may be legit but then again i dont think so but just incase have gone in via arena net site and changed my password not followed the links

I have played the other games with a ptr and they dont make the game any better at all many of the so called testers are only on it to see new areas and find exploits they then do not report. Im not saying everyone who plays ptr`s does this as i know for a fact they dont but a lot do which is shame and you still get bugs in the main games.

Actually, he might have meant that in a different way than you expected. Once you level a character to 80, try going back to a zone where it levels you down to about 35. You’re going to do MUCH better than you would have done when you were actually 35. You’re going to blow things away compared to others who are actually 35 in the zone.

Also, dungeons are VERY hard. I did AC with a group of 4 level 80s, and one character in the upper 50s… and we died lots. We had all agreed that we would not have had a chance if we were all actually 35. So as long as dungeons remain the way they are now… and the level scaling continues to work the way it does… I won’t run any dungeons on any of my characters until they hit 80.

So I think that’s what he meant. I don’t think he meant that level 80s are better “players”, but that they are much more powerful when compared to lower level players… even though they are “leveled down” to the same level.

I will have to say we are a small guild on whiteside ridgeserver and tried AC exp mode when we were in our 50s and basicaaly got our kitten handed to us.

It isnt really about the level you are it is the skills you have as when you get to 80 you can bring all your skills to the grp as they dont go away when you get deleveled i would think in all honesty that is why they only wanted level 80s for the run.

We now as a guild run AC exp and are now working on the other but even then we only take level 80 chars to exp mode instances. Hope that helps the OP a little and explains it for them.

i personally do not think class change should be inplimented at all sorry but no one should get a lvl 80 right of the bat.

When you think about it in reality you class change get all the new skill but you learn a class while levleing not at full level.

Personally i started a ranger got it to level 80 and then did a engineer from the start cause i i wanted a change hence why you have extra char slots.

Sorry if you dont like my thoughts on the subject but it is how i feel.

i have been playing since about a week after launch got 2 lvl 80s and still enjoying them and finding new stuff almost every day

im not sure if it a troll either but take a good look at the whales they are not dead just beached and i also found a water bucket next to one last night just as happens in real life when a whale beaches itself !

Lets all be honest no matter what game you play or what company are running it they have the same issues.

Having played the blizzard game i know for a fact they still have major bot issues and ingame gold selling it has been since it started. And as for rift they have the same issues to this day.

We all know that yes the majority of gold sellers etc do come from china or that area and even trying to stop them by geo locking them out of the game wont help as they will find a way around that.

This is not game company related it the players who buy the services from these people that are the issue, me personally i feel they should be banned when found just the same as the bot or gold seller and let them cry after if the proof is there then let them try and sue they would lose.

As for the racist issue i have not seen it in game yet but would not hesitate to report anyone for racist remarks names etc as this is not needed in this day and age.

lets be honest you cannot compare this game to the other one as they are yes both MMOs but are on a totally different tact from each other.

Having played both (the other one since vanilla) i prefer this one hands down it used to be a great game but they made the game far too easy from vanilla when the game was at it best in my honest opinion.

This game is still in its infancy and it will grow as did the first one which was a breath of fresh air to me when i tried it out.

If you dont like the waypoint system do what i do often run maps and disacover everything in game i am still finding out new things and new sights day after day.

i know the one you are on about and once you complete it once it is re4ally easy. Saying that it took me 3 days of trying to complete it but i got there, Since then took a second char through and did it forst time as i knew what was required.

im 52 and love the game and am an avid gamer played way too many over the years lol
