This depends a lot on your build and the state of your cooldowns. Troll builds like to show up in troll moments. Also fun having 2 or 3 of these about at the same time.

At the very least, applying condis should reveal you. Just like applying power dmg.

Easy, bunker is a class that can absorb dmg for some time and its doesnt mean that he\she should be a supp\heal build.

I hate condition builds as much as the next guy but you guys are just being silly. Paladin scrapper has more defensive stats than the mesmer, warrior, or necro builds.

Annoying in that their survivability is really good if you know how to use your stealth and heals.

I think they have less potential damage than a thief, but a lot more survivability, boon access, and support via heals.

We’ve done GvG many times with other T1 guilds, and we’ve had a bunch of group fights with tRex whilst roaming. Whenever we’re asked to GvG, we do, and win majority of the time. Most guilds we come across will complain we’re dirty and can only gank, but when we offer to organize a fair GvG, they either don’t respond or turn it down.

But thank you. Harassing and killing is how we do. o/

@OP: The best thing you can do vs griefing is to not respond or react. The players harassing you want a reaction from you. Ignore them. They lose.

But yeah I think that guy from DB is just a tad on the salty side. I dunno I had a good time when I ran into the thieves and such from QQ, they always go for the kill and it at least made running around interesting (as opposed to JQ at the time which was zzzzz).

Agreed with the ignore option, they’re fishing for the reaction and by not giving them anything they’re the ones left looking salty.

By “more opportune”, you mean backstabbing while they’re fighting someone else because you can’t beat them yourself lol.. Sounds like you’re the person as a kid that ran away from fights and came back with a bigger brother and jumped a person because you couldn’t fight for yourself.

I win 2v1s frequently while roaming, 3v1s are a big challenge to win but it has happened. Anything more than that, might as well either run or lay down. You won’t see me running from a 1v1 ever. Anyone who does is garbage.

Don’t be mad cuz u get out-roamed all day Mr. Cele Ele. Maybe if you speced for mobility and damage like all these “runners” instead of good old cheesy bruiser Ele, you wouldn’t have a problem bursting down people before they escape.

You’re welcome to PM me when I’m on and I’ll happily 1v1 you or anyone else if you want to meet up in guild hall or something. My ele actually does plenty of damage and isn’t generally full cele, its usually a mix of cele and marauder. I have no issues with burst, but when thieves stealth and just shortbow5 away, there is no catching them no matter what you’re on unless its another thief lol.

Revenant begs to differ. Am a rev main.

Edit: also idk about you but I’m relieved when a thief has shortbow over staff. Staff is far more of a threat in a fight.

So far a revenant is the only thing that has defeated my ele build, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was able to beat me. As far a thief threats go, I’ve yet to fight a thief that was a threat in a 1v1 at all really.

Ele is still the overall #1 in my book. Gets mobility from Fiery Greatsword if you need it, has good burst with overloads, great tankability in Celestial gear and if you know what you’re doing with combos, you won’t die easily and you’ll win most 2v1s.

Thief is good for roaming if you’re a garbage player and just want to run away from anyone you can’t defeat in 3 hits or less.

Ranger is so easily countered and just runs away if they start to be countered – more garbage player stuff.

Condi mesmer and condi thief work well on bad players. You can literally just walk away from a condi mesmer or condi thief and it not matter. The only way they can beat you is if you hard commit or don’t know how to manage your condition clears well. Once they blow their burst and all of your movement cooldowns (blink, shadow step, steal, etc) trying to get you while you walk away, you simply turn around and burst them and the fight is over.

Revenant is good if you have 2+ for roaming, it isn’t very good solo in my opinion.

Engineer is pretty good from what I’ve seen, but I don’t play it to be able to say anything of its greatness.

Guardian can be great for roaming solo or in a small group with the right build. The only thing it lacks greatly is mobility, it doesn’t even have a good source of swiftness unless you want to run staff, which is bad for roaming.

For those saying weakness is fine, is weakness + protection + -50% damage skills like Bulwark Gyro fine? Because that’s what power builds have to deal with. One of these needs to change to either have less of an effect on power or also affect conditions.

Idea: weakness makes conditions a 25% chance to not apply.

Could you also advise if I did well enough during the fight to say that I have a decent playstyle against Berserkers or was the Berserker making too many mistakes? She isn’t bad I feel, she came back later and destroyed me.

She is from BG server’s QQ guild (which is made up of very skilled players imo) berserker with the legendary division PvP season 2 title.

You did good, but Hadi (the warrior) was like asleep that fight or playing with his feet or something… He’s a really good warrior. I’ll be sure to show him this and kitten on him about it xD
