@Wesley Yes sir, that is why I apologized.
@Chazua Yes I agree, its the system’s fault.
I apologize, but it came across as what I said earlier, partying up with an emerald to lower your MMR. But you wouldn’t do that at all, you were simply playing with a friend.
I ran into Kaypud (Diamond) and Zoose (Emerald) earlier in a 5 man premade, I am sure he was playing with his friend as well who just happens to be emerald and on his alt account.
OP (Master Saitama), you should be the last person complaining about losing pips. I have not yet seen more severe abuse of the system / balance since leagues were launched.
How dare you ask for 3 pips when you yourself have the audacity to group up as a 5 man party consisting of 3 diamonds, 1 ruby and and 1 EMERALD. On top of that, you were running 2 mesmers and 3 revenants.
Lets not beat around the bush, we all know you have that emerald to lower your MMR. Hope you feel good about making it to legendary while farming solo queue players for two weeks straight using the cheesiest comp possible.
Next time you post here regarding a flaw in the system, please take one look in the mirror.
Hi, I can give you some tips and tricks plus show you a couple things in game. Just message me whenever you see me on. Cheers =)
The only time I AFK or quit is if I see my teammates ignoring team chat and just playing like idiots. At that point, they don’t even deserve a win.
Also, it is very discouraging to play when so many players are running op condi builds, feel like just giving up at times.
I’m pretty sure they factor in which class you play. It is generally expected that you should pick up a new class after your first one much faster than if you just started. Back when I was first learning all the classes, I would go practice on the training dummies till I had several rotations. Going in head first is gonna take way longer than if you just be patient and learn all the skills well. You need to know what the skills do before you learn when to use them.
It was confirmed by a dev couple days ago that the current matchmaking system does not take into account the class you play, as you can switch your class once the game has started.
Anyways, I completely agree with this post. It is extremely annoying and discouraging to learn a new class for me as I keep on getting paired up with players who I see on regular basis when I’m on my main, and who have been playing one class/spec for god knows how long.
Good video!
A lot of nice tips for new players!
I’m having huge issues as well… sent in a support ticket with their diagnostics requests, so we’ll see..
Let us know what they say. If I have to guess, I think their servers cant handle the surge in population due to the game going F2P.
Yeah, I have been experiencing this for the last couple days as well. Almost always disconnects while zoning, going from one map/instance to another. Really frustrating.

I want to make a new e-mail just for GW2, but I have heard that as for now, you cannot change your e-mail address. Can someone confirm if this is true or not. What should i do? My passwords for my email and GW2 are obviously different. I have scanned my comp for any viruses / keyloggers it might have and nothing so far. I am kind of getting worried because its only been 2 weeks or so since i bought this game and this kind of stuff is already happening.
Hello everyone, I have decided to buy a new PC just for Guild Wars 2. I want to be able to play at atleast 45 FPS. Ofcourse, my target is 50-60 FPS. I need your feedback on the the processor and the GPU that I have chosen.
I have decided to go with Intel i5 3570K which comes at 3.4 GHz out of the box. I will overclock it to 4.0GHz if needed. I have heard a few people say that GW2 is very heavily dependent on the CPU. Can someone please confirm i this is true or not. On top of that, is an i5 running at 3.4 GHz enough ? Or do I ABSOLUTELY HAVE to go with an i7 for good performance?
As for the GPU, I have Nvidia GTX 660TI in mind. But again, what is you opinion on nVidia vs AMD Radeon for the purpose of THIS GAME.
Tell me what you guys think. Your feedback is appreciated. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Once again, thank you.
