Here’s an update for you:

It’s clear that quite a lot of you would like to have greater flexibility in using the Currency Exchange. Our intention when we designed the new interface was to streamline large volume purchases, which make up the majority of transactions.

In light of your feedback, we will update the Currency Exchange so that you can decide how you want to use it. We will keep the new streamlined system and also offer a new “Custom” button on the panel that you can use to exchange any increment of gems or gold.

We anticipate rolling this out soon. Stay tuned!

What about the fact that they knew what the right thing was before launching this? Does that come into play at all for you? I mean…they aren’t stupid. They are smart enough to make an MMO and sell it to millions. They know what they are doing.

This isn’t an “Oh mai gawsh, we never thought about this..so you want to be able to manually enter in your amounts?? Got it! Thanks”.

This is a “We’ll force them to overbuy and over pay…lets wait and see if they reach a 10.0 on the ‘Rage-o-meter’ we have on the wall in the office. If so, we have the code ready to go to create a ‘Custom’ button..so we can appease them and give off the appearance of listening to their feedback. Either way, win win for us!”

This would of been better done the other way around, roll the new system on top of the “previous”. Now we gotta wait for what we already had lol

NA here, massive skill lag, and not only PvP, LA right now (with halloween update) is unplayable for me

My 2 cents: You can keep this new system in place, but I’d like to be able to buy gems in whatever amount I feel like at any given moment (with gold).

Say I ran a few dungeons and sold some items and have disposable coin, I’d rather use that amount, whatever it is to get some gems and not keep it sleeping in the bank where inflation hits hard.

Lagging like there’s no tomorrow right now, PvP lobby, crowded maps, Crowded Areas (Teq etc). Unplayable

Is this for everybody that bought gems one one way or the other or just the ones that bought them with real money?

Joinign a tournament gets you locked in a loop of a never starting series of matches that will prompt you to go now or wait, either choice gives the same error code, and upon failure of the match, it makes a new match recycling the process.

Going to PVE doesnt help since the popups will continue to appear every few seconds asking you to go join the tournament, also you are unable to disband your roster.

BTW, Tournaments are on the same situation

As of 3:15pm Pacific time on April 30 Random sPVP and tournaments are non-accessible

when you try to join a game it pops up a message saying

“Guild Wars 2 has been updated, please exit and relaunch it”

Not the OP but I am on Aurora Glade EU and the NPCs icons are gone. In Wayfarer, Diessa they are gone, in Ashford the npc is there just not marked. I don’t know where i would find the Iron Marches guy.

Wayfarer foofthills = No collector NPC nor Icon Marker in the map
Plains of Ashford = Collector NPC is there not the Icon Marker in the map
Diessa Plateau = No Collector NPC nor Icon Marker in the map

Why did these collectors dissapeared before the month ended? can’t complete monthly now

Why are these colelctors gone?

I contacted support and i provided all the info I had, my friend is back now, and after seeing my messages about the activity on the account, logged in and contacted support now.

Hello, I noticed one of my friends (also a guildie) started to behave strangely over the last few days, haven’t answered to private messages, suddenly stopped representing our guild, “de-friended” me and other people who we believe were both friended through the friends system in-game, etc.

So after a few days of thinking that maybe this person just didn’t want to stay around with us anymore or talk to me or others, I started to convince myself that in fact what might be causing this behavior could be the loss of access of this person’s account.

Since the account remained in game all this time through and on the same map, I went on and tried to find it, I succeeded, and from the looks of it, the account is being used to bot.

I have several screenshots as well as videos of this.

I have tried contacting this person through different ways but I’m still waiting on an answer (this person happens to be busy for the time being and I am aware that might not be around for some time, at least in game).

Now what should be my next step?

What he said, everybody is on the super adventure box right now, or spamming Rata sum for groups!!!

You get full refund either way (if its just ont he queue waiting to start or if it’s started). You do not however get refunds on speed ups. Done this too many times and its on the wiki too.

Been holding a 3 guilds alliance for over 3 months now [not smal guilds], recently added another one [small one], it’s been working wonderfully for dungeon runs, WvW and almost anything else u wanna do when u lack some people in either of the guilds, not to mention those massive zergs in WvW

Those were “yesterday’s Daily” I completed my daily before the update, then logged in and could complete it again with the crafting, combos and underwater categories before reset we all had the same achievs to do. Also completed my daily after reset and me and everybody in my guid had the same achievements, it tied to the day of the week it seems, not player based.

Yeah same, I want to be able to unload this form the UI it was more than enough as we had already. When are we going to be able to customize our UIs???

I don’t want the achievement to get a nerf, I wanna do it as it is, but in a party with friends.

You just need to deliver the killing blow, you will knwo if u succeeded if ur name appears as the killer on the UI, also you will get a notice stating Gift Bringer Stopped or something along that line.

Also as many have mentioned, pick Scout, try to stay out of combat and skirmishes, you just got to aim to bring them down while carrying the gift, try to hide and stay close to the route that leads to their base, stealth etc.

It’s pretty easy when u get used to the shortcuts and stealthing ur way around to sneak into their path, also you will know if u stopped players on the board as stopping a player gives points for the match as well.
