Just spitballing, what if when u commit to spectate u may no longer join that match?
cool, thanks guys
I just started exploring Dry Top for Dragons Reach part 1, but I have not done any other living world this season. Is it impossible to get out of the Valley without the story line? People in chat seemed to suggest it. I hope I am wrong, or this is really broken if I cant keep going without a story mode I now have to pay for.
vargamonth- thats crazy, I didnt know it scaled that much like it does with champs. I guess we just have a lot of people who dont know what their doing.
DebraKadabra- Thanks, I will defiantly do that.
My server can’t seem to beat the living world; one night we were able to defeat the knights, but couldnt defeat the holograms. Zerging is getting old, fast. How close were we to finishing the event? I just want to finish the story, yet I have to rely on my whooooole server to finish a story. 15 minutes of grinding is not fun; it was the first time, but now that I have memorized every attack, it is just a giant health bar I can’t do much about. Should I just go to another sever (which I feel is a very poor solution to a problem), or were we actually close to defeating it? Someone said there was a way to get on the Breachmaker without going through the knights, is that true at all? No Spoilers Please
I have only assigned keys to the buttons on my mouse. The mouse has the ability to use macros, but has remained untouched since I bought it a year and a half ago, which I have been using since the launch of GW2. I have not downloaded any outside material for GW2. There is no button that I press that is not one button to one key.
I also think they would admit when they made a mistake, but I can’t seem to find anything I’ve done wrong either. So I feel like I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Firstly, I love Anet, so I’m only complaining to help improve an already great game.
I was recently banned for botting, extended unattended play, using macros, or similar behavior. I mention all of those because I still don’t quite know what I did. They opened my account back up, but provided no details as to what I did; only stating that I was “involved in a violation”, but they were going to “extend leniency”. On the very off chance that I was cheating but didn’t know I was cheating, I asked how I could avoid this again. It doesn’t resolve much if they ask me to stop what it is I was doing, but I have no idea what that is. They were not able to give me anything more because this was all disclosed information.
I had suggested that the only thing that comes close to what I was being accused of was perhaps the mouse I use; however, I only use one key for every button on my mouse, which as far as I understand, is legal.
So I am now on the black list but have no idea why I am there, and I feel like I’m walking on egg shells before the second strike; which will probably be a lot more severe.
Once again, I can’t think of anything I did that falls into that list, but Support says its a “fact” I was “involved in a violation”. Do you guys think they have to say that to cover their tracks when their wrong, or did I actually unknowingly cheat? I would love to know what people think, and would love to hear suggestions of why I got flagged and how I can avoid it. I would also love hear if anyone else has run into the same problem.

Agreed, for something that you don’t have to worry about activating, its pretty strong. I wonder how it compares to the other classes heal signet. I play an ele, and it gives half the health a warrior gets, per spell cast (392 per second vs 202 per cast). Its not a bad heal if ur playing d/d and casting a lot, however, you have to caste two spells every second to get the same health a warrior gets with no effort.

Maybe the hammer would be better if the doors to the control room were only open during certain times (like how Svanir and Chieftain come back). And everyone was kicked out after a short time.
Positives:
*I can use my ele staff build really well there with the 2nd stories.
Negatives:
*Hammer is too powerful, and control room is designed for cc builds.
*Its funny the first time knocking someone off, then its just not even fun anymore.
*the breaking platforms are too hazardous. Im sure a more skilled player can mind their surrounding more than me; but after avoiding enemies, ledges and the skyhammer, doesn’t it become a bit much?…. especially in the control room.
Air, since GW1 , has usually been about single target, and not much AoE. So when I switch to air I should feel like there is no other element more suited for 1v1 than air. Why not make lightning surge something to be feared; when everyone can see it coming a mile away, it better pack a punch, and if thats not an option, than at least get ride of the cast time. As for Gust, why would I want a skill that pushs people over only when they stand still? If they are just standing around or immobilized, than Im going to be dropping AoE, not pushing them. Gust is really only meant for someone running straight at you. No one runs at you! They are bull rushing or telephoning!
I Disagree. As a warrior, I cant use half of the greatswords available; this is because when they are on my back the swords go through the ground! All I can imagine is the clanking sounds of the sword as it drags across the streets of Lions Arch… real cool.
Ok, this is nitpicking, and I’m sure someone else has said it, but the warrior greatsword rush skill for the Asura is lame. For those unfamiliar with how it looks; the Asura always hold their greatswords and hammers on their shoulder, and when they “rush” to attack they still hold it on their shoulder. For starters, it doesn’t look very aerodynamic, it just looks like their tiny legs start moving faster. Compare that to the Charr; when they rush, they go on 3 legs while holding the sword to the side… its freakin BA. The Asura, on the other hand, just do the same animation they do when they are walking around with their sword out. Holding on their shoulders is kinda lame to begin with. Whoever worked on the Asura did a great job (Asura animations were the reason I chose one), but they failed on this animation IMO.
U may be on to something. I havent really played other races much so I may be wrong, but the camera as always been an issue for me, I just thought everyone had that problem.
