Hello there!
Recently I have the urge to get back to sculpting again, and since the majority of my followers loves charr, I was wondering if I should do ‘Charr Totems’, create a mold for them and offering custom painted casts of those figures for sale.
My question is though, would that be against the ToS or anything?
I don’t think I’d sell many of them, but I surely want to avoid getting in trouble.
So:
Are handmodeled, cast and then custom painted charr figures okay to sell from arenanet’s side or not?
Hoping to get some official answers here, that’d be great!
Thanks a lot!
Hi Blackchaos!
I absolutely agree! Gorgeous work! Great expression and use of colour!! Would be awesome to get this race ingame as well as seeing more Tengu artwork here in the forum!!
Best regards
Benjamin
Thank you so much for the compliment! x)
I really hope we’ll see more Tengu ingame in the future – I’d love to learn more about their culture in the modern day Tyria and, of course, I’d love to play as one!
I like this a lot!
Oh my, thank you so much! <3
Thank you very much!
I have a lot more GW2 art, though not in this style mostly.
I finally designed my first Tengu character, Hou Swiftshadow….and now I want them to be in the game even more :’D
Pleaaaase can we have playable Tengu?? puppy eyes
I agree. I think I just screwed folks up by jumping in on a pre event that has to fail???? May have been BlackChaos above (sorry if it was you and to anyone else that had been waiting). I had no idea about the requirements to make Nevermore (until being chewed out for trying to do an event when they are the daily).
Nothing in a game with multiple player instances should require folks to not play/need to let something fail for people to move forward…especially something that takes so much to achieve. Having to have something fail in an instance would be understandable, when you can limit the number (and who) is there.
Again sorry to anyone I may have screwed over by not having read the fine print for something in the game that is relatively new and was not something I was trying to achieve myself. (Krazy Eighty Eight)
I don’t think I saw you anywhere, but as stated, it’s not anyone’s fault, besides the ones’ that decided this was a good thing to implement for a legendary collection :/
I mean, how SHOULD you know about that? And in the time people try to type something in chat the shaman is usually already dead, heh.
Especially today it will be impossible since there are a lot of people around for the daily – but even if not, it’s absolutely ridiculous, sadly. I kinda enjoyed the rest of the collection(s).
I’d really like to see the Devs reconsider their decision to make this item available by stopping (or trying to stop) other people to play the game. Even at times where you think not a soul is around (3am for example) one single person not listening to the chat can, and will, ruin the trophy for a lot of waiting people.
After 2 years, that was the first time again that I was really annoyed by other people showing up – not because it’s their fault (at least I hope so, even though it seemed there are also trolls around grinding that event on purpose, jumping infront of you after they killed the shaman…), but because Anet thinks it is okay to BEG or even BRIBE other players so that they let the event fail, only to let the boss be killed by a random person walking by.
One thing that I would really approve is: Could you please just add the item to the heart vendor there? That would safe a lot of frustration coming from the ones that want to craft Nevermore, and confusion from people that want to play the game.
Ahh thanks, I’ll wait then. Let’s hope for the best!
Just bought another 2 Marjory’s dagger skins on the sale a few days ago……and I already had 2 on my thief. So I’ll have spent 1800 gems for nothing.
(I didn’t even use 2 of the skins yet.)
I’d really like to know if they consider refunding those skins to gems.
I really love the new wardrobe system, but that really kittenes me off, because they’ve just been on sale
