I too have the looping ambient audio from Lions Arch. It gets quite irritating.
1. Slide your “Master Volume” all the way to the left (off.)
2. Slide the “Sound Quality” back and forth, then back to what you had it set to.
3. Slide your “Master Volume” back to what you want it at.
This fixes the audio loop but does not stop it from happening again. This is a crappy fix though, ANet should look into this and patch it.
Lets change the game for everyone’s phobias! Yay!
I agree. /Signed
This would be awesome for dungeons if they added in all new armor sets specifically for hard modes.
Well if they feel they have to do that then they aren’t very casual, huh? Lol.
Well the extra bonus would only be given once per day on the daily dungeon, not every single run.
No, I mean that one specific dungeon per day should give you a bigger reward at the end. Example, say a boss chest or something. Everyday this dungeon would be a different one, so that all dungeons would be more active.
GW2 should have some sort of daily dungeon every day. It would give a bigger reward for doing said dungeon and the dungeon changes every day, thus keeping all the dungeons active. Easy peasy.
Guild Management Tools
I also second the notion of better tools for guild management. Last time since online is a given for any MMO. Mass mail would also be handy. More symbols for ranks would be great too. Also, having “able to invite” and “admin lower ranks” in one checkbox is highly irritating.
So, having to go through each member and individually mail them is stupid. It would not be SO terrible if I did not keep getting “Excessive Messaging” every two mails I send. Can yall fix this please? At least let Guild Leaders be able to mail members without “Excessive Messaging”
Since the Southsun patch every now and then I am unable to whisper people. If I click their portrait and click whisper nothing happens. Anywhere from five to twenty minutes after I try to send them something, my game decides to open up a whisper with them. If I try to send them a whisper during the time that I can not whisper people nothing will happen, then after the five to twenty minute period, my game will send all the messages that I tried to send to them. During this time if someone messages me I am able to message them back. I have looked this problem up on Google and it seems there is no ANet response to any of these problems. I would like to know if there is a fix for this. Restarting my client is not a fix, it is a workaround and I am personally tired of restarting my client three to four times per session.
I am also having this problem. Why is there no dev response?
Its a bug, lots of people are having this problem, yet there are no dev responses on any of the threads like this.
Same issue. Why is there no dev responses to any threads like these?
I am having the same problem. Restarting the client is a lame excuse for a fix.
Link the Day/Night cycle to the servertime.
The “chiming” noise that the 8-bit weapons constantly make when in combat. Can we get rid of that? I am seriously considering banking my 8-bit greatsword due to this annoying noise.
Phantasmal Berserker*
How about this, push guests into the overflow to make room for home players.
This has been a problem since release for me, thought it was just a bug. I guess not. The option for “time since last logon” is not shown for me in the guild roster column cog. Is this a bug? Surely a MMO developer would not forget to add this feature. Right? Even so, hasn’t Guild Wars 2 had two or three big updates? Am I the only one missing this cog option?
I am also having this problem. Started happening to me last patch.
I am not a huge fan of everyone phasing in and out on simple things such as waiting for a dragon. Please make culling an option. Just a little checkbox. So I can uncheck it. That is all.
I apologize for the lack of the updates on this issue; I can assure you all that we are still working on this. We attempted a potential fix with the last patch, but after checking the crash reports, it looks like it didn’t solve the problem. While we will be continuing to work on a solution, you may encounter this less frequently in the meantime if you lower your sound quality.
Thank you for your continued patience while we work on this bug.
So I have to lower my game quality/experience until this is fixed. This problem has been here since release.
Get rid of it. It is annoying.
Email authentication? Mandatory password changes? Seriously, just start pumping out authenticators. Who cares if BioWare and Blizzard use them.
Frankly, the option should be there. If players can’t figure out basic UI management, that’s kind of on them. Omitting features for the sake of idiot-proofing is essentially throwing out baby with the bathwater.
I second this. Why must we be babied because some people would get lost? Know what those people could do? Ask other players. Isn’t this game about the community? I have had a few questions answered simply by map chat. The feature should be there, hands down.
I second this. Nameplates on character and inspection.
I am with everyone else. I rarely do the daily. Don’t really care to. Now I am stuck looking at this clutter on my screen. On top of the story quest. On top of the irritating black scratches on the edge of my screen.
Funny, I have had this problem since BLTC was implemented. I have seen multiple posts about this problem and ANet never responds to them. Its sad actually, I am holding out for the big Jan-Feb patch. If that does not fix it I will probably just quit the game. Logging out and back in is getting old and tiresome. Lets make an in game browser AH with no refresh button. Seems legit.
How about we get about two or three bosses like Lupicus per dungeon path? Maybe not as long, but just as fun, intricate and exciting? Am I the only one who feels this game has too many “tank and spank” bosses? Is something not wrong if players are constantly trying to find new ways to shortcut, skip and glitch parts of dungeons? Do dungeons really have to be 3+ hours long?
Six days ago and no reply?
Why has this not been implemented?
My trading post goes blank constantly. Sometimes logging out and back in will fix it. Sometimes it wont. I have cleared the GW2 temp folder and this has not fixed the problem. Great idea, if you are going to make a system that relies on an in-game browser, add a refresh/reconnect button. At least until the problem is fixed. Seems like the quickest solution that does not involve people having to log out and back in.
Why has a ANet dev not responded to this yet?
I have had this happen to me since release. Still not fixed.
