So I rolled up this Charr ranger alt with a Drake companion, and I have no idea how to play a Ranger, my main is an engineer. Could I get some discussion going?
I have a main around level 30 and I’m looking for a good place to level. The Asura city and Lion’s Arch are what I’m most familiar with, but I’d like to get more exploration EXP … sell me on some locations!
but I found out very quickly if I did not attack the targets enough, I got no credit for even participating in the fight. It would be nice if you we got points for healing the group as well as hitting the targets.
This. If the game does not support the model that healing benefits you in group situations, it won’t happen, even optionally.
Here’s a constructive suggestion for the Event designers. Dont put fightable quest NPC’s in a 2×2×2 room with tables chairs and other knicknacks to get stuck on, where 50 players are going to enmass root, stun, knockback and fear at the same time.
With the underlying NPC stuck bug not fixed after god knows however many months, this was kind of silly no?
Maybe this is the wake up call they needed to fix that bug, since it’s ruined this main quest for countless people.
I’ve been trying to learn to play while strafing/running in circles and it seems like a lot of the Pistol moves aren’t hitting the enemy at all… can I get some advice for how to play as a non-still mobile player without watching my damage plummet when the moves aren’t connecting with the target?
I’m doing the quest in Akk Wilds where you escort the Parrna to the top and gather the data crystals. The two veteran golem bosses are pretty difficult at level 19. Any advice for fighting them both simultaneously?
The same thing happened to me today and it took about 3 hours or so to clear the area of goodies, waypoints, and the Veteran Marsh Drake several times. It was dormant the entire time after I completed the Heart quest.
