I had the same bug as Cancor (probably) the first time I did this mission.
After killing 3 minotaurs there were no more to be found and it all stalled out.
Second time around (after relogging), I noticed a 4th minotaur being killed by NPCs and I got a few hits in on it before it died. Then I could progress.
So my guess is: if you let a minotaur die without touching it, you’ll get stuck. Or maybe that 4th one was stuck in a wall the first time. :P

Yep. Me too. First line of dialogue from every NPC in every cutscene. If the NPC is the first speaker. If my character says something first, everything’s fine.
This is not a new bug IIRC. It happened during one of the BWEs as well.

am I among the few who thinks that perhaps A-net changed the drops and availiblity because they don’t want people to simply power level crafting professions? maybe they WANT us to take it slow and work at getting stuff instead of learning what waypoints to port to to buy stuff the cheapest?
Have you read the thread? There are several balanced viewpoints saying that yes, some things in cooking needed tweaking, but this massive set of nerfs is over-reacting from the devs part. Unfortunately a very common occurence in MMOs.
I would just like to add my voice to the sentiments expressed in this thread. Most of the recent changes to cooking are very poorly though out.
While we’re sort of on the subject, I’d like to point out another issue for crafters in general: they made all the recipes from heart completion karma vendors soulbound. They used to be account bound, which meant that as long as one of my characters had done a particular heart, I could get the recipe for another character with the craft. Now all crafters have to run around the world grinding hearts if they want to be completists. Not fun.
I would also really, really, really prefer it to be the first one. Because if it’s not, it means every crafter has to grind every heart in every zone to get all recipes.
But what with the other big crafting nerf (cooking ingredients) I’ve got the sinking feeling it’s no 2….
I am facing the same problem, but I made my own workaround using “World of Warcraft®: Cataclysm™ MMO Gaming Mouse” software with the assignment of predefined Wow commands, for example you could assign wow action butons 1-10 to your mouse buttons.
It isn’t a solution, but will solve the problem!
Thank you. That workaround made my day.
Well, when I logged on to these forums from work I had to authorize the location, so I assume that means the email that request was sent to already is authorized.
So do that: log onto the site from a different location and see what happens.
But there’s no information on your account page that will tell you, if that’s what you mean.
Thanks for the tip, but:
A) Mapping buttons to keys is all that the steelseries software does, too. Well, there’s ingame support for WoW, but that’s never helped in other games, and they have all worked fine with just reading button presses as keys.
B) That software you linked only supports up to 5 buttons as far as I can tell. GW2 recognizes the first 5 just fine, since it seems to assume that mice have up to 5. It’s the remaining 9 that concern me.
Someone else suggested that Arenanet is blocking these mice, intentionally or not, since the game is reading the commands as macros (which they are – my steelseries software can record more complex combinations than the simple key presses I use it for) and thinks it’s a bot. But without any confirmation it’s hard to be sure what’s going on.
That won’t help, I think. My WoW Cataclysm Mouse worked perfectly back in BWE1, but in the next test it stopped working and hasn’t worked since. Other people with multi-button mice (like Nagas) also complained on the old beta forums about this. We never got a reply.
Oh and BTW, there ARE no newer drivers than what I have for my mouse.
