Decided to give path 2 a try after path 1 went well. and so Alpha we meet again, this time with ridiculous aoe that simply kills anyone within 2 or 3 shots one doesn’t dodge well. first fight was okay given the area was nice and big.
Another Alpha fight in that narrow rectangle room. the AOEs kills downed player for free, the crystals are too strong because 1) they don’t decay over time 2) unless you ahve the whole party pelting on it, the guy would probably be trapped inside for the full duration or till death. and the rest of the party are busy dodging more AOEs.
Charging the Door Busting Laser was nice, not as hectic as the hacking one, but the champion Abomination has too much hp imo, and it doesnt’ really do much. the player who had aggro simply had to run around in circles while the ranged people auto attacked.
Evovled Husk was fun, but there needs to be something to hunt at players what to do. the NPC doesn’t say anything.
The last Alpha fight…. it bugged out for us when we tried to kite it into the Evovled Husk room. and it refused to reset even when all of us died and rezzed at the first wp. it’s hp would keep regenerating, and we only debugged it by doing random things. and Then because it would bug when kited outside, we tried fighting it inside.
The room was a bit too small to avoid all those aoe perfectly, being trapped in the crystal is as good as a instant death, and he has too much hp, really. there needs to be less aoe spamming, more of him doing the summon Alpha Essence to try and heal himself at intervals, then maybe doing both at the same time when he’s at like 5% hp or something.
TL:DR
- fix Last Alpha boss fight bugging into auto regenerating to full hp when kited out.
- Reduce hp/armor please
- Reduce rate of AOE spamming, or at least reduce the damage done to downed players.
- Reduce hp of the first champion icebrood hound(?) which is just auto attack afk
- Hint at players what to do during Evolved Husk fight.
