In GW1 there were some holiday titles (so like achievements) which were IMPOSSIBLE to complete in one year even if you would play 24 hours while the event was live. I was fine with that. And so I am fine with what they offer now. If you cant grind it now, you can return next year and finish the job. Its not like this thing will be gone forever.

If you have a source on that, I’d be fine with it. But don’t just assume things and call other people entitled who assume otherwise.

Played GW1 for eight years.

Fact: Some Holiday titles took a minimum of 3 years to complete unless you played 12+ hour days, simply factored by respawn times

Observation: GW2 players are deeply entitled and want everything for either no effort or no risk.

Games should evolve, failing to do so in this day & age is suicide

Just thought I’d give holographic minions another chance. Ported out to a random zone (Diessa, cost a few silver). Saw one on the map, ported to it (another silver). Ran most of the way there. As I arrive the node disappears as someone else killed it.

Yay, I spent five silver for absolutely nothing! Time to port and try again.

Lastly, whoever spread the rumour before the event that Jade Weapon Tickets had a more reasonable drop chance than previous weapon tickets must have been crazy. None from over 300 coffers now (mercifully not rich coffers, but still!).

Personally I have my hopes penned first on EQnext (because planetside 2 is my favourite mmo of all time) and then wildstar after that.

ESO wasn’t impressive… wasn’t horrible like neverwinter but it wasn’t impressive.

I can see ESO flopping (Not that i wanted it too) especially seeing as it’ll be a subscription based mmo…

Grinding it is stupidly easy. Just go to a starting area and one shot all the mobs.

Yeah of course, at ~240 taffy an hour i was getting that’s only 18.9 solid days of grinding! genius!

You hit the nail on the head, grind fest or be rich and spend the hundreds possible 1000+ gold buying them from the TP.

Is this for sure? I mean if you need 100k… there should be other ways to get them and stuff you can do to get them in 5 or 10 and not only 1(or 3 from winning chest at Dragon Ball I know I got 3 from a chest there).

There is a small CHANCE you will get 3 from coffin, it’s not always like that.

Well, people farming holos at explorable – looks much more profitable.

Don’t get your hopes up, you’re looking at around 100 taffy per 30 mins farming holos…

“No node stealing” is one of the major selling points when GW2 was launched remember? Can’t believe Anet had forgotten it.

And the extreme high cost for the Holographic Dragon Wing Cover —- 100,000 pieces of Zhaitaffy? Are u kidding?

I found 112 Taffy in half an hour of killing them holograms… that’s something like 19 days of 24/7 grinding….

Along with the ludicrous RNG on skins (Didn’t even get the Jetpack from the molten bosses either!) i can’t see myself playing GW2 much longer, it’s turning into a grind gold buy from TP game.
