I also agree. I have a lvl 80 human guardian with maxed out Cooking and full exotic armor, weapons and jewelry. I really don’t like the standard issue looking human now after i see all the other races running about. I also have a lvl 80 norn warrior who im tired of because hes so tall and odd, but i do not wish to remake him because i have maxed out Armorsmithing and Weaponsmithing and a 10g recipe for legendary. I would imagine it would take quite some time and work to implement race changes due to the skills and personal story, but i’m quite sure that there are many people like myself who are willing to pay for it. It would honestly keep me involved more in the game because i don’t like playing these two characters much now and i really dont want to remake them because i have 300hrs on each of them at least. Please consider the pro’s of adding race changes if not already.

So I’ve noticed Anet, doesn’t promote farming, which isn’t a big problem, because people will always find a way to farm. What bothers me is my drop rates have been absolutely horrible the past few days even with full MF gear. It makes me wonder how I see people with a lot less or no magic find at all, getting rares and exotics from drops or chests while I’m barely getting blues. I’ve really noticed a lack of drops and a lack of quality of my drops the past week or two. Before the Cursed Shore Plinx Event was changed, It seemed I would be able to reset my drop rates by doing WvW for an hour or so (no idea if it actually worked, but it seemed like it did on ocassion). I even went just killing aimlessly around the world here and there noticing, I was barely getting any drops and more than 60% of them were grey items and the other 40 were a mix of blues, greens and a rare every few hours. I used to be able to get a lot more than that. So bottom line is, does MF really actually help? Because I honestly can’t tell anymore. Please if someone could shed some light on this and also Is there a way to reset my drop rate so I can actually get drops?

Yeah it would be cool, but I’d much rather have my Incinerator.

Edit: I’m sure they know the prices of each precursor, why even put such an item in there when one could easily afford one? I’m probably just being whiney :s

heard Arena Net wanted to “fix” the Black Lion Trading company and make precursor’s drop in price so people stop controlling the market. Although this was a good strategy, It did not end well. I myself only was able to complete the event once and I got a depressing item. I got the Spear precursor, I saw it and was thinking, sweet I can sell it to possibly get my Spark. Then I find out its only worth about 7g – This has got to be the ultimate troll by Arena Net or something. I mean who the heck even wants a legendary underwater weapon? It’s rediculous how myself and others I’ve met get precursors that aren’t worth anything while others get 2-4+ precursors and sell them and make hundreds of gold. I’ve got 900+hrs invested into this game so far, I feel stabbed in the back by Arena Net and honestly I’m not interested in playing much more after this event and to top it off I was finishing my second run and the event ends, while others exploited the Overflow. I’m probably going to be called the biggest complainer in the world, but I’m just getting my point across here. If Arena Net will please the fools on the forums about nerfing Thieves and other classes, why wouldn’t they understand this? My suggestion is to fix the market would be to do another event repeating itself for a day or something of the sort. Anyway I’ll end my complaining here.

I couldn’t find a post on the forums about race changes, so I decided to make one myself and address my question directly. Hopefully an employee will be able to shed some light upon this topic. I’ve been wondering if Arena Net has or would consider allowing players to purchase the option to change their character’s race. My personal dilemma is my first 80 was my Norn Warrior, but I’ve come to realise how awkward he is and I’ve been desiring to change him to a Charr, because in my opinion Norn are very odd looking and misproportioned. The sad part is he already has 400 WS and AS and a 10g recipe Gift of Metal, I would like to recreate him as a Charr, but i don’t want to waste the 10g+ I already did on the recipe and professions. So I guess my main question is do I wait for Arena Net to release Race Changes or do I cut my losses and remake him?

To add onto this list I would suggest giving the ranger the ability to wield a gun and or pistols and give the engineer the ability to use a bow. For the legendary bows everyone I know does not like them because they aren’t very aggressive and seem very childish :P, perhaps a change is in order for the legendary “Pony” Bow

I agree mostly with this person. Some of my suggestions would be to add
Race Change
Re-adjust the Diminishing Returns (promote farming because its why I play MMo’s) :c
Better drop rates
Re-adjust the Magic Find
Sailing Ship Guild Halls
More Lvl 80 zones
Champion and Veteran mobs drop nothing but greens+
Race Change re-emphasized (I am willing to pay for these)
More skins for Greatswords, Axes, Swords, Maces, Warhorns, Staves, Hammers.
