Guild Wars 2

This is the second time this has happened when ive come to play the game again. Is my log in different somehow for the game and website? Which is it for the game?

So i haven’t played this game in a while and it will not let me log into game ive tried the following

Name without 4 numbers ie: XXX
Name with 4 numbers ie: XXX.YYYY
Email: XXXXX@YYYYYY.com

no issues logging into the website. Dont remember the name of any toons so I cant recover anything either.

I can log in to the website without an issue but the game wont allow me to log in. It trys to get me to recover my account. Which log in do I have to use not that it mattes since I have tried 3.

My account name I picked: XXX
Account name with numbers: XXX.YYYY
And email: XXXX@YYYYYY.com

none work. I just decided to come back and re try this game and cant even log in. So far not a great experience.
