Myself and many guildies have been noticing the lag spikes since yesterday. Just logged in to see how it was and it was even worst today. Something needs to be done soon.

I have had two or three moments when I have be silenced from [map] and [say] chat for excessive messaging when trying to answer a question or say thank you. This has happened to a few of my friends as well. During these moments I have only said about five or six things in one or both of them over a span of 30 min or more. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if anyone knew what causes it to happen when you are not being excessive or what the game thinks is excessive.

Yeah, I’ve been having problems with it for a while now. A week ago it would try to search every time I would type a letter. Now it doesn’t search at all.

Got the same problem. The first character didn’t get the present.
Also he didn’t get the HoM-teleporter.
Last but not least: When I bought the Digital Deluxe-Upgrade with this char, he was the only one who didn’t have the mistfire-wolf unlocked.

I would send in a support ticket about the Mistfire Wolf thing if you haven’t already.

I’m having this problem as well. Just waiting to see if it will show up in a few days.

I assumed it was corrupted by Scarlet and that eventually we would receive the original and a corrupted watchnight mini back as compensation for defeating her.

Now that would be a cool idea.

Here’s what I think happened. After the update, when I first logged into the character selection screen, all achievements were 0/*. Looks like the system removed all banked watchknights since your system “thought” it had not been achieved upon login. My selection screen now shows the correct achievements, but still no watchknight. Please get this fixed ASAP.

I noticed that to when I logged in as well.

I’m having the same problem. Went to Mists so I could warp to LA and saw him there so I talked to him to get it and didn’t get anything. Says he gave me something in both Mists and LA though.

Edit: I checked back in later today and even though it was open I was able to get the gift from the chest in the Mists but not in LA. At the time I didn’t know there was a PvE and a PvP gift so I talked to the first Tixx I saw. If getting one means losing the other I would never had talked to him in the Mists as I play a lot more PvE than PvP. Hopefully the rest of you will be able to get your missing gift soon and I hope it’s the one that you really wanted.

I don’t see them ever doing wipes for them as the achievements are account bound. If they didn’t wipe but had a tab to toggle between the achievements both finished and non-finished vs what your account or character has only finished, maybe. Maybe even 3 of them. One finished, one non-finished one, and one with both. Could be an opts toggle if they ever did that. Would you like it better if they did that?

Any chance the areas you find in the CM dungeon both story mode and explorable mode a part of this?

I have done that to see if it works and it didn’t for me. Was at 171/178 before trying and was still 171/178 afterwords. However, in a different post some people said they had more areas discovered after they did some of the story quests. It could be that even though most of us have 100% in each zone for Kryta the story quests might take us to a place that you can’t get to by running around on the map.

I have to agree. Every time I get to the arena 3-6 people are camping the top so you can’t get past. I really enjoy the jumping puzzles but the WvW ones being as they are right now make it hard to have fun.

I do like your the idea of booting people from the puzzle if they’ve finished it and not having siege weapons there. Thought of some others that could work too.
1) Once you’ve had so many player kills it boots you from the puzzle and you have to wait before you can go back in.
2) They could give us another mystic fountain around the darkroom so we can get past the arena if someone is camping the top.
3) Mystic Fountain affect could last longer or (for people who haven’t beaten it the first time) be infinite for the puzzle.
4) Traps use charges to work and players only have so many during the puzzle.
5) If not #4 make it so players get a charge every time they use a trap and after so many charges they are hit with an AoE attack that could kill or paralyze all allies within range.

I think Yackeroeni is right. Doing everything on the map in a zone isn’t bad because you can see on the left side what you have left and discover most of the areas at the same time. The only issue I see is if the 100% mapping uses both counters as you can’t tell how many areas there are to discover in each zone. I, myself, have 100% all of Kryta’s zones for the poi’s, hearts, vistas, skill points, and waypoints and Krytan Explorer says I still have undiscovered areas.

What everyone has said before I feel are some of the best ways to go. I use these tactics based on what I am doing. One thing I like to do is have one pet better for offense and the other for defense (Fern Hound and Blue Moa are great for helping you and groups). I also use the Beastmaster trait that increases their attributes by 1 for very kill until 25.

This happened to me today. Bought my first character slot expansion and when I backed out to character selection it showed that I had 4 new character slots.
