These events are such a waste of time and effort. Anet needs a new look at this. Stop with these micro events that require timing, organized groups, and constant forum reading. Get back to discovery type events, you know, the type you just stumble upon while out doing other things. Or heck, how about war like events, instead of having to search around a beach for a crowbar….good god this game is just like all the other sleepers.
As a thief main, the fact that they can even CnD during large groups amazes me. If the game isn’t rendering, then its also probably lagging. When it is, hitting with CnD is maddening. And even better yet, stealth doesnt even work half the time when the area is full of people.
Ive had Blinding powder, refuge, steal, and even my healing stealth not work during larger engagements.
Anet, fix your kitten game already. Put a dam CD on stealth, reduce output or increase the toughness variables, but do something.
Need to separate rezzing from downed. I have no issue with getting downed players back up by teammates, what sucks is rezzing already dead bodies. Make downed state longer lasting if you need to but get rid of this rezzing nonsense of dead people.
They need to stop this max crit junk, there should be a hard cap on damage no matter what. Base it on armor class or whatever. If I were ever to design a combat system, one thing I would never include is this mythical crit hit nonsense. You either hit or you miss. If yu want a critical hit, fine, make it a critical hit. you get one you die.
I found there is more “opposition” at 5am-9am US than at 5pm-8pm. So you want an afternoon capping too?
So I still have no clue as to how you think only the 4 hours a day you play is somehow the only time that matters. I have over 1000 tokens and 6k wvw kills, all playing at that time where you claim no one plays.
The idea of supply as ammo for siege makes more sense than using supply to build it. To build one out in the field, should require supply to build it as it is now. Only make it much more to do and longer times to channel.
If you could build siege equipment at only supply camps and other construction sites for no suplly costs, then have to slowly drag it to a usable position for use. Supply then could become ammo dumps near the weapons in the form of stacked boulders and or arrow bolts.
My main issue is the maps themselves. The circular layout is not well designed IMO. There should be more of a front line approach to warfare. The deeper into enemy territory should have restraints. Such as , no resurrections on dead, more npc patrols, and icon marks on map when detected by friendlies(not just swords). If you die behind enemy lines, you body should automatically teleport back to a friendly waypoint 15-30 seconds after death. Its such a cheap way of spying.
How bout something to break up zergs too. Like maybe make a keep tower only seige weapon that intensifies damage(call it the bones shrapnel effect) for every person in the radius when struck.
So if one person is in the radius, he takes 1k, two = 2k, 5 = 5k….ect. Give it a long CD but lets make something for a few guys on a wall to take out a mindless rampaging zerg.

Not only slower loads, but I logged on with 40-45 fps in LA, logged out to do some chores, came back and logged in two hours later and had 13 fps in LA. It’s been that way ever since. What is going on?
Unfortunately, that is how its working at the moment. Not by design.
Anet seems unwilling to admit that servers are not equally populated. If the pop for a map is 200-200-200, and your two lower populated teams can only muster 100, then it becomes 400-100-100. What’s worse, is when you try to bring in the 101’st guy, he has to sit in a que.
Twin is dreaming, today we never saw TC until after 8 hours of fighting back DB off our home map. Yes DB, that was me trebbing DB for 3 hours straight.
I will say something that troubled me, is when we took the keep. We saw the same type of bot hacks being used to defend the Lords room. Instant respawns and teleporting by the same few players, over and over again.
yes, if its a mesmer, staff #2 causes that a lot.
However, today we had a new hack event. Bot like players, instant respawns on a keep lords control point. 50 of us couldnt kill these 5 guys quick enough. They would die, vanish, then spawn back at the CP within seconds. It took us over 10 minutes to clear the spot.
Right, bots have no effect on the economy, just like printing money has none on real world currency. Sorry, you guys must be botters to even question it.
Obi, you are absolutely correct, bots are enough to make me quit.
Well the value of gold is actually being determined by bots. Ive reported the same 50 bots for weeks now, and yet they still roam free.
They not only drive item(farmed) prices down, but send premium items skyrocketing.
I figure two more weeks, if i still see hordes of bots, then its time to move on to other games.
I am going to move on to doing other things till anet admits or fixes the serer populations. One moment Im getting a outnumbered bonus, then the next minute i am sitting in a que while my teammates are yelling how their are enemy players everywhere. and we had no one on the server.
As a 90% of the time WvW’er, i can say some of the things are just bizzaro world crazy to me.
The mere fact that Orbs, which the side who grabs the most, are usually already more populated and have taken most of the game’s objectives. Why Anet would give that HP and Power bonuses is beyond idiotic. Orbs should represent a side that has already conquered areas, so why not make the bonuses toward a defensive posture. Like cheaper upgrades for towers and such, faster repair and upgrades on such, and maybe even faster supplies delivered. And more importantly, more points toward the score.
But IMO the bonuses for being outnumbered should be increased fighting power and health. How does XP and karma boosts help me if my side is outnumbered 5 to 1 anet. WTF is with that nonsense!.
Oh one last little grumble here, I sit in que while my side is outnumbered like 3 to 1, we even had the outmanned tag just minutes prior to me disconneting. Yet now when I try to get in I sit in a que at 10am? Yeah, I know why, because the other server was full with tripple our number.
When Anet admits their data base for servers is broken, then maybe we can at least have hope they will stop this nonsense allowing one server to pack the place, while another server sits in que because of it.

I have the same issues in WvW with any lag or in bigger grp combat. Since I do not use auto or mug, andstill have this fail at least a third of the time, I can say it’s an issue with the server timing out or something. Stealth in general is pretty hit or miss when there are more than 3-5 ppl in an area. Anet needs to tighten up this stuff, its pretty sloppy right now.
You are darn right! When I play all day long to take all those keeps and towers only to wake up and find all the US players took it back while I slept, is not fair! Lets reduce US peak time scores to 50%. /facepalm
