We went through stage 1 (no adds) and stage 2 (0hp seal not getting destroyed) as well, but when we reset again, we managed to AoE the seal, thus finishing the fractal.

Don’t know what they “fixed”.

Anet, I’ve payed the same amount of money for the game (well, more actually, because I’m in EU region technically) as everybody else, yet I was not given a chance to participate in the final event because it had started at 4am local time and finished long time before I got up.

Can you repeat the event? Do you know what differentiates MMO from a single-player game? Do you know there are people outside the US? Do you have any sane designers and/or executives? Do you care about your customers at all? Are you ashamed of the garbage you’ve produced?

Code your kitteno everyone can participate.

Thanks for working at an attempt to fix it, I know its not easy working on this stuff and you guys at A-net can only prepare for so much. Other companies(Blizzard, ect) would also have glitches like this when they release expanding content and when they do have glitches, instead of doing what A-net is doing(keeping the server up and trying to fix the server with the server up), the other companies would of just taken their server down until they are satisfied with their attempt at fixing it.

Other companies do PTRs, closed tests and have sane testers to prevent really progress breaking bugs like Noll. Not some “fire-and-forget” style of patching.

Why don’t you guys just delay the lost shores events till next weekend and get the thing working correctly. Give everyone another shot at doing things in order.

It’s not a big deal that we need to wait but it’s kinda lame that we can’t play it as intended.

Knowing them I say it’ll still be bugged beyond any expectations.

I will not be surprised if my friend decides not to stay in GW2.

Noll is broken on Seafarer’s Rest as well. I suggest you start doing PTR thing before releasing new content updates.

The main issue with them not giving detailed info on the upcoming changes is that they won’t get any feedback beforehand.
Imagine they said last week that they were going to buff underwater damage. What would they receive – yes, feedback, that instead of fixing what is not broken, they should deal with pets instead.
They’re introducing changes, yes – but that’s not the changes people need really. So they’re wasting those poor 2 guys time on irrelevant garbage instead of fixing real problems.

Anet seems to hate rangers for some reason.
I wish there was a warning screen when you select a ranger class on character creation that “Rangers will never be fixed; their pets are absolutely useless and can only unnecessarily extend your agro radius, so you can get killed faster; their utility skills are a joke most of the time; they will never be able to deal with lvl 1 thieves”.

As a single-character kind of player, I’m now disappointed I’ve invested over 400 hours into a class that will always be weak and broken.

Server: Far Shiverpeaks

The chests have not spawned for a few hours now (maybe longer). And yes, I’m sitting next to the spawning point of one of them.

Forsaken Fortune mini dungeon is bugged. The friendly NPC is dead and can’t be ressed. The boss can’t be damaged even if all of the braziers are up.

Can we get that fixed during the next update? Or can you at least restart the server to remove stuck events?

Shorten WvW rotations

Problem: WvW dies off after 3 days after the rotation day.

Observations:
- The leading server becomes obvious on the 3rd day most of the time;
- If you play for a leading server, you’ll notice that after 3 days the opposing servers will have very weak resistance, if any, thus people get bored and gradually stop playing;
- If you play for a server that gets stomped, after 3 days it’s clear that you won’t win this rotation under any conditions, so people stop playing WvW;
- In the last few days of the rotation there are significantly less queues, because people are too bored to keep playing.

Solution: Make rotations more frequent. 3 days per rotation instead of 7 days. That’ll make WvW more action packed.

Ok, here’s the thing.

Our server has been leading from the very beginning of the current rotation – we have 3 (or rarely 2) orbs all the time, pimped out SM and 2/3rds of all the stuff.

I’ve been playing WvW for the last few hours at EB and when I joined our team was nicely stomping everything all around. A couple of hours later our attacks become very rare and we moved into defensive mode. My thought was that there were no commanders online, so maybe people are a bit lost.

Then Klovan got under a really heavy and organized attack. We were holding it, literally yelling at chat to come help us. We lost/taken back Klovan and Golanta a few times, but every time we had fever and fever people, even though the attacks were as heavy as before. There were only 20 or so people trying to defend it.

I’ve decided to check where the rest of our guys are and started porting/running around, but there was nobody at all. Empty SM, empty keep and even empty spawning camp (which is a rare thing to see). But when I tried going to the jumping puzzle the game hanged and eventually stopped responding.

Call me paranoid, but I think that our rival server got tired of being capped and transferred a bunch of people to queue for WvW EB, go to the jumping puzzle and do nothing.

Anet people, if this is true, it needs to be investigated now. And please make a fix to stop recently transferred people from joining WvW until the next rotation.

Change how Commander Works

Saw this one on reddit.

I support the idea to bind obtaining of Commander status to personal WvW progress.

I’ve seen several commanders who didn’t understand what they were doing while leading a bunch of people into a “slaughterhouse” set by their opponents. They were clearly playing the first time or just generally mentally challenged.

On a side note, I would suggest introducing Lieutenants. Commanders should be able to assign that role to 2-3 people so they can lead smaller squads to conquer smaller targets like camps or sentries. Their map icons will be smaller and of a different color.

Ok, OP seems to be trolling or something.
He says that he likes to meet new people and suggests that the others, who don’t want to do the same for various reasons should not have a tool to gather a party quickly.
OP, if you don’t want to use tools like Dungeon Finder – nobody forces you to, so don’t force the others to live in medieval age.
People are tired of spending hours – literally – spamming LFG/LFM in chat trying to gather a party. They spend more time finding somebody to play a dungeon with, than playing the dungeon itself.

Anet, we need some way to find people for dungeons.

Pets Transmutation

My character is a Ranger and after a while I found a good combination of two pets I use for pretty much everything. They’re nice and do their job well, but sometimes I feel that I’m sacrificing my preferences to get a better efficiency.

I know this may sound a bit wild, but what if we could use transmutation stones on pets, merging the looks of one with the skills of another?

Yes, a raven spitting out poisonous devourer’s spikes at an enemy looks dodgy, but I’m sure some people will be able to accept that if they really want their pet to look like a raven.

So, what do you think?

Collectible Dressroom

This is exactly what I was thinking of. As a bonus the Dressroom will give another reason to get karma – to buy all those nice looking cultural weapons and armor and store their appearances.

You could also add an ability to dye those appearances in the Dressroom to see how they will look before applying them.
