Is there any real reason other than lore?
I made a decision 400+ days ago to make a Human Warrior, and now that I’m revisiting the class I am wishing I were a different race… why can’t ANet make these decisions easier for us than releveling/reranking?
Don’t know how to edit, but I understand what you were saying, and that makes sense… although it’s frustrating as hell!
@Healix: The puzzle doesn’t have any drops that should register fall damage, though. It’s confounding.
Most likely lag.
What you see in your system and what happens in the servers are to different things.
If you get a lag spike, you may stop while your character still walks to its death on the server.
Second video? With the 1.5k+ damage spikes every second?
Why am I constantly being sent back to spawn for no reason? Either it happens via a completely random respawn, or I’ll take 3000+ damage in a second and it’ll spike me down. Videos are coming.

Success, pals. : )
You bought soulbound items (it says in the description that it’s soulbound) and it warns you when equipping the first time, and now, after the purchase, you don’t want it to be soulbound.
Cool story, join the line.
Just posting my opinion about a discouraging micro-transaction mechanic. I would be much more inclined to purchase items of convenience if I didn’t fear buyer’s remorse in the future.
Bad deal, I guess. I won’t be spending another dollar on Soulbound gear, that’s for sure.
Long story short, I purchased the Bonepick and the Jack-in-the-Box gathering tools, and soulbound them to my Elementalist.
Now I have become curious about the gameplay style of the Guardian, and have become disinterested in my Elementalist. However, I am opposed to starting a new character because I feel buyer’s remorse for spending $20 on a character I am no longer interested in playing. Does anyone else feel this way? Any suggestions for getting over the feeling?
I don’t believe that such expensive and low-impact tools should be soul bound, only account bound.
