I will never make another Sylvari female again…
I couldn’t bear that God awful sound…

I am a female and role playing a male character in game feels just plain silly to me. So I have to go with female characters but the lack of options is frustrating.

That sound of getting hit makes me wanna jab my eyeballs out. Although I love her regular voice and accent, the scream of pain is definitely a deal breaker! If they fixed it, I’d reroll Sylvari again.
I have leveled a female human ranger all the way to 80 and I don’t have anything to complain about.
Other races I can’t really bear to look at…
So it seems I am stuck with the human race and wont be able to explore other personal story lines anytime soon…

Hi, I have the same thing happening to me, but the sound I get for the filled endurance is a different one, its more like muffled clink sound. But the beep is like the one when you get new mail or whisper. I am yet to figure out what it is…

Yeah whenever I am crafting in Divinity’s Reach, I have to endure the sounds of an orgy…
What is up with that? Thank god I play with headphones on or I’d have some serious explaining to do…

Hmm, why can’t I hear it? Never once caught my attention and I am normally very tuned into weird sounds…

Omg I made a Sylvari elementalist and I couldn’t bear that God awful sound…

The problem is my race and gender choices are limited due to me being a female and role playing a male character in game feels just plain silly to me. So I have to go with female characters but the lack of options is frustrating.

Charr: I don’t feel inclined towards this race.

Norn: The Norn females sound and act like transvestites, too masculine for my taste.
You can make them as pretty or lean as you can but still something about them is off putting. Plus why would I want to play a human but only bigger, maybe the idea would be more enticing if I would play a male character but I simply wont.

Asura: I dont mind it as much, they can even be cute but what is up with the whole ET + Gnome splice theme??

Same story, card is good and has funds but I am not able to make purchases via paypal or direct credit card information.
Trying to use a Visa.

Also when I tried to buy the game yesterday digitally from the GW2 website I was not able to do so because of the same problem.
