I’ve done this many times successfully with pugs. Maybe you just have bad luck. That or your groups just plain suck. It’s a simple division of assets. Put two people at the harder/farther sections and one at the closest. Once you get it down you can do it in one attempt. I hardly think your innability to promote teamwork and complete a challenge is Arenanet’s fault.
Going in to Guild Wars 2 I was not enthusiastic about the dungeon content. While the environment itself was superb I felt as though concrete mechanics were unrefined if not non-existant and that enemies were simply generic NPCs. Fractals have changed my outlook entirely. I feel like Arenanet really knocked it out of the park with these instances. Each one has its own personality complete with environmental hazards, traps, jumping hazards, scale worthy bosses, Mechanics that compliment rather than rely on smaller NPCs, and to top it all off Anet has blown detail out of the water yet again. For the first time I feel like I’m playing GW2 worthy dungeons. How was your experience.
I got disconnected during the last leg, was unable to log back on, and lost my loot as well.
Absolutely. I’ve logged hundreds of hours in the game and with the Halloween event coming up I see no reason to stop. While I appreciate the HUGE amount of well made content that we get for 60 dollars (after most of the kinks were worked out) I feel like substantial PvE content not unlike a raiding system needs to be added. It would promote community and give players a sense of direction once they hit level 80 and complete Orr. PvP is exceptional but it’s not for everyone and those people need a unified clear direction for PvE outside of farming dungeons for gear.
