Same uplevel FA warrior using falling damage to repeatedly knock people over. It is hilarious. Except that it isn’t.
Yes, I have reported this via the exploits email address. But I think it’s important to note that people are very frustrated when this occurs and the feeling is that when the violators are reported using the in-game mechanism, for example for botting, nothing ever happens. Doesn’t matter how many people report it. Yes, I understand that ANET doesn’t care if 200 people report someone, but don’t they have an obligation to investigate it? If given the violator’s account name and description of the violation and the timeline that it was witnessed, you would think that it would be enough.
It seems that either an anet employee has to see it himself while in-game (which prolly won’t happen b/c the anet tag sticks out like a sore thumb), or there’s got to be irrefutable video proof (and even then, there’s no fast guarantee). Anything short of that, there’s no ban. The feeling is that it just doesn’t seem like it’s a priority for ANET to investigate these reports.
The first time I encountered this FA hacker was when I was on a catapult hitting Garri, when all of a sudden, I was repeatedly getting knocked around by this falling uplvl warrior, pushing me all the way to the cliff. This hacker continued to do this to other players for many hours in plain sight in front of scores of players, even after multiple people have reported him on both servers. It totally ruins the game experience when this sort of thing is allowed to continue.

Generally, I don’t do duels myself and have a “if it’s red, it’s dead” rule. However, if I see 2 individuals going at it and it’s obviously a duel (either due to the location or others just standing by watching), I will respect it and move on. No big deal.
With that said, those individuals who like to engage in duels in front of our keep, or basically between our Keep and SM, screw you. You getting mad at me or others for interrupting your duel is stupidity. I come back again 10-15 minutes later, and you’re still there trying to engage in a duel in between the Keep and SM? Really???
If I kill the other player, you get mad at me for messing up your duel, and if I die, you don’t rez and tell me “that’s what you get.” How about you stop dueling in a high traffic area like between the Keep and SM? Use some common sense.
I know you like to have an audience watching you, but nobody likes to feel like an kitten for interrupting you. Plenty of places in the BLs. And some places in EB – if you gravitate towards the edges of the map, less people will see you and there will be more of a likelihood that people will be able to recognize what you are doing.

I’m talking about the typical every 2 weeks on a Tuesday type of update. I’m asking because my internet provider has changed temporarily and I’m now limited to how much bandwidth I can download per month. It’s just a temporarily situation, but I wanted to know.
You never know when you’re going to run into an unexpected cliff or random hole in the ground to gain those bonuses while in the middle of battle.
Nothing says “fun,” more than a face full of lead. Also, people just aren’t used to countering such a build. Throw in traps in there, and people get even more confused (What?! A thief that uses traps!). Seeing a thief, the enemy thinks one thing, and you’re giving them another thing.
The best part of downing guys is when they party up with you and start to rage afterwards. I’ve had one guy tell me that I was just “another condi thief cheese.” Little did he know that my armor/weapons contained no condi dmg, and that I was a Power based P/P build.
If you use such a build, be prepared for the occasional hate. I’ve had my share of a few “pro” players telling me how awful I am….. after I had killed them. I remind them to tell all their friends and guildies that they just got stomped by a terribad P/P thief. They usually can’t come back from that and block me after that. Oh, the tears! So juicy!!
Yes, no mobility, not meta, fail build, etc etc. I just play it for fun and entertainment. Enjoy the Vids below.
ps I use P/P as my primary weapon set, and D/P as my 2nd set, with Superior Runes of the Trapper to surprise people with.

-Even though I have told others to “ignore the trolls,” I don’t follow this advice myself.
-I think the Black Lion Key purchase for gems is a complete rip off. But yet I find myself buying the keys when they are on sale on occasion. And I never use the various boosters. In fact, I have a large collection with scores of boosters just sitting in my bank because I never use them.
-I build characters to purposely run against the “meta” just because. For example, I main a dual pistol thief. What’s on my 2nd weapon set? Another dual pistol set (the first set is just for stacking). I also have a bearbow Ranger, but without the bear or bow part.
-In wvw, certain commanders will say “Don’t Rez,” during zerg fights with the enemy. I go out of my way to purposely rez as many allies as possible when commanders say this. And yes, sometimes I die doing so.
-I used to say “Thank You,” whenever I get rezzed 100% of the time. Nowadays, it’s more like 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time, I feel terrible inside for not saying “ty.”
-In wvw, I hate thieves. When I am on my thief, sometimes I hate myself.
-In wvw, when I’m on my Mesmer and trying to hide inside a keep/tower, so that I can ninja portal later, I secretly hate all my allies who are warriors/necros/guards/[insert any class here]; who stick around and expose my hiding areas. But I don’t say anything to them, I just rage quit privately for 2 minutes then come back.
-In wvw, when I am in a keep with 500 supply and there are more dolys with supplies coming in, I will sometimes Order Merchants so that supply isn’t wasted. I only do this when I am alone, and there are no other allies in the keep to watch me do it. Also, because I am cheap (I play wvw exclusively, and don’t make gold).
-Did I mention that I hate trolls? Sometimes, I wish I can meet them in person just so that I can punch them in the face. But for some reason, I also secretly want to be their friend. Is that weird?
-I am the biggest forum lurker of all time. I have been lurking on these forums for quite a while and read it on a daily basis, but this is my very first post ever.
