Scarlet is the only person we know who had a mobile working teleportation device.
Didn’t Snaff develop one too? The pocket hole or something, which Logan later used to abandon his team and go save the Queen during the Ogre Revolt
Ok fine I was wrong XD
But yeah, I do at least feel certain about the statement “not everyone and their dog has a mobile teleportation device and must thus physically get themselves to a wp to use it”
Wouldn’t every player have one too? Since you’re able to use waypoints from any location in the world while you are not in combat.
This is what I run in WvW at the moment. Sword/Shield for defense and Rifle for offensive. Sadly, I don’t have any swiftness, but I may change my rune for that.
As we’ve seen in the Living Story, Waypoints are brought up by the characters. I’m curious to know the actual rules and limitations of the Waypoints.
Such as why do they shut off when conflict is nearby, why can everyone use them, is there a size or group limit to them, wouldn’t they make Asura Portals redundant, etc etc.
I found a use of it while following the zerg around. Since it has no limit to how many it affects and it’s not stuck to one position, I can chase the mass of the zerg and heal them as they take damage. I’m not entirely using it anymore, I’ve also put in Elixir Gun along with other elixirs to provide more support instead of turrets. Due to all the boons bouncing around, I was healing around 270-330 a tick, and breaking the 1k line with some channels. Though I agree wholeheartedly that it needs a rework, and what I put down here may just help the devs with fixing it.
Figured it out, three ticks of the base healing per channel.
There is any idea how many times the Med Kit Skill #1, Med Blaster, can heal a target during its blast? I’m just playing around with the skills and was wondering.
The build I’m currently working on,

Tavern Tunes by Madusan Mountaineers aka Rennie and Wex
A friend of mine linked me to these guys. They’re Seraph RPers on Piken Square, and I just had to share their Guild Wars 2 inspired music with the masses of players and Anet. Also they sing it in character so it can get quite entertaining.
Go on and listen!
1.) That would make it alot easier to manage lower guild admin.
2.) I don’t see them changing that, I find the number of ranks to be more than enough.
3.) As they stated at PAX East, they’re not planning for guild halls, even though it would be wonderful and a great way to bring GvG back.
4.) I would love to see the alliance option and chat back. Due to the fact I help run two guilds and it would be awesome to have a chat where both guilds can talk in.
I can see this bringing guilds even closer together, such as a guild could make their own ship and display their symbol, much like forts but movable.
Though there could be an issue when there’s just too many ships in one sea. Each side could have docks with a set amount of ships at each one, when a ship gets destroyed, a spot at the docks opens up for the next player who runs by to build a ship.
I could see some pretty cool WvW Events for the building, sailing, and destruction of said ships. That could also open up some cool World Boss/Dragon Events. Feeling lucky if you faced… let’s say a kraken or leviathan.
I think he means making not only his interface invisible to himself, but his character. So his character would be seen by others but he would not see himself unless he turns the setting off.
Here’s a screenshot comparing how similar between the guild armor and banded set. I personally like both looks and would love to see that guild armor provided in PvE.
Nah, I like the Banded armor look for the guild armor. I believe most Ministry Guard NPCs wear the full set mini the shoulders.
Just in PvP, I want to know when they’ll come in for PvE. Currently in PvE there’s only chest available.
Quick question! Does anyone know anything about the guild armor skin becoming available for more than just the chest piece? If so, when would we expect such an update to it?
Hello! I’m starting on building my gaming rig but I’m abit at a loss of what type of hardware I should be looking into. I’ve decided on a packaged deal that gives me a Cooler Master HAF 912 case and Cooler Master 500W PSU for $143.99. I would like to run Guild Wars 2 on the highest settings possible, and be sure that I will not have to update my pc for a good while, but still be able to keep the price tag at a reasonable level.
I recently had to reinstall windows on my laptop, and I saved my guild wars 2 files on an external hard drive. Well, when I start it up via GW2.exe, the client opens and stays at “Downloading 0KB (0KB/sec)” and does not leave that. Now when I make the GW2.dat into GW2.old, then use GW2setup.exe, the client will download the first 11,000 KBs or so and ask for permission from the Admin, I say yes, flickers, then closes completely. No error message, and the data downloaded before is nowhere to be found. Any help would be great.
Yeah, I think a flying race would not work well with the mechanics, for example like falling damage, and skills like Earthshaker. If they’re flying, how would those work on the race. The race would have to be land based.
Ah, that’s understandable. Thank you!
My money is on the Tengu, the Dominion of the winds is closed off to us at the moment and can make a wonderful 1-15 zone for starter Tengu, also a good location for their city.
Hi, as I play the game, I notice there’s an absence of back armor, I have found the guild backpacks from the Guild Armorsmith and the one you receive from your Personal Story. I was wondering if quivers could be a possible addition to back armor, since I noticed whenever a character fires their short/longbow they reach over their shoulder to reload with another arrow from their “invisible” quiver. I think it would be visually pleasing for players to have a quiver as an option for back armor and help rid of the feeling that the arrows are magically popping out of thin air.
