just PLEASE buff the elementalists SOON (in sPvP)
They’ve been bottom-line and still very hard (if not hardest) to play/master since the august ‘balance’ patch.
It’s absolutely terrible how it’s been 7 months already and one of the most challenging professions has been the most unrewarding one in sPvP ever since. I just can’t believe it actually seems normal to most by now that elementalists are just useless in tPvP, while they put in 100% more efford in their timing, placement, rotation, tactics, healing, … than any other out there ONLY to SURVIVE.

As a true elementalist that kept playing ele until now ,since the ‘worst balance patch ever’, I can say that I convinced myself over and over again, that changes would come soon, that things would become better, that putting so much practice and dedication into one single profession would’nt have been for nothing, that I’v eventually given up hope. How can it be that a Lame-Bow warrior or a spirit ranger or a thief or a mesmer or a dps guardian or a condition warrior or a condi necro or a condi engi or … could’ve been such a … Seriously, get your stuff right, it’s about time.

1. Elementalist: in PvE they’re forced into Lightning Hammer / Fiery Sword, which ruins the whole idea of mobility, diversity and controling the 4 elements through attunements (why should spamming 5 skills on a conjure weapon be any more rewarding than swapping through 4 attunements and 5 skills each). What does this add to mastering an elementalist >< reward >< fun, when all they want is ‘zerk LH/FGS’?
In PvP they’re left out in every way, since in this meta soaking up damage through immunities or w/e and dishing out constant dps while playing as a herd on a point is thé way to go. Skill through timing, placement, … hardly matters when autoattacks get them down way to fast.

2. Ranger: due to horrible pet UI, their auto attacks have to make up for the lost dps, which just feels spammy and boring. Instead make it so that tactical and well timed use/placement of pets determine a ranger’s play. Not spamming autoattack & cooldowns, inflicting some conditions, evading the rest and hoping the pet lands a blow in someone’s face.
3. Necromancer: playing with autoattack ‘do your thing while I’ll do mine’ minions is boring, rewards less-skilled play and takes away a lot of the tactical placement and timing other professions have to do to actually get their damage to hit. + the zergfest minions + ranger spirits cause on my screen just make me sick. Makes a 5v5 look like a 20v5.

Overall: (main pvp) instead of giving players a meta where skillfull play as in timing, placement, … is critical, it turned more into who can dish out the most constant dps, while soaking up incoming damage through immunities, heal up and keep going. I miss the old mesmer portal-thief stealth-ele/engi- x fast, suprising, tactical and coordinated play.

The 2x warrior, 1x necro, 1x ranger, 1x is just slow, spammy and boring to play, let even watch.

Charged Lodestone rarity is just too high.

The fact that the farming spots for Charged Lodestones are event-bound+ the popularity of ‘Sunrise’ , Bolt and other weapons (mjolnir) makes up for the 4g price now.

I understand things can be more popular then others, and so the prices are different, but the fact that the farming spots for Charged lodestones have to be unlocked by doing a series of pre-events (Orr, Malchor’s Leap, ..) makes it so unfair and I don’t understand why arenanet keeps it up.
If the precursors are already so expensive (Dawn) why make the charged lodestones x10 harder to achieve then other lodestones?
Corrupted, destroyers, .. can be farmed easily at different locations.
I get loads of molten cores in Citadel of Flames, it’s easy to do too.
When I do CoE for charged lodestones, 1: it takes longer 2. it’s more difficult 3. I don’t get any drops at all..

C’mon anet.. can you make it fair so that charged lodestones can be ATLEAST farmed at the same way & rate as the other lodestones? (Give us a few spots in the world where sparks, .. are ALWAYS around)

Charged Lodestone price going up too fast

They really need to even this out. I mean.. currently: corrupted, destroyer, molten, glacial and crystal are all around 1g, some even around 50s each..
Dusk and Dawn are already the most expensive precursors, because many classes use greatsword as their main weapon. But ok, 300-400g for a precursor, that’s managable, but they also require both the 2 most expensive types of lodestones: onyx, around 3g and charged, now at 4g each..

Anet, why is there such a gap between costs in different types of legendary weapons ..?
I get there is some difference here and there, but why should one be 10x harder to achieve then the others? That’s unfair and out of control.

It’s been like this for a while and the price up charged lodestones keeps going up, while precursors are back at their ‘normal’ price; 300-400g for a dawn (i’m referring at sunrise here atm, twilight is just as bad)
Why are some lodestones constantly farmable (destroyers, corrupted, …) and why are Charged Lodestones always tied to a series of pre-events?? The one in Orr, the one in Malchor’s Leap, ..
I don’t understand why you want to keep this kind of disadvantage standing, when the precursor prices already make it hard enough.
Dawn + Charged Lodestones would cost you 700g atm..
Do something about this please, you can’t ignore the fact that this a huge imbalance in types of legendaries and people trying to aquire it.

The effort for aquiring a legendary should be overall equal, not 10x harder if you want a staff or a greatsword or …
