probably at least 1 class for each expansion, maybe 2. Maybe even new races…
What do you guys think?
Some of them are missing…
Sometimes I find really great sceneries that I want to take screenshots of, but my character blocks the view…these views aren’t always available from vistas, so if possible, could a first person mode be added?
Maybe they should deem it as an Oceanian server, since the majority of players are all from Oceania…even if the server is based in Texas.

GW2 graphics settings are Medium for pretty much everything.
During gameplay, there are times it’ll run okay, but often, FPS drops significantly, especially in battles or story dialogue, meaning that entire scenes in the storyline are skipped or dragged out very slowly. This definitely did NOT happen prior to the third beta weekend (in fact, prior to that beta, the preset graphics settings were at Very High, not Medium).
