We now accept players of all ages and are a multi-server guild! We are a group of players banding together to have fun across all parts of the game. We are actively recruiting new players to join with us to have some fun!
We are frequently in WvW, but you will just as likely find us getting the world events done, or jumping the puzzles throughout the game. We have a strong sense of community with each other. We run some events monthly, like Hide and Seek, and a Lottery, and other events weekly like the Guild Missions. We do WvW Missions on Wednesday night, PvP missions on Thursday nights, and PvE missions on Saturday Nights. We have a Raid group that plays on Sunday afternoons as well. We have a Mumble Server, but we are testing out Discord with the possibility of transitioning to it as our voice server.
We are a casual, fun loving group of people who enjoy hanging out on our voice server and playing the game! You will find us goofing off in our Guild Arena and messing with each other, i.e. killing each other with the various fun upgrades there, and climbing in the clouds at the top of our guild hall to explore what is above it all! We would love to have you join us in our play!

For the last few weeks this has been a major issue. Part of it is that the season, though lackluster is going on, but the other part is simply a mechanic issue.
When we queue up for a mission, we have the counter for queue count toward the mission timer. The new system tries to match groups with groups and so the queue time is even longer than it always has been. If queue’s didn’t count toward the mission it wouldn’t be a big issue other than an annoyance, but, it does count and so the mission timer simply isn’t long enough when having the variable of queue counting in the time, and the availability of getting another group to compete against making the timer itself the obstacle more than whether we win or lose a match.
We need to really see some serious change with this because the length of time in queue for missions is long and pretty much eats up the time for a mission making the mission impossible to get done.
Okay, good. I had put a report in via the game, but wanted to log it here. Since you all are fixing it, I won’t chime in any more than this.
Hi mangolemonade! I too am a gw1 player. I say am because my account is still active and I hop in there to open my b-day presents on my toons!
You have gotten some good responses to your post, so that is awesome! I thought I would give you one more guild to consider. My guild is HOPE! The quest stands upon the edge of a knife, stray but a little and it will fail. But Hope Remains, if friends stay true. — J.R.R. Tolkien
Our guild hall is Gilded Hollow, and it is currently level 52. If you have HoT then you can access all the functionality of it. If you do not have HoT, then you won’t be able to access the tavern buffs, enter the Arena to play, or do several other things as Guild Halls are a HoT mechanic.
We use Mumble for coordination and chat, do weekly missions, and love to help people learn the game and enjoy it like we do. We are a PvX guild with plenty to do for everyone! We have our website so you can check us out a bit more and an extremely active FB page.

Add me to your contacts list in game if you like and whisper me with any questions. That includes if you have one and you don’t join my guild. I like to help players. You might find me mentored up sometimes in LA just answering questions from players in general.
Looks like you have a lot to choose from! That is always great. I will throw my ring in the hat. We are HOPE. The quest stands upon the edge of a knife, stray but a little and it will fail. But Hope Remains, if friends stay true. — J.R.R. Tolkien
We have a level 52 guild hall with most of the bells and whistles, love helping new players love the game like we do, and use Mumble for coordination and general chat. We are a Crystal Desert guild, but our players are multi-server. Most of our players are NA, but not all. We have players with us from all around the world including Denmark. You can check us out on our website. http://hoperemainsgw2.guildlaunch.com/index.php?gid=425314
We also have a very actice FB page as well.
Hopefully you find the right fit for you. You are welcome to reach out to me ingame and ask questions regardless of whether you are in my guild. I like to help ppl. Add me to your contacts list and drop me a whisper!

Our current play time involves all areas of the game. We are involved in PvE, have some PvP players including those who are participating in the League, and WvW players. We use Mumble for talk and coordination of activities. Most of us have HoT, but not all, so if you are still waiting to buy it you will find people who are in your boat to do plenty of Tyrian things with.
To be honest, most of us are a bunch of nuts, the good kind though. If you are looking for a great group of people to play with, laugh with, and have fun with, please consider us!
Guild Schedule of Activities:
Thursday: 730p central PvP Missions
Friday: 8p central WvW Missions
Saturday: 730p central PvE Missions
Raid Schedule is currently flexible while we figure out the best time to host them.
Games we play: Hide and Seek every month but July. Lottery Every month. April will see the first semi-annual Battle Royale in our Guild Arena. This will be a month long event with one winner at the end to take the crown and bragging rights until the next battle!

We unlocked this a few days ago. We were super excited. After all we were hoping this might unlock additional building options, new work lists, etc… We were not sure what to expect, but we are a curious bunch.
We were not majorly disappointed, because it is cool back there. We didn’t get anything additional added to the hall, but there sure are a lot of building currently operating as rubble piles, and doors we cannot get through. We found the JP and that was fun.
We are looking forward to having more than the map opened up.
Also, can we get a loot chest leadership can put out for the guild members that we can populate with loot for reaching a place like the JP?
Finally I want to mention the treasure vault. It would be really cool to have some kind of upgrade there where in the middle of the vault is a loot chest guildies can loot once a day to get something cool out of it. It would be sitting right in the middle of all that gold loot and would fit so well!
I discovered yesterday while in WvW that an upgrade we did fairly early on was not producing the result it had at first. It was the +5 Supply. We did the upgrade, spending mats, and favor, and were excited when we claimed our first camp way back when and everyone could get that extra supply. We had noticed recently that camps we claimed are not producing the extra supply anymore. As a guild leader and the one who did the original upgrade, I investigated and found out that that upgrade is gone from the first tier, now part of the second tier along with an objective aura and under vitality.
What happened? We weren’t told about a decision to change this mechanic, and we did not get back the favor we spent or the mats we deposited. We also feel bad because we were claiming camps based on this upgrade and just found out we don’t have it anymore. Clarity on this would be greatly appreciated.
For the last month or so I have been upgrading the Arena in my Guild Hall. We are now level 38. I just added the Ring Out Barrier yesterday. We have been unable to use any of our obstacles since right after a guild event we had when we only had walls and used them to create barriers in fighting. The Ring Out Barrier Works. I can turn it on and off, no problem. When I get to the floor of the arena with the icon above my head, I click on the list of items I can deploy and for a second the number 1 button that should go to a shovel pops up and then it goes away to the icon that shows you have nothing to deploy. I have checked all of the activated items and it is the same for all of them. I put a bug ticket in a few weeks ago along with a screen shot. When will this be fixed? We are upgrading it but are unable to use all of the fun things we are upgrading!
I have also been having the same issue. I put in a ticket for it, but so far it has not been fixed.
For the last 2 weeks my guild has run into a problem with this cap on favor. We have all but 1 of the mission slots available to us, the one lacking is when we hit level 40. We are 33 now so its not too far off. This cap means we cannot do all of our missions in a given week because there is a favor cap on them. We did 5 missions last night and we lost 250 of the favor for we would have gotten from that 5th mission because of the cap. I think that bank of favor needs to be higher both on a weekly basis and overall. Of the two I think the weekly cap is more important right now. My guild likes to do the missions. Everyone wants to have the commendations. We actually have a guild missions night and its a huge activity to build community for us! I am asking, please raise that weekly favor cap to a more reasonable number!
This is the second post about the same subject, so I will chime in here as well. I am a GL for Hope Remains, and the upgrade I did on Mine capacity should have leveled us to 30. The upgrade worked, but it did not level the guild. Our Aetherium was maxed so I had to do the upgrade to prevent wasted time. Its showing at 5890/5890. My question is the same as everyone else, do we continue to build, or wait until this problem is fixed?
I agree about hesitating about doing upgrades. The upgrade I did would have bumped HOPE to level 30, but its stuck at the 5890. The upgrade is going on, we just didn’t get credit for it and I am not sure if I should upgrade anything else until its fixed. Since the guild favor is capped at 6,000 and we have our missions to do this week. I hope its fixed soon. Its really a progress halter.
I just upgraded our mine capacity and it should have leveled us up to level 30. I then noticed our gxp bar is maxed at 5890/5890. I see others are having the same problem. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
In the old set up we had everything unlocked except the puzzles. We regularly kept buffs on the guild of karma, exp, magic find and gathering. We WvW, so frequently ran the +5 supply buff. When the release came out and the system was re-worked, it was frustrating to lose the ability we had before. At the tavern we added in the merchant to allow 1 24 hour buff, so far just exp and karma are available. We used to run multiples and I don’t see anything showing that will allow multiple buffs for a guildie like before. I would like to see that functionality added back in.
We are level 18 so far with the guild and steadily building our better mouse trap. We are enjoying the experience of making our guild hall grand. Do I wish it was less expensive and took a shorter time? Of course. I knew though from watching Twitch and all the interview regarding the guild hall, what to expect. I went into it with knowledge. Building your guild hall is like building a great big puzzle. Each piece impacts a build in another building toward another upgrade for the benefit of the guild.
I spent a lot of hours piecing together my guild’s battle plan, and I enjoyed that experience, and my guild is enjoying the fun of building that hall together.
So far I am liking the changes over all. I would like to see the ability for multiple buffs to be run simultaneously, and it would be nice if some of the reqs were not quite so pricey. A good for instance is the necessity for PvP Reward Potions. My guild likes PvP, but we are not a seasoned team. Since there is no ranked stuff going on right now, the ranked teams are playing unranked and making it really hard for those of us playing unranked to win anything.
I personally love HoT. I am enjoying the change, and the challenge of the maps. Sometimes I explore alone, but often I am playing with guildies that make it fun, and we work together to take down enemies. When we get stuck on stuff due to lack of mastery in an area, we just move on to another map and work on events, which there are plenty of, to level our xp. I have played gw2 since Beta, and am glad to have a challenge. There are some areas that could be refined, but I love it and don’t find it depressing at all. I am enjoying finally being able to work toward new goals.

Hi,
We are level 16, and moving on up. I did an upgrade today thinking it would level up up and it did not. I have not seen a list of what things level a guild. For those of you ahead of us, or someone in Arena Net, what actually gives guilds level ups?

This past week my guild did a race. W activated it, the flag for it popped up, we completed it, with the race active the entire time. We got done with it in plenty of time and waited for the timer to be done and give us credit. When the timer expired and it showed that we failed we were shocked because we did not fail. We screen shot it and sent in a bug report and have not heard anything back. The same thing happened to the group right after us. I know because I stood there and watched and heard them get very upset when the same thing happened to them. The game showed the flag the entire rush, they completed it, and then it failed them. I told them they should screen shot it and report it as a bug so more people wouldn’t have issues.
We have another rush active, but we are not sure if the system is broken, and we still haven’t gotten the credit for the one we successfully completed. Help.

I don’t mind the way it was presented, or that the mursaat didn’t make a come back. I would love to have this be a playable race though! That would be cool.
We are getting a lot of new players in-game. This means many of them have joined one server, but joined a primary guild on another server and they cannot WvW with their main guild. Will we see the ability for guildies to be able to move to their main guild’s server home so that members can battle together?
Also,
Please make sure that when this is fixed, you keep these things in the trader for longer to make up for the time lost due to needing to fix it.
I have been trying to buy gems since last night. It gets all the way through the purchase until the final section. At the top of the screen I get a message in red “Unfortunately an Error has occurred. Please try again later.”
If you all want me to buy the new dyes and stuff, you need to fix this so I can buy gems!

We would love to talk with you about you joining us, or working as an alliance if you haven’t found a spot to call your own yet.
Figured out the problem.
Was hoping the new patch would fix this, it didn’t.
When I came in-game after the update I clicked on the green icon on the right side of my screen. It opened up, and I looked and it and then collapsed it. I did not get any letters and cannot progress in the living story. In my Hero Panel under the living story it shows completed without my having done anything for it yet.
In GW1 my Monk has the Yakslapper. I love it! When I started GW2 and got into WvW, I saw that a title exists for Yakslapper. I want it! I have been attacking and killing all applicable Yaks since then. Its going on 2 years now! The title is for 1 Million Yaks! I will be 90 before I get that! Is there any way the total can come down to a more reasonable number! I have a lot of exclamations in here and I am sorry for that, but I want that Title, and I need a realistic goal. This is Brangwen Liana, you will see me out and about in WvW happily murdering all the Yaks that apply for the achieve and looking like a crazy woman as I reach for the stars of 1 millions Yaks and dreaming of the day that I can walk around proudly with that achieve above my head!
I love Guild Wars 2. I loved GW1. I have played 2 since Beta. I have enjoyed so many things about the game. One of the things I don’t love is the Living Story. I feel like I am grinding all the time and not getting story content. I feel like I am doing a bunch of side quests while I am waiting for the heavy hitting stuff to happen. I want to see the story of the dragons continue. We have beat 1, now I want to go on and beat the others. I want to explore new lands, see what time has done to old lands, and get to experience the beauty that has been put into the games. I want to see eventually lands that are closed to Tyria now be re-opened and find out what is going on there. I would love to see some way that the dwarves can be turned back to flesh and come back to us. I have seen some great things, and have enjoyed them, but I am concerned that when the time comes for other game releases, this game will lose players to them because many players are story driving, and the living story isn’t really giving most people a sense of the story continuing. I was excited about the story shown when the game was getting ready to come out. Since that has not progressed, I have seen people leave. Also, the living story has pulled people away from exploring a lot of areas of the game where people always used to go. That includes dungeons, outlying areas that are not people’ favorites like Orr, and Fireheart, and doing the various temples. The beautiful thing about the game is the explorable areas, and the story. That is what we need to have more of. The living story idea isn’t bad, but every two weeks is a grind. They are overlapping with each other too so that I have to pick and choose what I do. I can’t live on the game. Its not enjoyable to start something and not be able to complete it because something else comes out before I am done. WvW overlapped with two different things.

I was talking with another one of our Commanders today and thinking through useful information that would be good for Commanders to have access to. I was wondering how viable it would be, and how helpful other people think it would be to access how many people are on a borderland or EB at a given time. This would help to be able to determine if offense or defense is most appropriate.

Talk to someone that manages rewards so we can get something other than a Jug Of Karma. These events have been pretty tedious (fedex quests). You probably be able to get alot more people to suck it up and play Frost and Flame: The Fetch Quest if they got something.
It doesn’t even have to be something worth anything. A pos mini/townclothes, hell even a laurel.
True. Whoever decides what reward each activity provides, they seem to value karma as a resource far more than any player in the entire game does. Karma used to be worthwhile back when you could trade karma items in for cash money, but so long as karma items are soulbound and non-sellable, even to vendors, it’s a fairly valueless currency. I did buy two cool cultural3 daggers the other day with karma, but that only cost a tiny fraction of the karma jugs I had filling up my bank.
Ohoni,
If you decide to work on a Legendary weapon, you will need karma, and quite a lot of it, to make your weapon. That is when having a lot of karma stored up will really help you out.
We have a great mix of people playing together and have nightly events for the guild to do together. There are almost always groups forming for various activities. We are friendly and are always thrilled to have more people join our community.

We have a lot of fun together and we are always glad to have people join us. We have scheduled events, a great website and mumble and no pressure to do what you aren’t into. We would love to have new people come play with us, especially with the new guild missions!
Kumu,
My guild is involved in WvWvW. I actually am a commander. I enjoy the strategy of the environment. My guild enjoys WvW, but isn’t focused on that place of gameplay. We enjoy all aspects of the game. Therefore pulling together a large enough group to “take over,” the red map is probably not going to happen. I also don’t feel its right to use my commander title to cause people to go and try and conquer the red map so that I can capture the points I need.
Daniel Mc. posted that the system works against those who are single players and are waiting for that one section to be completed because we are rarely that particular color. A solution needs to be reached if WvW is going to be part of the map completion. The best solution I can think of is make it a special map completetion achievement that is not part of the overall world map. That would probably be easiest for the developers too.
Why would I have a lot of money as a PvE’r? I am unsure how that correlates. I also am an officer in my guild. I am not going to switch servers to be in a server that is red to get the points I need. Something like that shouldn’t be necessary to obtain those points.
We don’t usually need to schedule these runs because we always have groups partying up to go into dungeons and FoTM. Almost every night there are groups running these.
Dayra,
Thanks for the information about rank. I knew most of it, but was not aware that one side is harder than another. If the game is going to have a title that is based on exploration of a map you can almost never get to because your server just doesn’t get into that color then something needs to be done. Maybe WvW shouldn’t be part of the overall percentage of the exploration title. I could see having world v world not part of the percentage and having that area with its own title of exploration as it is the hardest area to explore period.
I am sure this topic has come up a bazillion times and will continue to come up because it is an issue in-game that needs a different solution than what we have now. I am adding my voice to the mix to ask for a solution that gives me a real opportunity to get my exploration title done without having to find a server that is in the red and move over there just to get to that part of the map.
I am working on my exploration title and I am finding the color system of world v world is working against me. My server has not been red for months. I have green and I have blue, but am shy of being able to complete the rest of the points in the red zone. I would love to see a-net do away with the color system as it stands now. Does anyone know if this a change that is coming down the pipe, and hopefully soon?
We are a community within a community. Staunchly Crystal Desert, we are a mature group of players who enjoy hanging out together and would love to have other mature players join our happy band. We are a casual guild that likes to play across the game. You will find us battling it out in WvW, PvP, PvE and everything in between. We run dungeons, FoTM, and all kinds of events. Our guild influence has been used to the benefit of our community and often has magic find and other benefits running around the clock. Mumble, and a website help us to communicate with one another without compromising game play.

Hi Zooey,
Thanks for the info. I am really looking for a guild on my own server. When its time to do WvW I want to be running around with my own server mates. Thanks for responding to my post though. I appreciate your interest.
Looking for a casual guild to play with. I am a guild leader of a fairly inactive guild of players that have played together since year 1 of gw1. I am looking for a second guild of active players to do my main playing with. I am looking for a guild that does not have requirements regarding attendance, or representation exclusively.
