You want a dueling mode with ranking? Because otherwise, you just have custom arenas, and you can easily create dueling competitions.
With rankings during a season and unranked offseason ^^
I myself am a huge dueling fan and would love a 1v1 duel mode for pvp.
I wouldnt care if people would have to use normalized gear or not aswell.
It would just add another layer of depth into the game that alot of people will enjoy for sure.
How about the idea? Did anyone ever brought it up before? Did ANet ever respond?

well you can play unranked with your buddies or you are just mad you cant farm free ranks anymore from stomping disorganized pugs?
You know it should be the other way right? Organized teams in ranked and unorganized teams in unranked…

Should condi damage stay this high?
I for myself think its absurdly high for pvp and it should be nerfed asap to keep the fun in pvp going.
Whats so fun about standing there waiting for the condis to kill for example a thief who just used his shadowstep to cleanse the ones you put on him 10 seconds ago?
PvP imo should be all about power builds and actually outplaying enemys instead of condibombing someone without them having anyway of coming back.
