i am going to make necro cause i need something tanky………and i hate warriors. and probably guardians…….and like you said i am a newbie so i suck and really suck at dodging.

so i just want to dungeon what is the best class for a pug group? probably warrior and guardian but how are necro? mesmer?

sadly if i could take the money i spend in this game i would instantly………its kinda crappy when the community isnt heard…..i guess i am use to play League of legends where if enough people think that i completly fine skill is wrong even though its balanced the developer will hear and nerf it a little bit to just make the community happy or COME TO THE kitten FORUM AND TALK!!!! hell the people come and are willing to talk about everyday things balancing nerfing everything. they are so involved!!!! while gw2 the only time i see anet respond is when they close threads………..no talks about what the community want what changes should be done. really dissapointing but i shall remember in the future before buying a game dont see how good the game is see how good the people who made the game are! I just cant get over the fact that warrior who are so tanky with so much health and armor can do as much damage as elementalist………

SIGH yea and since my game timing are so different i am always with pugs……..sigh i guess i will just level my warrior…..Since everywhere i read warrior are said to be the easy and best class.

BTW which profession is the strongest to least strongest in dungeons…….

As the title say i die in dungeons ALOT…i am a staff elementalist and was doing AC path 1 i think…..our team barely survived the spider i just had to HEAL did no damage heal, blind, and use earth. i was kinda usefull in the one where we had to kill 6 holes i took down the 2nd and 3rd with my ice bow and fire sword really fast. after that the last guy who shoots laser out of his face owned us and then i had a hard time getting to him after dying……….i always loved RANGE DPS but since there are no TANKS in this game it seems like i cant play a glasscannon build like staff at all………getting hit almost once is DEATH for sure. the small minions easily kill me. EVEN with 3 level 80 we couldnt do it cause we kept dying……..i really dont know what to do!

BTW i googled elementalist in AC path 1 and saw one guy who did it alone but it was a year ago…idk staff just seems like its no good against bosses……i might just have to try the Lighting hamer build everyone talks about but that just going to be sad since i wanted a MAGE long range class rather than somekind of enchanted warrior or assasin.

did you mean IX for the water???

see i am kinda set on playing D/D but i guess i can try S/F. but those build are 6 months old… are they still the same? and they got 3 different kinda which one good…

i just started this game a week ago but i am going to say warrior is just too good and its a fact! i am not saying they are unbeatable or anything like that. BUT they definitely are strong. i really dont get why you are so set on DEFENDING and fooling people…….its a FACT that warrior are op! i AM SORRY SORRY but dude just WAKE up and realize it!!!! anyhow it doesnt matter keep QQ as much as you want they are getting a nerf soon cause if 66% of the people play warrior sooner or later its going to be done

Also idk i though it was common sense that a warrior main saying his class is not op is just dumb………..no offense no one is ever going to want a nerf to there main class……so you making this topic is pointless.

So i am playing elemental and its my first profession in this game! It has it ups and down but since i hate playing anything other than mages it was like the only class i could start with.
Really tough playing as a beginner, but i really learned my staff spells and got to 60! i can pretty much kill almost anything that kill-able like veterans mobs and all! (cant solo champions that are my level can any class do that? i use everything but after a min or 2 all my spells go on cd while the guy barely lost any health).
So since i want to upgrade my gear and all i was thinking of changing my playstyle! i really want to learn D/D cause i have been told its high skill cap really good in PVP WvW. But is it any good in dungeons cause i still would like to do them. Also what are some good build for D/D? I have been reading guides in the forums but they all are kinda outdated.

So i am a new player and i just realized there is no back category in the auction house…..why i mean its seems like a important part of my armor set……i did google and wiki and found words like “back” and other that i cant remember but they didn’t give me anything under level 45. I think it be neat to be able to search those items. Also maybe have a option to only search for armor for my class. I just think it be cool!

Good details as a regular Wow player this combat system is really new to me and is really hard to think of as no tanks no dps no healers. But knowing this early on will help me learn this as i progress and maybe die less

So for wow like player CC (crowd control can be think of as control)
Support is healing movement speed any buffs
Damage is anykind of damage dots!

i went to blackgate! i am having a hard time finding a good guild who will answer my question and help……..thanks i learned alot going to definally grab things for gathering…i already made dumb mistakes like picked krytan armor for my elemental……….oo well i guess my theif or someone else can wear it…….still learning alot leveling process going kinda slow……..story line is intresting kinda but hate how it just a level or 2 after each mission while it barely give me enough for 1/4 level….dying alot but i get naked so ++++ lol

So i am new to the game (downloading it currently) so i have so many questions! really appreciate some help!

1) I live in America (Missouri) which server would be best?
a) connection wise / strong pvp / pve / alot of people / friendly / people to help through leveling and active end game!
2) I have played wow before and my favorite class in almost every game has been MAGE i just love the BURST DAMAGE and magic always been Kool to me! i think there are many mage like classes which is the best one (i hate being support tanky and so on i like kill!!!!!!)
3) Are there any good hints i should know about money making / things that before i do i should think about / maybe things i can avoid (like dont spend money in shops in wow use the auction house)
