I have. I have.
That last part had me busting out in laughter. I’m sorry.
Here’s the rub:
Your character actually STATES that Mordremoth was staring right at them during the cinematic. This complicates the whole “orb order” speculation.
How your character realizes that it’s Mordremoth staring back is beyond me. I find that it’s an interesting additional tidbit that confirms/denies what the player was thinking towards the end of that scene.
They’re still around because they’ve been drinking lead-contaminated water. Duh.
So… nobody knew it was a red shirt from the VA?
Like, seriously. Nobody was tripped up by the fact that they recycled Taimi’s voice actress? It was horribly obvious and I think ANet knew it.
So, I’m going to speak for the majority (which I may or may not be a part of) and say:
Your argument is unsubstantiated, your wit is dry, your opinion- yes, your opinion- is unpopular, and you should probably feel bad for berating the character development of others; especially fictional characters.
It just shows what kind of person you are and it’s not a flattering reveal. But, on a personal note: I’m happy to see a healthy minority- critics are necessary.
Interesting.
I wouldn’t doubt that it was Anise who bailed him out. …And I’m going to throw out all “CanachxAnise” nonsense right now when I say that this IS an interesting turn of events.
I wonder why Anise requires his services. (And yes, there definitely was some respect at play here.)
I’m sorry, but you obviously didn’t see the ‘gentle’ NECK SNAPPING going on in Prosperity Village. (There was one NPC whose head was twisted at such an angle that I literally went “Oh. Oh, my.”)
The vines aren’t rough-housing these people, they’re literally scooping them up and snapping their necks. Clean and lethal. Belinda’s expression is blank because she was most likely caught unaware.
Edit: Saw the attachment. Your graphic quality definitely plays a hand in the encounter. By the way, the hole is just coincidental.
Just be patient. This issue, to my knowledge, hasn’t occurred at all in the one-year history of the game. It’s only been a day. Things are especially complicated by the fact that the new patch is coming in two days.
In any case: be chill, be calm; it’s not like you’re being excluded, ANet’s just taking the time to study a problem they’ve (probably) never encountered with such severity before.
What are they going to say about an issue they’ve never dealt with before?

The Canthan District was never closed, though. The district itself never ‘was’, to begin with. R.I.P.
Anyway, I agree with the suggestion that the doors near either side of the district (Cemetery or vista tower) that are closed be opened.
Or, at least, make a jump puzzle out of getting into the district. We like weeding out the unskilled in TC.
