It’s funny how when JQ is doing well, all of a sudden, the forum posts are full of JQ people. While, SBI is so quiet. Not that its anything strange about that, just an interesting observation. Btw, where is the outspoken Covergirl. I hope she/he didnt transfer out of SBI. Lol, of course she/he didnt, she/he loves SBI too much for that. And Ipea can you please not stir crap up, just post evidence of exploits and move on. Anyways, its still early in the week, no cause for celebration yet but well done on JQ for winning the New Year Battle.

The one week you came to Tier 1 was really fun for everyone, because I saw a lot of fighting spirit.

I think JQ has the potential to win Tier 1 if a number of things happen.
1. SoS stops stacking numbers
2. JQ oceanic and EU time coverage is increased
3. There are no PvE events in the WvW Week.

1 will probably not happen for a long time. SoS is solid when it comes to fielding numbers.
JQ doesn’t lack Oceanic imo. We actually lack NA primetime players.

All servers get to tier 1 and number 1, take a screenshot of it, realize THAT screenshot was the whole prize of being #1 in Tier 1 and quit.

JQ is so far the only server that stood since release in Tier 1, I don’t know why are we still holding there.

Have you guys not fallen to tier 2 at all? It’s been so long I can’t remember.

They’ve absolutely fallen to tier 2 for at least one week, perhaps two.

I can’t remember if SBI has fallen to tier 2 more recently than JQ. We might have also had one week, then right back.

JQ went to tier 2 during “week 39” based on what Mos has recorded. That was the week we played against Crystal Desert and Dragonbrand, and it was a complete rollover. This was just before HoD’s breakdown, and the following weeks was when JQ reached #1 spot.

SBI went down to tier 2 for “week 41”, similar results were had against IoJ and BG.

In short, both servers have been in T1 for quite a while, with the one odd vacation week in T2.

I feel like I could just drag a zerg to the presents then let them kill themselves on those princess dolls.

So I open a box in WvW and these things have Protection, Fury, Regeneration, and 18 stacks of might.

And they apply confusion and hit like trucks.

Well i tried again just minutes ago and the result was the same : 0 SCORE.

And i realized that i’m not alone.So i hope Anet NEVER makes mini-games like this anymore.

You might want to realize that the game isn’t catered specifically to you. Just because you’re unable to hit some keys on proper timing doesn’t mean it’s flawed.

You only need to complete songs and hit notes for the achievement. You don’t have to be perfect.

That said, I myself am really bad at games like guitar hero, but this one is quite fun.

I think everyone here is kinda burned out from that Friday push. We weren’t able to pass SoS in score, but it was a ridiculous amount of fun for everyone.

Discussion is welcome because last week the score topic died since not enough scores were submitted. I’m sure plenty of people would like to see updates on how their server is doing during the week.

This is a prime example of why JQ loses week after week. You got 15 people camping the jumping puzzle. What a waste of both brains and manpower.

Eh, not like EB ever has a queue for us. We don’t usually get to field full numbers even if we wanted to.

But good to know that SoS has diligent scouts in the puzzle. :P

No thanks, I’ve had my share of farming Risen and I’d rather not have to kill more Risen in WvW.

Ah, so you guys were the ones setting up all that siege. I was on SM trebbing WC and had to take out like 4-5 trebs during that time, then the SoS zerg finally gathered up to counter-treb me.

I don’t see why discussion and score have to be in separate topics. It’ll only bump down the score thread since people don’t bother updating it.

Edit: I take that back, other topic is just full of drama and accusations. None of that needed here.

As for the 2v1… that doesn’t happen on our server, and anything that appears to do that is mere coincidence. We dealt with being the 1 when we were in T1 and it was incredibly pathetic. JQ prefered camping our spawn over taking things that had walls down and they could just walk in, and SBI was hardly any different, they just had the numbers to walk in and take JQs stuff, but they still prefered camping us. EBG was never flipped. I’ve played everyday for these past 3-4 weeks and haven’t seen any double teaming compared to that. If you (SoR) really think you can beat Blackgate, you’re going to absolutely LOVE being in T1….

Just wanted to say, 10/10 would spawn camp again.

I like portal bombs, I think it’s a really nice concept for breaking stalemates.

At the same time, I find it hilarious that everyone I run with is so used to certain SoS groups using them that we recognize and spot them so fast that it doesn’t even work so well.

As long as you’re prepared and properly communicating, they can be handled easily. Especially since turtling no longer works, so stacking in a ball is not always the greatest idea in some cases.

JQ did you guys get an influx of players? I’ve noticed a drastic difference in playstyle and the amount of coverage that you guys have over the past week.

Just a little change-up in our strategy. No major transfers this week besides one oceanic guild.

Eh, unless BG wins by a large margin and we lose by a large margin, we’re likely going to stay in T1 for another week or two.

I thought it was karma gear? There are karma vendors in the WvW zones.

I had an exotic greatsword drop last week off a veteran guard at Overlook. Pity it wasn’t a Dusk/Dawn, but still kind of cool nonetheless.

I have a bad habit of rushing to loot bags even if they’re in the middle of the enemy forces.

Walked by Hills on SoS BL today and I lol’d at our setup. Hopefully it makes some nice impressions.

I agree that something should be done, yes. Maybe instead of making tiers of 3 all the time, take the first 3 out of rank 1, 2, 3 and 4, then take the next 3 out of the one that isn’t in that group and then two from ranks 5, 6 & 7 and so on.

Dude, I’d much rather have somewhat balanced and stale matchups rather than dynamic matchups where one server just ends up crushing by 300k points. There is a pretty big difference between some of the tiers of servers.

As an EB regular, I didn’t see much PRX this week. Can’t really say they were “assigned to duty” there.

For that number of players I just jump in head first to dagger storm, then let whoever’s behind me clean up and res my body if I don’t make it out.

You guys haven’t seen some T1 fights yet.

I’d just like to point out that this would be an excellent thing to put on the Wiki, considering we’d be able to have a better collaborate effort.

I was there earlier in the week one morning when SOS and SBI took everything we had in EB at the same time. Outmanned officially, over powered and barely holding the main keep.

SOS golem rushed our water level gate. It took the effort of every JQ in EB manning siege, repairing the gate and fighting on the walls to hold back SOS, then SBI storms in literally a second after SOS. We had SOS and SBI bodies all over our keep.

People will always take advantage of others misfortune. SOS was not in anyway out to help us, they just used us to try and get SBI keep for themselves. We took it from SOS.

Dude, I remember this. I panicked and chucked down 3 ballistas and a catapult behind the inner gate when I saw the golems busting through water gate. And inner gate was literally at 0.1% HP like three times that fight. Then someone was like “SBI on inner” after we wiped SoS’s golems and I was like

I’m also surprised that only one of the ballistas have despawned so far. They’ve been sitting there gathering dust for the last 3 days.

Been happening to me too. A few towers, a few keeps, and even once when taking Stonemist. Every single time I was in the circle too.

I’m sure it’s just a bug somewhere.
