I agree with Pyrial. I don’t seem to notice an increase or decrease in sPvP of mesmers, however if this nerf went too far like you suggest, we would see a slight buff in the next few days so keep calm and work around the “nerf,” mesmers are far from un-playable.
1) OP is clearly butthurt thief who needs unfair advantage to win PvP
2) I really do not blame ArenaNet for “giving in to the kids” like you say WoW has. I’m no ArenaNet fanboy, I actually hate them, but I do not blame them for changing their game in favor of the majority of their players. You think they care if 1 person QQs if they’re satisfying the requests of much more?
It happened to me every time as well, and has happened less and less often. I’m guessing it has to do with either those traits being slightly adjusted or ArenaNet’s end of how traits are saved for PvP. Nothing you can do about it, just get in the habit of at least checking them when you get on. Do not rely on them being there.
The problem with tPvP is I cannot queue with just me or a group of two. You need five to join and finding your five depends heavily on your server. I have a hard time finding a team needing one or two. Those groups tend to be looking for a specific profession.
1) 5v5
2) Keep teammates for each map
3) Points awarded after all four maps
4) Entering queue with party puts them on your team
You should queue up to form a 5v5 where you play all four maps with your team. 8v8 removes strategy and PvP becomes a numbers game.
Teams do not change. I hate that you get a random team, get used to playing with them for a few minutes, and then next round they are on the opposing team. Teams are more likely to work better as a team on games three and four because they have been communicating and know their teammates play-style.
To keep players from leaving before all four rounds are completed, do not give them their glory/rank until the four rounds are over. Worse case scenario, someone doesn’t care and leaves anyway? Well then it’s 4v5, something that happens quite often the way it’s currently set up.
I want to team with my friends! With my guildies! Currently we have to join the same room and even then half of us will be fighting the other half. I don’t want to do a tournament to mess around with different builds and practice together.
Also for those who don’t want the serious, play all four maps strictness, there should be create custom game room options.
These suggestions aren’t inspired by League of Legends, they are what’s wrong with guild wars 2 pvp that LoL happens to counter and it works quite well for them.
is garen actually ^^
What about our downed states? I’ve learned the elementalist’s down state can’t say thief’s or mesmer’s is balanced.
