After some further research it seems that a full on Tank build isn’t viable for end-game PvE. A Damage/survivability build seems like it is where I need to go.

I was hoping some of you could point me in the right direction. I am looking to make a Warrior Tank for End-Game PvE and had a few questions.

- What is the optimal gear set/gear set combinations? Is there a specific Exploration Dungeon I should be running that has the best Tank gear from tokens?

- What build is optimal for Tanking? Mostly Fractals and Exploration Dungeons.

- Obviously Shield will be a component, but what goes in the main hand?

Any other advice as far as tanking goes would be appreciated.

Hello Warrior (and GW2) Community!

I have been level 80 for a bit now. I seem to be at a bit of a loss as to where to go from here. If you will indulge me I have a few questions.

What would be the best way for me to farm the materials needed for the Ascended Weapons?

Do you recommend I Fractal grind? And if so where do I obtain Agony Resistance gear?

I have noticed for PvE end-game most Warriors use a Greatsword, but are the other options such as Greathammer viable?

And any advice for a Warrior looking to get pretty hardcore into the end-game would be appreciated. Thanks for reading and thanks for the replies!
