Being a roleplayer, I do currently look at town clothes for consideration for outfits because of the convenience of having a customisable out-of-combat outfit ‘slot’ available to all my characters. If the changes to town clothes go in, it’ll remove any current and future town clothing from even consideration to purchase, as well as removing my engineer’s lounging outfit.
I would like to see off-hand Scepter, off-hand Sword and Rifle.
Off-hand Scepter would offer more support and visually dexterous use of magic. Putting up magnetic reflection walls with Earth, targetted stunning ice cage, fiery tornado for area damage and weakness etc.
Off-hand Sword would give highly offensive ST attacks, both range and melee. Beams of fire, electrically charged slashes, water blades knocking enemies etc.
Magic ammunition and payloads with the Rifle, long range DPS with short range/long cooldown CC; Precise offensive magic:
Fire
Incendiary Rounds – Applies 1 sec burning every hit
Precise Inferno – High damage to target, burning to enemies in an AoE
Hot Shot – Rapidly shoot in an arc, putting down a wall of fire towards each enemy hit
Glythic Detonation – Tag your enemy with a glyth infused round, every hit for the next X seconds against that enemy are 100% crit and cause 1 sec of Burning
Water
Ice Bullets – 20% chance to apply Chilled and Crippled
Freeze Ray – Channeled attack, immobilises target for 3 seconds, stuns in a block of ice at the end of channeling
Spine Chiller – Applies Chilled to the enemy, high damage if they’re below 30% health
Air
Charged Shots – 20% chance to Daze on hit
Bring the Thunder – Fire into the air to knock back nearby enemies
Sniper Strike – Fire into the air to hit an enemy with lightning, very long range, high damage
Earth
Pebble Buckshot – Short range cone auto attack, causes Bleed
Bunker – Root yourself, gain stability and increase the range of all attacks for X seconds
Boulder Slug – Fire a shot which picks up rocks as it travels, dealing more damage the higher the range
Seismic Round – Briefly knock down enemies in a targetted location
Just throwing that out there, best I can think of on the spot. It’s something I’d like to see.
Hey gotta ask, the 50% per extra character, is that based on the original price or the price for each one added? Let’s say a group of 3 want inked+coloured full body, would it cost 18+9+9=36g or 18+9+13.5=40.5g? Me and my friends are looking for a group picture, but verification on a price would be grand.
Really like your art by the way, very reasonable prices. How long does it take you to do your pieces?
The first thing that comes to mind with a Necromancer with a torch is using it like a beacon for the dead, so basing it on ghost/ghoul manipulation for CC skills would be a great way to go. A nice solid CC offhand, or perhaps the first mainhand torch user?
Here’s a few ideas that I think Torch could do conceptually:
Auto-attack being a series of swipes like the scepter, except it’s used to direct ghosts/ghouls to attack the enemy, applying consistant Chill
A thrust of the Torch to send out a wave of spirits, crippling enemies and granting Retaliation(or something) to allies, with some damage?
You raise the Torch to the air, gathering spirits around you dealing radial damage, acting as a Whirl finisher and applying Blind/Chill/Cripple/Immob/Whatever each second
You breath through the flames, sending out a cone of spectral fire which fears and torments enemies
You pull the fire from the Torch and engulf yourself in spectral flames, curing conditions and healing yourself, but also applies Burning
You throw the Torch to a targetted location and teleport to the location, exploding in spectral flames on both ends, fearing enemies in a radius
You hold out the Torch to an enemy and try and suck out their soul, dealing continual damage and stealing boons, every boon stolen is replaced with a 1 second Chill
Some sort of soul sight where your eyes burst into blue/green flame, acting like the Engineer Utility Goggles. Grants boons to the Necro with related conditions against a target, like Might/Vulnerability, Retaliation/Confusion, Protection/Weakness. I’m not too sure on this one but I believe the concept is sound.
9/10
It may be just black and white, but a nice combination of themes for a classic RPG Necromancer look. I think there could be a better head piece, but it all ties up nicely overall.
Glorious, generous artist! I present to you, the amazing, the incredible, the GENIUS..!
Runt Hack! Master inventor of all things that go tick, tock then BOOM and FWOOSH. Armed with his trusty flamethrower and backup Charrzooka, he’ll gladly strike a pose to explode your heart <3
Perhaps have some practice with action shots, poses, or just something silly~

Piratical gentleman inventor Runt Hack ponders if Fsnowzombie has enough time for the ultimate Gladium of Science™
Here’s Runt Hack, my Charr Engineer whose hobbies involve planning to take over the world, tinkering with his flamethrower, and inventing new ways of exploding or shooting people. He’s not allowed in the Citadel anymore after The Incident™…
Thanks for offering your skills to people, a lot of respect Aerobotnik
I’d absolutely adore an unarmed set for the classes (as well as Great Axe, but I think ideas for it are already covered ), especially Warrior. I envision unarmed being a heavy single target damaging, CC and boon heavy weapon, like a mix of Mace and Axe with basically no AoE.
Main Hand:
Jab – A quick punch, very fast animation and average damage
Punch – A strong right hook, average damage, applies a stack of Confuse
Uppercut – A powerful uppercut, high damage, knocks down for 1 second if you have Fury or 10+ stacks of Might.
Unstoppable Fist – A straight cone charge like Greatsword’s 3
Disarm – No damage, dazes the target
Offhand:
Backhand – High damage, grants you 5 stacks of Might
Victory! – With a fist pump you declare victory, granting yourself 2 seconds of fury for each nearby ally and enemy up to a maximum of 10 seconds. Allies in the radius gain 3 stacks of Might, enemies gain Weakness
Burst:
Sucker Punch – A fast, highly damaging punch with a 100% critical chance from the side or behind the target
On the one hand, Warriors do have a lot of weapons already and there are other classes I’d like to see given more options first.
On the other hand, Warriors using a Dagger like a throwing knife would be pretty sweet.
If making it simply AoE would cause issues, I would like to suggest making it a targetted leap where any allies in the radius have their aggro transferred to you.
This would add a targettable leap to the Warrior (Thinking like the Engineer’s Jump Shot), it avoids simply forcing enemies to attack you with more tactical aggro management, plus it’ll set off Vigorous Shouts. Tier 3 skill with a 40-60 second cooldown? I think it’d work.
Something like what Sporadicus said. Change the fire wall into a large ground targetted circle. As it is, I rarely use this ability due to the mobility of most fights making it near useless and if I’m using the flamethrower I get no use of it as a combo field. If it were a large radius, not so big that a fight can always be kept in it, but big enough that with some skilled kiting/dodging you can keep an enemy in it for a reasonable amount of time in PvE, or have it as good damaging area denial in PvP, then I’d like that.
I’m happy with the other skills. Flame Blast isn’t just another simple AoE spam attack and requires the right combat conditions (which can be manipulated), Flame Jet is some fairly consistant ranged AoE damage which adds many chances for critical procs and I’ve gotten over the beta change of the 5 skill, an AoE blind has saved my and other people’s butts more than a cone AoE pull.
Raven: Knockback/Daze cone CC, bleed stacking
Wolf: Group Fury/Regeneration, bleed stacking
Leopard: High mobility/speed, stealth
Not too sure about Bear, I think it can stack up Might for a group
They have their uses, but as said they tend to be less powerful than class Elites.
I like you. I like you a lot, please stay long time.
Here is my Guild Wars relic, Albacus Uruz. Originally an Assassin/Elementalist, dual dagger Ele is just perfect. He’s how I plan for him to be Soon™ once I’ve run enough explorables, the idea being he’s a Noble who likes to get his hands dirty with exploding knives. Feel free to try something acrobatic or dangerous ^^
Maybe he ought to rethink exploding knives. Just sayin’.
(I… went a little literal there, oops.)
Hee thank you! A possibility I hadn’t thought of, I’ll have to make use of this in roleplay
Yaaay, free art!
Here’s my Elementalist Albacus Uruz, latest in a line of nobility from Cantha. He’s a continuation of my character from GW1 Abacus Uruz, an Elementalist/Assassin, so naturally I leapt onto Dagger/Dagger Eles. He’s primarily Fire attunement in combat, with forays into using Lightning and Earthquakes. I’d love a kind of Assassin-y pose, daggers out and ready to strike with flaming blades (I plan on dual Incineraters.. Eventually).
Thank you ever so much for the thread, free art is always appreciated in these parts

Flamethrowers are a doddle to aim for such a genius as Runt ;P
Thank you for the speedy picture! I’ll put it somewhere above the fireplace
If I may be so bold, would you frown upon me asking another request for a more human character?
*slooowly leans in* Oh, hello there awesome person, don’t mind if I leave this here~
BEHOLD! Runt Hack, the flamethrower wielding, goggle wearing, indecently grinning mad scientist Charr!
He likes long rockets on the beach (Darn Orrian ships!), gratuitous exposions under a starry sky and fire. Feel free to experiment with an action pose, the crazier and more explosion/flamethrowery the better ^^ Thanks for the thread!
It’s a really neat trick which doesn’t effect any actual gameplay (as far as I’m aware) so hopefully it wont be taken out.

I think it mostly goes down to individual players/guilds, but there are those out there who go full 100% Roleplay/In Character and they tend to be the most fleshed out characters and most interesting to interact with.
Awesome, thank you! Hope you’re feeling better from the cold, looking forward to seeing the other pieces too ^^
Awesome artists EVERYWHERE \o\ I like your lines, nice relaxed feel to your style – Flows nicely ^^
I’d like to request my character Runt Hack, regularly seen with a flamethrower, goggles and a big grin. Cleaning/tinkering the flamethrower would be cool, but so would dual wielding flamethrowers, I’ll leave the creativity to you . Thank you for putting up a thread for this
I love this forum, thank you got the generosity!
Character’s name is Runt Hack, think if Doc Brown from Back to the Future was a Charr – Also he’s a pyromaniac. I trust you to think up something awesome involving a flamethrower and his trademark grin and goggles ~<3

The problem I have with Trahearne is that isn’t the writing, because it is reasonable writing, he’s an obvious plot crux/Mary Sue type character, but it’s acceptable because of the lore surrounding it (how Sylvari work etc).
It’s not that he specifically sounds boring, or bored, I can understand him perhaps being used to the horrors because of his work on Orrian history and the Dragons already.
It’s that he sounds like a voice actor. He sounds like a cheap and bad voice actor who’s doing a job they don’t specifically like, but it gets them money so he puts up with it. He isn’t a character, he’s lines being read by someone who doesn’t care for them.
Greater combat maneuverability while retaining some enemy control thanks to Jump Shot, Overcharged Shot and Net Shot.
But then it goes down to playstyle vs min-maxing which is a horrible thing to choose between.

I’m going for a build which is the best I can make while sticking to a general concept. The play style in mind is to have the ability to stand in the middle of a fight through raw critical damage, self healing and combining Well of Darkness with Chilling Darkness (Well causing blind with every tick and applying blind also applies chill) for surprising enemy debuff, I don’t know how it’s going to play out yet so if anyone’s tried this I’d love to get some feedback.
Currently level 20 and it’s working pretty well, he eats a group’s health like it was nothing and can stand toe to toe with most Veterens and Champions I’ve faced so far, though of course it is the low levels so who knows how crazy it’ll be once Orr rolls around.

Why not add a little Asuran and Charr technology in and fly it as a full amalgam of technology due to the Pact?
Skill name – Description; Tool Belt skill name – Description
Asuran:
Taser – Melee stun; Electrified – The next enemy that attacks you is dazed
Short Range Teleport – 900 range self teleport; Teleport! – Teleports the targetted enemy to you
Mini Golem – Summons a small mini golem, it can follow you around but all damage is melee based; Rocket Fist – You fire a glove at a target, dazing them
Charr:
Time Bomb – You attach a sticky time bomb to an enemy, 4 seconds later it explodes for AoE damage and burning (like the under water ability); Set To Blow – You can detonate an explosive on a targetted ally (turrets and golems count) for AoE damage and burning
Saw – A mechanical chainsaw springs forth from your sleeve, severely bleeding targetted foe; Spring-Loaded Blade – Your other sleeve had a simpler blade for going for the eyes, foe blind
Elixir Ch – Converts conditions on you into stacks of Might; Throw Elixir Ch – Targetted AoE, turns three conditions allies are suffering from into stacks of Might
Auto – 1200 range, applies a 1 second Cripple every third shot
2 – 1500 range, applies 5 stacks of Vulnerability, Cripples
3 – 1500 range, applies Blind, your pet’s next attack has 100% critical chance
4 – 900 range, cone, 1 second fear
5 – 1500 range, high damage, 100% critical chance against enemies with less than 20% health
20% cooldown reduction trait in Marksmanship T1
Increase the 5 ability’s health % for critical chance to under 30% health in Marksmanship T3
That’s what I’d expect/would like to see from a Ranger with a rifle.
