100% world completion bug?

I have tried everythng even the Chnatry of Secrets and I’ve got nothing. When I got 100
% I got an empty reward chest with only XP in it and the Acheivement yet I don’t have the Title, or the symbol by my name or the item required for legendary. It says 100% when I open my Map an on the Character select screen. Nothing is missing from the list on the world map. I have done all the dungeons….. any other tricks anyone has tried out?

Wardrobe and Weapon Growth

Just curious if anyone has thought about a new wardrobe system where collecting gear would be more worth it…. transferring stats causes you to lose the gear so changing looks isnt fun if you are switching between COF set and AC set.

Also an option to make it so weapons don’t grow 3 times their size would be awesome. On my ranger the Greatsword looks perfect is his back and I pull it out and it is HUGE! Not sure what determines this because my Norn Guardian doesn’t seem to have this problem.

None of these will make me stop playing the game FYI…. im still very much enjoying it.

Is it still bugged for anyone else? I have done everything that anyone has ever done that has unbugged it and I still haven’t gotten my rewards.

Is there something im missing? I have already gone to the Whisperer’s hideout several times and do it almost every sinlge time I log in.

GS defensive crit build

I was thinking about going with a full set of knights exotic crafted armor to stack power,vit, and toughness. Im pretty sure that is knights.

As for my accesories they would all be berserkers or rampagers, not online right now and cant remember the precision one but that is where my crite would come from.

As for my spec, i was thinking of going 0/20/20/30/0 I would go with a greatsword and for the 30 point trait I would get the buff that gives might every time i crit.

Sorry this is so vauge, in a hurry right now and just want to know if this would be any good. My brother runs something similar and he can go 1v2 and sometimes 1v3 in wvw and win.

New System to Wardrobe Armor

Right now it is completely pointless for me to collect new sets of gear. I currently have level 80 exotic armor with my desired stats and I really don’t want to make 5 sets if I want 5 different sets of cosmetic armor. Is there any plans for a wardrobe system similar to Rift? Maybe make it so we don’t lose the skin of armor if we add the stats to a new piece of gear?

If anyone has any news on this please let me know…. if not now we have a pretty good suggestion.

Player Housing?

Anyone know of any information about anet adding player housing or guild housing?

Rift’s Dimensions look very interesting and EQ2 housing was amazing!

I think the humans feet are too small and with the build you went with it looks bad because you have chicken legs…… proportions are all wrong and short humans are small humans if you know what i mean. I isn’t even a difference in heigh but scale.

Is it possible to make it so they don’t grow to an enormous size when you pull out a greatsword? It is the perfect size in the back of my Human Ranger and then when I pull it out it looks kind of strange. Is it possible that you can add an option so it doesn’t grow? I would prefer to have it the same size that it is in my back.

I believe that yous hould greatly reduce the cost of travelling using waypoints, specially since we dont have mounts or any kind of cheap way to move fast over large places. It is also ridiculous that when you die being in a PvE map you not only have to pay for repairs of your armor but also pay for the waypoint revival.
Its just a bit too unfair, specially for LV 80s travelling even between short distances can cost 1.5 silvers, its ridiculous.
This costs wouldnt be a an issue if getting money in the game was easier, or if monsters would drop bigger ammounts of money, or if events gave better rewards, or chests in dungeons would drop better items. But since getting money is literally a big pain in the behind, having to pay at least 1.5 silver for the shortest waypoint travel is ridiculous. Sometimes you have to pay around 3.5 silver or even 4 silver if you are going far away.

I too feel like the waypoint fees are excessive. I have made a lot of gold in GW2 but it was difficult. No matter how much I have I always think about the cost. It cost me almost 5 silver to get from one side of the world to the next. Sometimes I don’t want to do events I just want to farm trash mobs for loot but I can’t. It is scripted in the game to start dropping less loot if you are killing the same mob. Most of the mobs in Orr are the same type of mob so it is difficult to farm there. Also events give just under 2 silver and when I port across the map to get to an event before it ends I make hardly any money because it cost me everything I just earned to teleport there.

If you would stop teleporting and look at how much more money you save you would understand that the cost is high. The opinion on this matter is split, I however think that a lot of people just don’t realize how much they are spending on this.

More Numbers Please

I don’t know if its just me or what but I love to have numbers in video games. I like numbers and specific amounts on abilities and everything.

When mousing over your toughness I really would like to see how much damage is mitigated by it. For examples, 1000 toughness mitigates 10% or whatever the amount is. I feel like a lot is being hidden from us in this aspect.

Another thing I don’t like is how many of my traits and abilities just arent specific enough. For the Guardain we have a trait “Greatsword Attacks Heal You” Is it possible to get it at allm more specific? How much do they heal you? Is it all attacks?

I don’t neccesarily want a wall of text on the ability I just want more numbers to know if it is worth it or not. I know you can test it on a dummy but with the passive regen and everything else going on with the guardian it is hard to see what is healing you for what.

I really would just like to see more numbers behind what is going on so that I can get a better feel for it. Some players may not like this so adding an option to disable more detailed texts would be nice to have for those that just want a general discription.

Darkness Falls Type Dungeon

Just something that was in DAOC that was really fun and gave us all a lot of incentive to go to WvW but say whoever owns the center keep of the eternal battlegrounds gets to unlock a special open dungeon for everyone on that server. Kind of like DF in DAoC.

The dungeon would be huge, almost like another zone but it would be filled with monsters that require large amounts of people or just small groups. With this you could add a whole new token system and cosmetic rewards for killing the monsters within this dungeon.

How is the Guardians Damage?

For guardian, no matter what you do, you will support others in some form or another. It’s stapled to the class.

Virtues are about the only thing that I use that support other players and if someone runs into my staff #3 ability to get the sprint. That is all the support I have as a DPS Guardian.

Back to the original post:

Guardians can do great damage. Speaking from experience on my level 80 guardian. I have ran explorable mode dungeons and tons of WvW. Im able to 1v1 someone down pretty quickly and efficiently. However there is a set back. Having more than one person on you at a time which is very often in WvW you tend to take a lot of damage and you have a pretty small health pool compared to other classes.

The weapon sets I find to the the most damage are the greatsword and the sword/torch combo. That is all out damage. The Hammer offers nice utility though and does good damage though I feel it doesn’t have the mobility that I would like it to have, It seems to lack on the gap closers for me.

Right now, I use the staff in my offhand to stop people with the number 5 ability and the number 3 ability as my sprint to get around. Other than that I just roll around with a greatsword and try to do as much damage as possible. While the damage they do isnt as bursty as the warriors “Hundred Blades” it is still very good.

Break down the Polearm like they did in DAOC

-Slash Polearm (Looks like a Halberd)
-Thrust Polearm (More like a Spear)
-Crush Polearm (A warhammer on a stick)

Google some pictures of these to get a good look at them.

3 different weapon types right there.

*2 handed battleaxe for sure needs to be in an expansion soon.

*Crossbows that would be 2 handed.

*Fist weapons would be a nice addition.

I don’t know why everyone wants an unarmed fighting style, it reminds me so much of Mists of Pandaria and I’m trying so hard to get away from all of that.

As stated above, the katan and all other weapons based in asian culture would probably fit under the other categories. I personally loved the katana looking weapons in world of warcraft.

So over all the ones that I would like to see most are…..

-2 hand axe
-crossbow
-polearm (Broken down into 3 types for more variety)
-fist weapons

Try using a Staff, Save Yourselves!, or Retreat!

Staff is not my weapon (s) of choice for combat situations.

Speed is nice when not in combat, retreat is terrible utility unless you are just running and not fighting

Save yourself is nice but it has a long CD. 10% really isnt that much. Just an idea.

Once again, im not trying to complain. Just thought it would be kind of cool.

Just something that I think would be cool. Having a virtue that increases movement speed. Passive buff would be 10-15% and when used it would give you a allies around you a burst of swiftness 33% for x amount of time. They would be a Skald/Paladin mix from Daoc.

First of, im not here to dig on the game, I love it and mostly everything about it. One thing I have noticed though is the lag in WvW. I know there is a lot of people and my computer isn’t an issue.

I was involved in many large scale battles in all three BWE with little to no lag at all. When the game release I restrained myself from playing WvW because I loved it so much I thought I might not stop. So when I hit level 80 I go to WvW. Its going good and as soon as I get involved in any battle, whether it be a 5v5v5 or more or less it gets super laggy.

Have they done something to WvW since the last beta that has caused it to lag signicicantly more? Is anyone else experienceing this issue?

Last of all, I noticed that some people arent loading up like they all used to. I ran into a group of 4 people with 2 of my buddies and when we got into the fight 6 more people were chilling behind them. None of our screens loaded them up until we were too close.

Once again, I didn’t come here to bash the game. So please don’t get defensive over this post. I just want to know if anyone has had any of these problems or if anyone has any answers.
