On Red Alert, one of the level 60 priory personal story instances, uses a non restored version of Lions Arch for the area outside the house. Its a minor bug, but its interesting to enter the house and look off the balcony and see a very different city
10 FPS in the character select screen when at release I could play just fine? I doubt that.
Hi! I’ve decided I want to come back to the game after the feature pack was released. My computer used to be able to run GW2 just fine, but now it struggles. After about 15-20 minutes ANYWHERE (even sitting on character select), my framerate will drop massively. This is no gaming laptop, so the dip is very noticible. But the game still should perform decently. On character select I go from 50-60 to 10-20. AFKing in the sPvP lobby normally nets me about 40, until the dip when I drop to 10. My laptop isn’t overheating. I would be able to feel it. I have no idea what’s wrong. This happens regardless of my settings
I have a stock HP Envy m6 purchased a couple years back.

http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/vistadefault.aspx?ln=el-gr as descripted in this ms kb http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179113after that you must uninstall the game and restart ( better option is to copy the GW2.dat file ( ~ 17 gb ) in your game’s folder somewhere else . uninstall and dowload the again the installer from the link in your account . when it update the installer press th x on the right up corner to stop and copy back the dat file in the game’s folder.
then update the vga drivers .
So my issue went away for a while and now its back. Same problem, different character. I’ve tried updating Direct X with your link provided and with a direct download from MS and both say that my Direct X is up to date. So are all my drivers. :x
EDIT: Im also running Direct X 11

Hi! I’m having issues leveling my ranger. I was in Kressex Hills (Halacon Cataracts area by the south bridge). I cannot log into my ranger or my game will render the area and immediately crash. I haven’t gone there on my other characters (Only one of which have it unlocked) for fear of it being a regional issue.
I can play with my engineer just fine. The original crash was at the Jade Quarry borderlands in the citadel and I crashed repeatedly afterwards. The Intel driver detector says I’m up to date (I used the one in the sticky). Anti Aliasing settings are already set to game settings.
While playing on my ranger, my graphics drivers will always crash, occasionally windows notifies me that Gw2.exe has been blocked from accessing the graphics hardware. Again, this is only when I log into my ranger.
Normally I play the game with the assistance of Razor Gamebooster (Disables unnecessary processes so more resources can be allocated to the game), Steam w/ steam overlay (Allows me to basically bring up a transparent window over GW2 to allow me to chat with friends, browse the internet etc without minimizing the game. Guild Wars 1 officially is on the steam store.) and TS3 overlay when in WvW (So I know who’s talking). Cant stress enough: No modified game files or advantages, just convenience and performance. Game crashes with and without these.
Here’s my crash log, IP and Computer name withheld as it should be irreverent. Notice the crash log states that GW2 is only running for 1 second, meaning that the crash is basically instant.
And here are my system specs. Like all of them.

Here’s another bug that is related. The mad king doesn’t start giving instructions. It just tells you to go find your minor-race partner. One group gave my Quaggan. This one I captured a screenshot of gave me Hylek.
Only happens to me when I’m in a group
I posted my idea earlier, but it somehow got lost.
Players should be kept in line regardless as to if they are online or not. If the player is online when it is his turn to enter the game proceeds like it does now. If he is not online, his account should be flagged with something that indicates WvW priority. When he logs back in, he is placed in the front of the line (behind those with the flag that logged in prior). That way you could log off and still be in line, and the line wouldn’t be any longer than it is now because the same people are trying to get in.
I like your concept, but I fear players would just join groups to get into WvW faster. I could see commanders being let in quicker, but I don’t think it should require a full party. 100 gold is a lot just to get marked on the map (Squads don’t really do anything). It needs to have some perk.
