Oh wow just logged in and found him… at least one lucky moment this weekend
Hi guys,
the last thing I need for the Collection “The Predator III: The Hunter” is to kill Captain Wiley. But I have problems finding him. I read on the wiki, that he should be in his cove, when his event isn’t running. But I never find him in his cove. I also tried to wait, until his event (or rather pre event) starts…. but it didn’t start, after I waited over 2 hours at the sunken ship…
I don’t know if his respawn times are really that long or if it’s just buggy. I hope someone help me..
You don’t need to camp in FT all the time to gain the full Might stacks out of it. Just swap to the weapon or another kit between the intervals and do your bursts, than swap back before the next interval and you still get the boons.
Ah yeah I see. Thx for the clarification. Hm.. with perma stability you would get 5 stacks of Might extra and with boon duration 7+
Not bad…
And as with the Juggernaut trait, having such a low might duration/might generation ratio means every second you spend outside of flamethrower you will keep losing might stacks. It’s not good for a frontline build at all
Actually u can swap out of the Flamethrower between the Might intervalls and swap back in just before you get the next stacks so it still applies the boons.
EDIT: I misunderstood the trait… see posts below
When I first read about the trait I (maybe all of us) saw the nice synergy with Flamethrower + Juggernaut trait. But now when I look at the actual numbers, I’m a little bit underwhelmed.
It only gives you 1 stack of Might for 5 s.
The Juggernaut trait has a 3 s interval, so in the end you will just have 2 extra stacks, with Might/Boon duration maybe 3.
The Stability form the Scrapper GM trait Perfectly Weighted has also kitten ICD.
In my opinion the might duration from Mass Momentum should be increased or give it more stacks.
But on the other side this trait also has a stat conversation (10 % Toughness to Power) and if you compare it to another Engineer Master trait Pinpoint Distribution… well this has only a 10 % conversation…
I don’t know guys. What is your opinion this?

… If they ever swap out of flamethrower, they will have a temporary gap in stability, so keep watch.
Actually, no. You can swap out and back in without a boon gap. Just swap out, after you recieved the boons and swap back to FT just before the next boon interval. The Trait seems to work kinda like this: Swap to FT → activate Trait → check every 3s wether or not FT is equiped → [yes → grant might and stability | no → deactivate trait]
It ticks every second. You will still deal the same damage/second. Condition duration only increases the duration of the Condition… so you will get more ticks, but the dmg per second remains the same.
And you have to keep in mind, that you will only get a extra tick, if you longer the duration to a full second.
So 1s of burn does the same dmg as 1,5s of burn in total, because both only tick once.
But if you apply two times a 1,5s burn you get a 3s burn and therefore 3 ticks of burning.
You can buy it for 20 Skill Points and 3 gold, even if yo are not lvl 80.
But then what happens when you create a second necromancer just to crush new players? Sure, your MMR would settle after five games or so. But then you could just create another necro, and another and another…all in search of that lucky 20-game winning streak to hit #1 on the leaderboards…
We need more separation between experienced/pro players and new/casual players, not less separation.
So separate the MMR class-dependently. We already have statistics sorted by classes.
Why not just do away with stat cominations all together? Create armour with three sockets, one primary and two secondary. Replace stat combinations with runestones or gems. Each stat has two gems, a primary and a secondary gem. Socketing any gem of a specific type prevents others of that type being used.
Essentially the same system as now but instead of creating recipes and dozens of acquisition methods (as well as unfairly forcing players who want specific combinations to participate in inflated markets – zealots, sentinals etc) all you have to do is create two gems of every stat and players can customise it themselves.
The system we have now is needlessly restrictive.
This!
Additionally this could be a reason to take jewelcrafting up to 500, too.
But in PvP you need more than 3 sockets in our lonely amulet.
Hi everyone,
so… for the rifle there are 4 traits int the Firearmes trait line: Rifled Barrels, Hair Trigger, Rifle Mod and Go for the Eyes
Even if you use 3 traits in one trait line you won’t have the full potentail of one weapon.
In comparison to other classes there are many weapon traits that include CDR + another useful effect, i. e. Merciless Hammer, Cleansing Conflagration or Axe Training.
So why isn’t this used on the engi traits? You can provide more opportunities for rifle builds if you merge these traits.
What do others think about this?
