Rotation is one of two things.
The order in which you use your skills.
The act of moving as a group of 5 people back and forth between 2 or three points constantly capping/decapping while using the enemy teams defenders as a way to feed your point gain.

I think the title says it all. I have noticed a lot of AFKs in Ranked since the season started and feel that there should be harsher penalties for people who want to be Afk more of the match than they play. The whole 3 v 5 thing is just getting old… sorry about the whine bag post but when you lose because of this and not because of the other teams skill v. your teams skill it kinda hurts… deep down… around my pancreas…

Best explanation I can give you is some players have builds that let them bunker far and lock it down up to 1 v 3 or 4 depending on the opposing teams comp. By locking down Far it allows mid to have 2 defending home to have 1 defending and 1 player as a floater between the two. The worst thing you as a player on a team can do is start yelling at the other players. I had a match yesterday where I kept 4 people on Far for two-thirds of the match and had a Rev yelling at me about sitting on a point the entire match. Be malleable to strategy. Sometimes mid is not an option to cap. I have won far more matches with Home/Far caps than I have Home/Mid.

PvP has become less satisfying. That being said you have to remember that this is a game. If you aren’t having fun then find something you enjoy in it. I think this is why there are so many people running around without HoT in PvP because the game just isn’t fun and the addition of Elites hasn’t really done it for most people. I have been enjoying my Necro Bunker, mostly because it eats chrono and dragon hunter, and yeah I was able to cut chaff out of my build with Reaper Elite, but for all that PvP just keeps getting more… eh. So yeah we would like to see some changes and we can keep suggesting changes… I guess what I am saying is hang in there and keep the hope alive or find something you enjoy more, be it in this game or in another. If player activity drops in pvp they will notice.

Match making is broken. A lot of Diamond V Emerald and the like going on right now for some reason.

I frequently Pugmand in the BL’s when I am on (Just came back from being off for a while). Feel free to add me to your list of friends and send folks my way or bug me to hit up certain spots.

I am looking for an active sociable guild to Rep on HoD while I am Pugmandering or Counter Roaming in WvW. If your guild has extreme down times, 5+ hours of less than 5 people logged in regularly, or is digitally anti-social please know you and I are probably not going to be a good fit. Questions? A few things about me.
I am not looking for a 100% Rep Req. I am a member of a guild of friends from work that is highly inactive but when asked to help them I do. That being said you will get rep’ed the vast majority of the time.
I love the WvW and have been active in it since day one.
I provide the Siege when I am tagged up at no cost and don’t require reimbursement. (I loves the WvW remember.)
I am pretty easy going and enjoy leading everything from small groups to Barbarian Hordes.

You obviously do not understand how many blueprints I can throw down and not even make a dent in my reserve >.>
I normally have 4 stacks of Rams in my bags on any given day and 4 more in my bank xD

Yea that 10 v 1 is pretty epic. The most fun I have had on as a HoD roamer this week so far has been being able to peel 10-15 people out of FA and YB Blobs and get them to chase me across the borderlands and back.

So this is not my inventory but it keeps popping up when I go to use the trading post.

First off welcome to Guild Wars 2, I really hope you enjoy it here as much as many of us have. It shouldn’t take much more than a few hours for your laptop to install the game client. I suggest just leaving your laptop on over night and letting it install while you sleep. You should see very nice performance I have a Beefed up Satellite that is on par with a Qosmio. I will say this though if you have Windows 8 you may want to go into your boot settings and turn the function swap off. If you need any help feel free to message me on here or in game.

To those that have been eagerly waiting, the wait is over =D

I’m sure the fanatics out there are already aware but to the rest, NCSOFT has announced that a GW 2 expansion is underway, source is in the top of my post.
Launch date and details are still unknown but this is good news none-the less. My best guess is 2014 at the earliest.

I must say that I did not miss ebay’s constant attempts at second place. Haven’t run into a server that’s plays anywhere near as bad in that respect.

I must not be understanding what you’re trying to say. You don’t like it when servers play WvW? What?

I’m saying that it was a lot more fun last week when SBI helped us take on the bigger server than having Ebay constantly trying to pick me off while I’m in big tussles with FA. Don’t get me wrong, there’s enough players on your server that are giving really good fights, so I’m happy about that. There’s also enough players on your server that won’t even fight us unless we’re already busy with FA that it’s becoming tiresome. There truly isn’t another server out there that plays like this while their map still is wholly belonging to the third party in that situation.

Well if Mags wasn’t being a bunch of backstabbing losers when Ebay tried to help you out Saturday Morning then Ebay prolly wouldn’t be running dirty tactics. But expect your enemy to do as you do right?

I don’t have a problem with your post, and I’m not at all filled with rage. This is simply an honest opinion. Imagine hotjoining sPvP, killing some guy, standing on a point, and then getting yelled at by all the other players for “Trolling” because they were trading kills for gladiator titles.

People get disciplined for that behavior.

This is essentially the same thing. You’re rigging for achievements, and disrupting play for people that actually want to play the game.

Honestly you won’t upset me. What you’re accusing me of is a clear violation of the ToS so please do report me if this is how you feel.

I have started to notice that more and more people are turning constructive posts into rage filled off topic railings about how either the OP has been cheating and deserves to be banned or that it just isn’t fair that the OP came up with other ways to enjoy the game. This turns even the most helpful thing’s into ignored refuse because people start to avoid these threads and thus the community falls apart.

On the other hand I have noticed that players are starting to pull together more in game looking for solutions to difficult problems and working as a team to overcome the challenges they face. Which is absolutely thrilling. People asking if anyone needs help and being constructive brings those participating closer together and the community grows.

Am I going crazy or have things really gotten this bad on the Forums and Improved that much in game?

I really hope you got your achievements using my advice. Crab Toss can be a lot of fun if you go about it from a different angle then people try too.

As a thief I will honestly say that Signet’s and Trait speed boosts do not work. Trust me I tried them before I went a different path.

Today I set out to not only get my Crab Tosser Achievement but kinda made it my personal goal to make sure everyone who entered my Crab Toss Instance got it as well. Talking with the other players I set up a queue system and allowed everyone to get theirs. At one point my Instance was completely empty and I got mine but I stayed and helped others complete it as well. I have seen a lot of people on the forums and in game complaining about how difficult it is and I agree people get a bit to competitive but stick it out and pull together as a community and it becomes easier. Just ask the 40 people who got their Crab Toss Champion title with me today.

Tips and Tricks:
Be polite and use Say chat.
Don’t feed the trolls
Some people don’t want to participate don’t yell or get upset let them do it and they will leave
If you don’t leave after the match your group stays together
Communication is key
Don’t talk down to other players
Lastly Make a Queue and stick to it as best as possible it gets really fun after a while 5 people with fishing poles going after each other while the crab carrier gets their win is actually really fun and Plank Wars are a blast.
Everyone in your group has their win? Don’t leave yet. Play Hot potato with the Crab for Crab Grab and Carry points.

I hope this helps everyone in the community enjoy Crab Toss a little more.

There is something wrong with Claw Island even with a wire connection I constantly am lagging and getting disconnected with in the instance.

Please remember that the Norn have different Moralities and Ethics than we in the real world do then again we all make mistakes don’t be so judgy mcjudgen-pants over this until everything is finished. Her having a son under these circumstances makes her seem more “human” and less legendary.

Started out in the Beta with a large group of friends from Guild Wars sadly that group has dwindled to none as they didn’t like the way the game played. I on the other hand have enjoyed it but found it hard to play. Feel free to contact me in game or on here.
