I actually got a bit of a chuckle out of this the first time I tried it lol.

Now regarding the last cloud-buddy that doesn’t work but instead ports you to the checkpoint of doom? Let’s just say I had a vastly different reaction to that :/

That is actually a not so subtle ad for infinite continue coin =p

I would bet on red weapons for trib mode, and underwater weapons for baubles. But armor would definitely be nice.

I’m not entirely sure what jump you’re having difficulty with, but there is one really tricky trampoline jump after the bugged checkpoint that gave me plenty of headaches. You basically have to make a diagonal jump to a pillar that would normally be out of reach.

I don’t use the dodge jump, cause I have never been able to pull it off. Instead, I bounce on the trampoline, and as I fall back down I push forward and land just on the edge of it. This launches me forward just far enough to barely land on the edge of the pillar.

Of course, there’s more fiendish traps up ahead, plus a bugged checkpoint-cloud. So expect to do this tricky jump several more times.

Thats how I do it. Didn’t notice the bugged cloud first time I got there, Luck run I guess. But it’s really lame. ANet trolling device, maybe? I really felt safe after that cloud, sooo many cheap traps on those pillars =P

then you try trib mode… and a wild trib cloud in the one place where there werent any enemies! pure frustration and useless deaths. at least you can skip the gong tower.

Wait – you can skip the gong tower in trib (or normal) mode?

How can you skip this piece of kitten in trib mode? It’s just plain boring to do it after first time. Normal mode I just get the eagle shortcut, doing daily for skins (less than 30 minutes for the 2 worlds anyway).

Latency makes it really hard. I just gave up trying to do w1-2 today. For some reason I’m with 8 secs latency.

Just wait for your latency get back to normal.

I just had to share this with someone. I manage to get world 1-1 trib mode done under 7 mins with 8 secs latency! It was an almost perfect run =]

I know world 1-1 is lame, but I didn’t got this feeling of “achievement” even when I did world 2-2 trib mode (no world 2-3 yet, real life keeps getting in the way lol).

Now, lets give a try to world 1-2. Just when I thought I had it as farming content, new challenges arise! Amazing. Have to send a christmas card to my ISP.

Well, did Kiel tier 4 solo. Thanks for whoever gave the water tip. It really helps.

Guardian, hammer to knock back the mortars, scepter/torch to burn down the plunderers. Full zerk, traits to support scepter/torch and dps in general.

Thing is… I realize this is not about dps. Its about how luck you are with the right side spawn point. After a couple tries for gnash tier 4, I decided to take a brake and try again only in a couple of days. This thing is not fun when all you can do is try to avoid being stunlocked while you struggle to kill the plunderers spawning only on the right side.

Back to levelling, hope to get my warrior to 80 soon =]

(on the other hand, maybe I will try to get this done with that warrior upscaled. if that works, I guess it will be clear this thing is just rng with little to none skill involved =] )

Advices for a guardian? Will try to solo tomorrow.

Looks like its best to go full zerker with skills like Binding Blade… But what do you think?
