I miss the feel The Deep and Urgoz Warren had in GW1. I was just thinking how neat it would be to have a dungeon that puts a constant debuff on you until you down the boss of the section. I would be especially excited to see a dungeon like this that specifically murders the META groups that just copy and paste everything they see online to farm this game of any fun for casual player or players that don’t want to be limited to 3 classes just to shave off 2 minutes a run.
This doesn’t sound like someone extremely bitter about people who they don’t even play with and wants to offer a terrible suggestion to punish them for no logical reason.

Constant downstate is constant very sloppy game play. I don’t know if there was ever a pull that wasn’t corner camping. Standard champs where constantly downing players although the coordinated “Pre heating might was really impressive, lulz”. Oh and great job on keeping those reflects up. With the 3 guard two warrior groups meta is evolving well I see.
Please adjust difficulty open world is a joke. If scaling is bad for lower people because of stats adjustment let them stay in the 1-15 zones longer. No reason to ruin the open world for the others. Some of us enjoy playing in the open world without one shot everything. It was fun being able to play in all zones and have a risk of death. Now it is just a loot fun house, which happens to not be fun. More challenge less fluff less Pinyata Wars 2. Also most the exploration happens after 80.
There was no reason to nerf dungeons this badly. There is hardly any difficult PVE content, and now lower level dungeons are a complete joke. 20-30 second Kohler fight. Can we either get level 80 versions of these dungeons? Or get some new dungeons that have difficult boss mechanics.
I think that with the success of games like “Dark Souls” you would see that there is the market for difficult content.

Sure I think we can record that for you sometime. I think you guys don’t understand what (lite skip, no man left behind is.) So we may actually have you beat on a lot of your “SPEED RUNS”. We actually had a bunch of new recruits come in yesterday. Non of them have obviously posted on the forums since they actually play the game. Instead of making comments like “LULZ ArahP4 Nubz. how you gunna do it” so if we could stop that and keep it clean would be great.

that is fine have low trash. but this game shouldn’t be called, GW2 leap frog edition. Either have boss enough after boss encounter. OR hey remember ORR lets add pull mechanics into the dungeons… BTW the skipping mentaltiy only devides the community. This game has done so many things right I don’t understand how they got dungeon mechanics so wrong.
A-Net has decided that dungeons should be a joke that anyone can do with ease. This made it so everyone has FULL exotic gear even players who hardly learned to play there classes. BUY running passed a large majority of content this has allowed players to receive tokens far too quickly. People who are here to actually enjoy the challenge are left to try and find a few people to play with. As people who don’t skip are kicked from groups and or shunned. This could easily be fixed by making it so dungeon mobs to not deagro and or have a pulling mechanic similar to the enemies in Orr.
The drop rates where redic before. I am glad the items that I do get are worth something now. This also stops the grind. as there is not point in grinding. Just play the game and over time with no effort you collect the matts, or exchange them for what you want.
Good post, might have been covered before well thought out. I would like to add that thief’s are great at rescuing downed players with there 2 different utility stealth mechanics as well as, group re gen if your stealth ed by the thief.
Part of the group that is tired of these lame tactics that take 3x as long if you fail to pull them off and ya. and when stuff gets bad these types of players cant hack it.
Uhh i only Melee, you need to practice it for sure and you will sometimes go down, but the downed mechanic is part of the game. You also need to build for some interrupts and evade spells, Depending on weapon and boss.
Fracs are good dungeons… They need to use this model for all dungeons when they rework them. Maybe have level ranges 1-5-, 5-10 and so on, Also don’t have selectable paths. Have random ones selected for you. + LFG should have never been left out of the game.
I am starting a legit dungeon clearing guild. Anyone who is sick of skipping content and sick of running past mobs should join up with like minded people. We are about doing boss fights as intended no exploits. Send tell me a tell in game for a guild invite.

Finally someone else.. I am really sick of the non-skilled players running through. Make is so mobs don’t deagro and problem will be solved also locked/closed doors. I think ANET maybe working on this especially with the new dungeon design.
Spent the weekend using windows voice tech while playing GW2. This is good for people with carp tunnel or other problems. It is also just kind of fun to play with even if your a good gamer. You can play nearly hands free and do a lot of the things.
There are no scripts, these are all just single keys being inputted by voice commands.
I had fun so check it out. Also A-Net if this could be considered cheating please let me know ASAP. This is just using the windows voice commands
Windows speech recognition which is build in past vista. Then there is another one that you have to download from Microsoft called Windows speech recogntion macros. You then can tell it that when i say “heal” it outputs a key."
-WOW THIS is really great. People with handicaps could play the game using these voice commands. While not to the full extent of mouse and keyboard, but you could still do it.
Rofl I just tested it out. Didn’t want to do it too much since i have far to much time invested in the game to get banned over something like this. But I see that combat mod is allowed, so I don’t know why something like this would not. Saying “steal” “heal” “vanish” was pretty fun though.
I just started using windows voice activation software in conjunction with a controller, to issue commands such as “heal” and “loot.” This is simply using your voice to input a key and is not using scripts. By saying “heal” or “talk to” the computer thinks i am pressing w, which is my heal button or my interact button. Will this be detected as a cheat A NET?
Yes …. the nerf was totally a bad thing. It was actually challenging before. Now a good group of people can go through a dungeon and only have one or 2 down states… never a wipe..
Dungeons are the “RAID” content. Please learn it they shouldn’t be handing out exotics. Cause once you have all the gear your going to complain about LACK of content.
Please make the game require more group work and make it more beneficial to have more people with you. The high spawn rate makes it so that grouping will be more prevalent in the game as it is in Ore. just my 5 cents.
Have you tried different specs for dunegeons? Tried anything besides Glass cannon builds? WVW is not the place to test out class balance. Maybe the player is more skilled then you? To blame your problems on class balance is a joke. This game is very very balanced. Don’t like a weapon? try a new one? try and new play style? try and new tree? This game is far from broken dungeons are fun and well balanced and well thought out. Stop stacking DPS gear and balance your self out.
