I am unable to understand why my character is having a forced name change? It’s named after a breed of bird, the Knot or Knutt in German. The only way it can be offensive is if you really try to make it offensive, then would the problem not be with my character name but with the person making the complaint about the name.

I mean the actual Start of Heart of Thorns, not the pre event.

So history has shown that Anet only caters to Americans when huge one time events happen, when HoT starts will this happen again? I missed all the previous events as they ONLY occur when my side of the world is asleep. I’m curious to this as I’ve spent quite a bit of money over the years on this game, and also purchased 2 Pre-purchase HoT. That’s AUD$140 each. That’s quite a bit of money for an expansion, so kinda hope the players all over the world get to participate in “One Time Events”.

I been having problems with rewards for a while now, at first I thought it was a cap thing too, but then it started happening right after entering Silverwastes. Mine is related to the side chests you get for events. I randomly don’t get them for event completions, such as Defend the Base, Escort the Packbull, Kill the Veteran.. that kind of thing.

That’s not a bug, they were removed on purpose to stop people taking all the shortcuts to the JP end, same as pretty much all the experimental rifle shortcut jump have been sealed off.

have also just encountered this problem, also the champs chest don’t appear now when you get the power cores.

Windows 8 is not games friendly.

yep, noticed this to, really notice it when signet of the wild isn’t working and your running slow.

logging out does not work, you have to completely close the client to force the TP exe to reload.

You can only get the bonus chest once per day per event account wide, plus you have to be lv40+ to get the bonus chest. The World chest you should still get everytime (though in my experience you get more and more crap stuff the more you do it.) I mainly redo world events if I’m levelling a toon as it gives a decent amount of exp.

I’ve had problems with this one two, so long as you only start the south event it should eventually trigger, though I’ve had to do the 1st champion twice to get it to trigger, sometimes 3 times. you just need patience with this one, it’s a bit like the Hydra Queen event, you have to kill the champ boss like 3 times before they swim off and start the next in the event chain.

Once again the global players of the world have been ignored. I wake up this morning, in Australia, grab a coffee and check Facebook. Right there, posted by Arenanet is the conclusion to the Dragon Bash storyline, I haven’t even had a chance to play the second part, what’s the point now. Why would they do that, they know that people from all over the world play the game, in different time zones. Consistently since buying the game and also buying gems Arenanet has shown a blatant disregard for its global players, only catering to the American portion of their player base, its like they had a meeting and decided “screw it, when have their money, we’ll do what we want.”. Take the Mad King, unless you woke up at some god awfully hour, you missed the LA one time event, take the Karka attacking LA, unless you woke up at some god awful hour, you missed the one time event.

Anyone and Everyone knows, when you start this game, you go online and search for which server is the one that relates to your country, as in Sea Of Sorrows on US server is unofficial Australian server, even Arenanet must know this, and this is what people do.

I love this game, happy to spend money on it, Arenanet is definitely happy to take my money, and money of other players, what I would like to see is Arenanet happily acknowledge it’s global player base and cater to them all, and not just the American portion of the player base. Come on Arenanet, start showing your fans a bit of respect and treat us all with the good stuff, not just the one Country.

Yeah, I just got a couple of these, though the idiots sent it to the wrong email address than the one I use for Guild Wars 2.

Yep, same here, game crashes after entering MobAuth

Well no surprise, again I can’t purchase GEMS, this has gone from being annoying to being a total hinderance. I’ve contacted support who said they passed it to billing or some rubbish like that. The Card I use, as I told them, is a pre-paid card, the only time there is money on it is when I want to use it for something specific, otherwise it’s empty. Having to go through this rubbish EVERYTIME I want to spend money has reached it’s limits. True it’s a free to play game, yet when people choose to spend money (try to) then kitten well let them.

While i do appreciate good security in a game, sometimes there can be too much. Once again I’ve gone to purchase gems, so I have a nice little stock for when the added content patch comes out and once again I get the card denied\failed authorization message. This has become VERY VERY annoying. If you dont’ want players to purchase gems in game then REMOVE the ability to have to fill in all those kitten questions again, and REMOVE the buy button from the store. Having to email support every time I want to spend money in game has become old very very fast. When I decided I want to buy gems, I would like to buy them now, not when support decides to answer my email, and especialy not when i’ve provided the details they request in the original email, only to have a email come in asking me to provide the details I’ve already provided.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do something about this.
