I for one would be amazed if we hear anything about this from ANet/NC Soft people in 2015
But I would buy the game obviously – I still listen to all the GW1 soundtracks regularly

Yeah it would definitely have been nice to have similarities

Also evolution doesn’t really take place in 250 years – not to this scale

I think the issue is that even if you find a party, there is a 1/5 chance basically that you won’t get to watch the story with your character as the leader

And that is really disappointing

Granted the end of the story sucks anyway so…

I preferred Elona actually because it was completely unique
There are still no games that have african themes done to that quality and depth

That concept art that was posted is beautiful

If GW2 had fewer skills for better balance though, why isn’t it balanced? There is still a meta with professions that are thrown to the wayside in certain aspects of the game.

I hated Cantha first time round….but…the potential to see Kaineng in all its glory in GW2 could be something special. The Jade Sea in the fractals looked awful though…so I could (sadly) leave that.

In GW1, we got hints that the Jade Sea and the Echovald Forest were showing signs of melting/reviving. If we ever get to see those areas, I really wish them to not be solidified.

Ooh or imagine if the jade didn’t all melt so you had a sea with mountains of jade (relative mountains assuming that the water level dropped)

That said, I’d love going into a different continent just so that we could experience other cultures than just Europe. I think that was one of the reasons I loved Nightfall so much. No other MMO went so deep into an african/arabian world. It was such a breath of fresh air, and it was amazing!

Just that it would get to the level 80 amount for people who have around 5000 achievement points or something

For the people who say that having high AP would be detrimental, isn’t that the same thing with leveling your character?

I think that waypoint costs should be based on achievement points instead of level. Right now they increase in cost as you get to a higher level. This means that someone who has 1000 gold and all the legendaries on one character (and thus a ton of achievement points) will pay a couple copper for a new character waypointing. This is in spite of the fact that they would have access to the shared wallet across characters. Conversely a first time level 80 who doesn’t have a ton of resources at their disposal would have to pay much more.

This applies to other gold sinks as well

After the new build I’m having the same problem again… Tried all the fixes mentioned multiple times and none of them are working

It randomly worked so hopefully it stays that way

I ship personal story character and Faren so hard. Faren is just so fabulous, I love him to much.

Here’s the thing about Faren. He’s obviously gay. The problem is that he comes from an extremely rich family and doesn’t want to risk a life of luxury and lordship by coming out. Thus he stays in the closet constantly trying to have people think he’s straight by asking about girls and stuff. However when he tells the personal story character to refer him to ladies it’s so that he can be their friend and get to know their brothers.

That’s a good idea!

Here’s my idea for it
Start traits at level 11 again
Add one more tier to make it so that people can continue to add traits through level 80
Keep unlocks but have them be stuff that is more relevant to levels

Eliminate the annoying train and let people do their stuff in the map

Well for Mac users the f keys change brightness and don’t activate those skills so it’s good to rebind them unless you click skills to activate them

Also guys remember that a while back, someone from Nexon was added to the team to help with the cash shop. That alone should be a huge warning.
