Would like to point that condi thief is more of a problem before they even touch ventari, you can out-rotate this build, also, in that video, the fact they 2v1’d for that long already means both of the players arent… Amazing. That game is also covering players from high-gold / low plat.

That build does nearly 0 damage, has almost no stability of its own, and is far more susceptible to condi damage than you imply. It has an extremely specific niche and roll, and it would help if you learned to play around it rather than flame on the forums.
I do think the build needs some adjustment, but so does your attitude and criticism of it.

You got top 10 by doing nothing, playing the most dumb build in this game atm, and all tablet revs run stab trait zzzz " It has an extremely specific niche and roll, and it would help if you learned to play around it " Please, all that rev tablet do is troll the game and make ppl angry, there’s no way to play around it since you can move and go to the team fights, you always gonna be there to win the game 1v5 cuz you have INFINITIVE HEALS and KNOCKBACK 450 RANGE EVERY 2 SECONDS. This build is just not supposed to be in the game since spvp is about capture points.

Would like to point out, zHasgard, ventari rev doesnt have infinitive healing, and the knockback is more like 4 secondas (more effcetful if you move tablet while exploding it). Im in legendary T2 currently and ive been playing the build both at its selfish level and team-fight capabilities, its an alternative ele. It has its pros/cons to it in team fight. So i wouldnt say this build “shouldnt exist”. The only adjusting it would need at all is only around the knokback.

Speaking as one of the best Ventari revs on NA, the problem most people have fighting this spec is the fact that they can’t contest the node / kill the ventari. The build can 2v1, even 3v1 (if opponent team is kitten dumb). If the ventari rev knows how to use kite spots, rotate through its cleanse/alacrity heal (both consuming roughly the same energy) it can’t be killed in a 1v1 and could easily stall a 2v1. I’ve had almost no problems facing s/d condi thiefs (1v1) on the build nor any other class/spec. In terms of relating it to necro… that is odd. Since necro is designed to do damage, Ventari isn’t. Engi also doesn’t have as much knockback/decap potential as Ventari rev (side-node potential). The elixir X is its fastest way to get the decap (which has a 50/50 chance) . Ventari also dishes out more healing as a whole compared to engi (terms of team fight). Ranger, again, does not compete against its knockback nor support capabilities that Ventari currently has. It can be seen as an alternative Ele if not every other ventari played it for its selfish decap potential (more recent post about the ventari pushing 1v3 and dieing instantly). It has its pros/cons compared to a support ele.

Scrapper
-Scrapper can do decent damage if you take Marauder/Paladin
-Scrapper can evade while doing leap finisher
-Scrapper can block and Scrapper can AoE stun
-Scrapper can remove condis and reduce incoming damage
-Scrapper can CC from 1500 distance
-Scrapper can go into stealth and reset the fight
-Scrapper can Revive and Finish from long range
-Scrapper have access to superspeed, protection,stability,lightning field and etc.
-Scrapper can heal back up very fast
-Scrapper can survive 2vs1 for very long time
- etc. etc. etc. etc.

Holosmith
- Holosmith can do High burst damage
- Holosmith can do High burst damage
- Holosmith can do High burst damage
- Holosmith can do High burst damage
- And what else??? Oh yeah!!! Holosmith can do High burst damage

But the other 8 class can also go for High burst damage build.

Scrapper can play many roles.

Holosmith cannot play bunker.
Holosmith cannot play support.
Holosmith cannot play assassin. (Daredevil and Herald are better assassins)

Firebrand is the second worst PoF elite spec
- Dragonhunter’s Wings of Resolve and Shield of Courage are way more valuable than those Firebrand Tomes.
- Dragonhunter Traps are way more useful and Firebrand Mantras are useless

Renegade is the third worst PoF elite spec
- Herald trait line and Dragon stance are way better
- I cannot find any reason to choose Renegade over Herald

All these new PoF elite spec are hard countered by Dagger/Pistol Daredevil
Dagger/Pistol Daredevil will stomp all these new PoF elite specs

Heart of Thorn elite spec are better for pvp
Path of Fire elite specs are fun to play but inferior in pvp

ok… no, Scrapper is not “stronger” than Holo. Simply cause Scrapper is a support spec for Engi. Scrapper has more sustain than Holo for sure, Final salvo, Rapid Regen, evade/blocks… but it does NOT do more damage than what Holo can output… Comparing you and your friend isn’t a solid answer for it, you could possibly just be better than your friend at engineer.

Scrapper also has better 1v1 potential (in that mu) just cause it has better sustain.

im not talking about pve were there are 100 people spamming 1 on a mob,

im talking about pvp 5v5. go apply 20 stacks in a pvp fight and come back and post here then you will understand what i am talking about

Herald isn’t a necessity. Yes the boons on it are nice and the panic heal. If you’re trying to make up the swiftness? Use Traveler/Lynx rune (if renegade hits meta, it’ll DEFINITLEY be using one of those two.) that already covers the mobility, for sustain? perhaps take up Retribution (if running Mallyx/Renegade) with corruption…. This at least allows you to have personal resistance(team resistance) in team fights and gives you reasonable toughness with you still being able to dish out condi dmg… What do you do if you’re getting focused? Kite spots (depending on node) / run towards your support.

So raids will be 16% harder… Ty for killing my motivation. Just made 6th viper set, so that when i do raid I would be fully geared nope.

Also with the addition of power precision ferocity AND condi damage gear, ty for combining that with viper. It’s a kill to my gear, as that Grievers gear (of what the name is) is new meta… Ty Anet.

So in conclusion: 100% condi duration (clearly meant to be achieved by lots of classes) is killed… ty so much anet. And you think power has just as good food? Power has some things that are really strong for it (like decreased stun duration) wich is useless for most condi. This change is just a overreaction to the current raid status. (and making raids actually worse).

Raids are balanced around 100% condi duration. Nerfing 16% condi duration (8% damage) means raids will take 8% longer/harder to do. Ty so much… Raid are even more elitist now. And guess what power ele will be risen again. ‘LFG lf 7 ele dps slots’. Bad job anet. Power food generally is better. Condi has only condition damage and condi duration.

the recipe to change these auras/cosmetics into infusions is requiring (x5 Mystic Crystal, x1 Coagulated Mist Essence, x1(Healing/Might/etc) +9 Agony infusion, and the cosmetic itself). I used the wiki for making the Polyluminscents into infusions, I assumed this same method for the following Chak Egg Sac and Queen bee (theory) and it seems the same items in making the Polys infusions also worked for these (yes I have the Chak egg sac and Queen bee to have tested it and can confirm)

Event information for Cursed Shore is spot on, definitely something for farmers to keep tabbed open for info on how events should be rotated and go-to when are others are down
