I tried focus in sPvP. Since lightning and fire attunement lack dependable damage you will just take longer to lose a fight. Furthermore you are missing ride the lightning and therefore a lot of mobility.

More annoying is the bug that arcance wave and arcance blast cancel channeled spells like churning earth when they hit a target standing behind you. I hope this gets fixed soon.

You do know you have additional elite skills? AFAIK you are only limited to 3 in sPvP.

You didn’t build for duels. You didn’t really use skills (except for the 1). You ran in every AoE attack. And all of this is suddenly proof that eles are overpowered? Do you want to see how an ele fares vs. a thief when he just uses the auto-attacks?

Do you think stability is a must for fights against guardians?

Why did you attack the summoned hammer when fighting the guardian?

And here I thought you would write “BATMAN!”. :-/

You probably don’t know him either. So you can’t know if he knows you. Maybe he knows the truth – you couldn’t tell.
Both of you are just guessing, but his guess is more educated.

I have some true stories too:
*I captured all the points while in downed state. Moved around the map in mist form. It was 8v1 but the opponents just couldn’t kill me.

*I specced healing recently. With enough healing power you rally yourself after mist form.

Soon OP will tell us that he is a skilled thief who knows to smash his 2 buttons better than the average thief. He probably has tried different professions but thief is the only one “which feels right”.

There are some problems with the elementalist that are hardly deniable:
*downed-state of elementalist is just useless and painful to watch
*many of the traits and skills are broken or terrible – you have to use the few good ones
*there is no way a glass cannon build can work
*elite skills are meh
*staff projectiles are amazingly slow and therefore miss at longer ranges

The elementalist is still a fun class to play but some traits and skills could definately use a buff/fix. Otherwise you will be able to pick traits and skills according to preference but just the few one that are not utterly useless.
