well..I’m not native english speaker, so I dont actually fully catch how offensive it is XD.
1st purchase from official site.
2nd one from one of authorized retailers.
I’v kept tracking card transaction this time.
it’s not reserved/pending. transaction acquired.( not sure if it’s proper term in English)
I’v googled card billing process. merchant acquirer actually
did request money. anyway everything looks fine to me this time.
I visited my bank in person, double checked if my card’s fine.
I did everything I can do. sigh

I’v closed all except this one. they said my case is now under investigation.
there’s nothing much I can do except waiting now.

I’m not sure what u’re talking about but I’ll try to explain as I know.
Account closed and refunded —→ there’s no chance to get account back.
Account released —→ u can get ur account back but u have to re-purchase the game to gain a access to the game.
u can try to re-purchase GW2 thru official site again with same card.
but I think they block the online purchase with non-north american card thru
official site. u may have to re-purchase thru authorized retailers.

because u were given north-american account even though u picked another region before. now seems like they’v fixed and trying to give proper region account.
if u have no problem to repurchase thru buy.guildwars2.com, just pick proper region
at County pull down menu. it will give u proper region account now I believe.
if u have to purchase from authorized retail partners – https://buy.guildwars2.com/retailers, check this link , pick proper retailer for ur region

I believe serial code has specific region code on it. from what I’v reseached, someone who belongs neither north america/mexico nor europe was given north american account before. but seems like they’v changed.
I got similiar msg like urs but I asked about tht on ticket before , got no response.
poohy, they wont look into ur case unless u get a ticket up on support.
if u bought ur game thru official site, put detail info of ur register email
serial code, and ur card transaction on ur ticket.
tht’s how I got my account released(it took very long time though)
and I highly recommend u to check if card transaction’s ACQURIED or
Canceled and actually they took ur money from ur bank account.
I highly suspect tht some card billing system error on ARENANET caused all these
problems. but u still have to prove by all means to get response from Arenanet.
they barely dont ask what info they need to solve problem on ticket from what I’v experienced. it’s like a puzzle, so u actually have to figure out what’s wrong exactly by
urself.
if ur card transaction remains as not acquired for long period, it will be canceled automatically, wont charge. so u dont need to ask refund.
u got another new key, u better make new account with it because u’ll get more for
same period than waiting and wasting time until ur account back.

1) click the register
2) type ur SN and check – I have gw account
that’s how to link ur serial code to existing account.
but in my case, my account still remaining as suspended.
it’s under investigation now.
if u dont mind, I would suggest u to make new account with new serial.
it’s more quick and easy way to jump back into the game.
or if u like waiting and hanging around forum , counting days, …it’s up to u
ur case is still under investigation, right? u have to wait until u get msg tht ur account’s released. or not gonna happen to get ur account back.
once ur account’s released, u can try to link new sn to ur account.
but I suggest tht if there’s nothing much valuable to take on ur toons,
ask refund for former purchase, go make new account with new SN.
because in my case it took very long time to get my account released, I re-purchased GW2,applied new sn to my existing account but my account’s still suspended.
it seems like it’s not instant process or having problem with it.
so u may have to wait another days for another investigation.

I’v re-purchased GW2 digital download from one of authorized retail partners.
I applied new serial code to my existing released account.
But, when I try to login thru game launcher, it still says My account has been suspended for account issue.
I got new ticket up for this problem. (121119-003718)
but got only auto-response as following

Alright, so I followed steps on above(I’m NOT having problem with email address verification though).
I successfully did verify email address and reset pw with new serial code.
But nothing has been changed.
My game account still remaining as suspended.
I’v checked my credit card transaction. status is normal and transaction acquired.
tht means retailer eventually will take my money for this and I’m screwed. ok?

Hi!
In order to regain access to the game, I’v re-purchased Guild Wars 2 again
(From authorized retail partner),
and applied new valid code to my released account.
I got a register confirm mail from Arenanet. But still can’t access to the game.
it says still tht My account’s suspended for account issue.
I updated my old ticket(121114-002734) for this problem but it has been abandoned for 5days since I got last respond which was tht I have to re-purchase GW2.
should I get new ticket up for this?
would u check the procedure of applying new SN with released account?

it seems like it’s similiar to my case. it has been more than a week since I got my 1st ticket up. day 8 now. I cant say ‘dont lose ur hope’ atm. just ticket up and wait. tht’s all u can do atm.

My first ticket was 121106-003136 for engaging
or assisting with gold or item sales for real world money.
I’v attached additional info as many as I can imagine.
Only answer I got was a macro answer tht I I got banned for illegal 3rd party program.
(Someone I know who got banned for 3rd party program tht I’v used -‘VPN’,
he has actually got his account restored back)
I’v put more info of it and explained and waited for a few more days.
No more answer returned with the status ’ still in progress’
So I closed tht. got new one up(121111-001909)
one question, the subject they’ve charged me can be changed?
Now it has been almost 6days since I got first ticket up.
Plz…look into my server data record just for 1min. or ask any question.
I can explain everything.

I’v been terminated for engaging or assisting gold or item sales for real money as they say. but as u see above, I got actually banned for illegal 3rd party program. he didnt tell
me what exactly it is but only program I run on background when I play gw2 is the vpn
program ‘Mudfish’. Here I’m not repeating I’m innocent but wanna make it sure tht using VPN is illegal or not. if anyone can make sure it’s illegal, I’m gonna leave peacefully without any further complaining and take all result.
Additionally I want u guys know what using VPN causes no matter how my case ends up to prevent another bad case like me.
plz anyone who suffered or suffering similiar issue comment below.
P.S : I’v updated my ticket after GM msg. not sure if it can still go on further.

hmm interesting.. I had accepted random invitation once. No one nearby me when I was playing, I thought like ’ wth, how the hell could he pick me up in the middle of nowhere?’ I asked him ‘wassup’ but no answer returned if I remember correctly. it was like 30sec or 1min in party. it was very long ago, barely remember but 15days ago? it could be related to gold selling? If so, should I add tht on my ticket description?

Banned for something related to gold selling. Entered Day 3 since I got ticket up(Ticket No. 121106-003136). getting tired to wait.
I wanna share my case with u guys.
1) Digital Edition bought thru buy.guildwars2.com/en
2) paid by Visa Check Card.
3) No 3rd party program except VPN for better ping.
4) I have fluid IP.
5) No gem, No gold trading at all all thru ingame or out
6) I’m not working for RMT company. I dont even know what RMT company is.
I dont still understand why I got banned. really wanna know the reason at least.
U know what, Arenanet doing now is like ’ Hey u look like criminal, put him in the jail!
prove urself or not gonna see the daylight again’ I do respect game rules, real life rules, I hate gold seller and any abuser but this is too much action. In common sense manner, I dont understand how u arenanet guys can charge someone only with suspect, or situational evidence. u may say it’s just a few case wrongfully banned but as I see, it’s not. see how many ppl got restored from banned (I’m not talking about how many ppl insisting they’r innocent) have u ever experienced this before in anygame? ok I can take suspended for investing on related to gold selling but cant take permanant banned without specific evidence. do u guys think sentence and put someone in the jail without any notice, warn, evidence before trial is right? or am I only one who think this is not right. Even if I get my account restored, I’m not sure I can continue to play the game with the stress tht I could be banned again for uncertain reason anytime. I hope u guys all get restored soon.

I was doing my story mission a couple of hours ago alone.
Suddenly got forcefully terminated with msg pop.
I thought it was kinda connection problem at first time
so I tried to reconnect.
but I got following msg and it was so….embarassing.
‘Your Guild Wars 2 account has been terminated for engaging in or assisting with
gold or item sales for real-world money, which is a breach of User Agreement
and Rules of Conduct. This action is PERMANENT’
I DONT GET IT AT ALL..cuz I didnt violate anything or offend anyone..I’m just a normal
player. I didnt even purchase anything with gem so far…I really dont remember what caused this.
At least I really wanna know exactly what I did for permanent ban. or my account has been hacked?
