Scepter blows balloons with sword off-hand because the illusion on block via sword doesn’t spawn an illusion. This only occurs if scepter is main hand and sword is offhand.

Base Attack speed increase is nice for clone creation. The 15% increase bug to scepter is discouraging. I’m sure more scepter issues exist that we haven’t found yet.

Scepter/ sword : when blocking with the sword (Scepter main hand, sword second) no illusion appears. According to the description an illusion should appear if a successful. Block is executed. I had someone (I think toxic) watch me to make sure my eyes were seeing no illusion. Toxic confirmed (I think toxic posts here). Is this an old issue? Or new

I feel a lot of Mesmers on this forum played mesmer in GW1. For most of GW1, pre-EOTN, the mesmer was low damage, and required a lot of skill to play in comparison to the other classes.

When GW2 arrived, the class was FAR easier to play than the GW1 Mesmer, which sorta ticked me off. I got over it. Now, the Mesmer has been dumbed down further.

The class had high risk with medium to low reward. So, finding a build that worked and was better than high risk/low reward was satisfying.

illusionary reposte is the skill used when no illusion would spawn. Does that skill shares a clone recharge with Illusionary Counter, as if they are using the same clone? As, I’ve seen no clone spawn a few times.

I keep editing this as I keep seeing new things: I’m not seeing the ill. Riposte illusion appear at all. I only see iDefender appear. when iDefender is on cooldown, no illusion appears.

also, i’m not using fencers finesse. Using Scepter/Sword.

Edit: The issue is ill. Riposte doesn’t create an illusion if you have scepter main hand. I’ve confirmed this. Is this working as intended? An issue before the big update?

I was testing out Illusionary Counter and riposte with mental defense and noticed sometimes I would get 2 illusions (one defender and one clone), or 1 illusion (sometimes defender, sometimes clone), or none. I might have gotten 3 with one block also (might have been from scepter, but as weird as this skill is working, who knows!)

Has anyone else noticed this?

My female human wants to wear male “under-armor.” If we can wear the other genders armor, then we should have the under armor of the other gender to match it. Plus, I gave my Mesmer extra “bounce” and I’m just curious to see how well that surgery went.

If a male that who identified as female can be created, and is allowed to run around topless in game, then we must treat everyone equal and allow women who identify as a male to run around topless. This should also include women who identify as women as well, as any form of discrimination is a step in the wrong direction. Does arena net want to be on the wrong side of history?! :P

To me, of all the things that have occurred over the last week, the wings are the most discouraging. I’m embarrassed to even wear them. Might as well attach two pillows to my back and let me run around.

Is TNTD native to Piken or did they come on a wagon? I’m really not sure. Just curious!

It might have been me. I remember doing that a couple months ago to Mendon’s Gap. We weren’t doing well on the map, so it thought it would be fun to go up there and see if i could grab the attention of the server by bangin on the gate. I remember yelling in chat that was going to take it all by myself! I was able to find a place to stand where the guard’s wouldn’t notice me, and i used wardens to hit the gate. I remember a necro finding me, me stealthing away, and watching him sit there for a few minutes trying to figure out what was going on. I got the gate to about 5-10% before more gandarans came. I was there for a very long time attacking that gate! Atleast a half hour. Pretty sure once the gate was down I wouldn’t have been able to take the keep by myself. Camps are one thing, Towers….whole new ball game!

Well, I find it hypocritical for us (Gandara) to get worked up over an alliance (see last week’s match-up) and then turn around and start making alliances ourselves, FOR ANY REASON.

Second, when the player private messages you to laugh and say i don’t care…it makes it into a bigger deal.

Therefore, I’m calling our server out on this. Will post screen shot of conversation if you further doubt.

An interesting fact: I was just told to stop attacking Piken because there was a truce between Piken and Gandara in EB. This message came from a member of the WvW guild on Gandara server. Very discouraging to see this coming from the Gandara server.

save me some silver. How much does it heal per charge?

The problems with mantras are three fold:

1) there is no passive bonus outside of traits. They should act like the opposite of signets. When on recharge/channeling, they should add a passive benefit. This would add a of utility to mantras and make them a ton of fun to play. Would it be too powerful to have mantra traits give their bonus when you simply have a mantra selected as a utility skill?

2) Mantras are line of sight. Can’t tell you how many times i’ve wasted charges on this.

3) If you want to use the last charge of a mantra, you risk wasting your trait line, which is a big deal. So, you’re almost required to use 30 in Dom for 3 charges. If they made default charges at 3 (with more recharge time) , and 4 for 30 dom, you could free up mantras for actual use, allowing a Mesmer to move trait lines around. This means we could use 2 charges and sit on one to obtain any trait line benefits tied to mantras.

I honestly don’t see a point in running mantras unless you use Empowering Mantras and Harmonious Mantras. Other classes have better heals and don’t need a mesmer to help.
