Feelings Aren’t Required [FEAR] is currently open on recruitment to all time zones. We are a Hardcore WvW guild who plays everyday and field a lot during our prime time, we also have smaller squads playing at all other hours of the day. You may have heard of us already, we have made a strong name for ourselves within only a few months.

We are 160 Active strong, and growing more everyday. Our primetime on weekends is usually from 6pm EST till 2-3am EST or later, and on weekdays around 7pm EST till 1-2am EST normally. We also have a few EU players and a few more Oceanic/SEA players.

As stated above, we are a Hardcore WvW guild, so if you are looking for something to play with in WvW once in a blue moon this won’t be the guild for you. We do not discourage people from representing another guild, we only ask you are active and represent FEAR only in WvW, especially during our primetime.

We run multiple strategies and are very fast at adapting to our enemy. We theory craft and build new strategies based off different situations. We have multiple, capable commanders, and are improving everyone every day.

To the folks who rallied with [Fear] in EB last night and helped with the golem rushes, thank you. I think it was a good example of how even people who aren’t in voice chat and not normally participating in organized WvW can still step it up and work with the server for a common goal.

The last rush on the wrong keep was also an excellent example of why dropping ports and controlling golems is not for the tired or drunk!

Wanted to second that, all the folks that helped and stayed rallied on me for the golems did an amazing job. We have many good players even when not in a big guild ad we proved last night on EB

we in FEAR had a lot of fun pushing back on JQ there, good fights all around.

For SoS and SoR to truly take on JQ they would have to do it during the weekend also to get a big points lead.

If it stays close during the weekend then all JQ has to do is cherry pick points from whichever server is lightest in each map to come from behind. That is basically what happened at the start of this week. Monday they took points from SoS and Tuesday they took points from SoR to catch up. It doesn’t matter if people try to 2v1 them during off hours because there will always be a weaker server they can get tons a points from.

This is exactly what happened this week, except JQ was only down about 15k or so after the weekend. Then at some point SOS and SOR seemed to stop showing up to WvW and now JQ is way ahead.

I can speak for FEAR at least when i say we hit SoS JUST as much during the weekend as we did JQ

I love….LOVEEEEE….hearing all about Indo….because he came from JQ until he got his wittle feewings hurt and took his whole guild and left. So yes, Indo knows JQ pretty well, but a lot has changed since he left. Don’t get me wrong…I use to like running around with him and his guild in the early days/weeks after GW2 launch. But that dude takes this GAME wayyyyyy too seriously (not to say we don’t have “commanders” on JQ who sleep deprive themselves thinking they are saving the honor and pride of some mythical land by taking one more tower or supply camp to eek out a win or “near win” for the week only to do it all again after reset. …aka. “get-a-lifers”). Miss you Indo!

haha yeah we had guildies waiting over 5-6 Hours in qeue last night at reset, had a qeue on all 4 maps within a couple seconds of reset :P it was pretty kitten /p>

hopefully there’s some nice fixes for all these problems in the Feb patch now that were in Feb

SoR/SoS/JQ sould all meet at a bar and lets drink our night away from waiting in these qeues

lol I have to admit the qeues are insane, we literally got half or less than 50% of FEAR inside JQ BL within literally 5 seconds XD never seen that crazy of a qeue

Would also be nice if the game flashed when you have it minimized on ur toolbar at bottom when the qeue pops up so you can easily browse the internet or something while waiting

Last i checked throughout warfare in history you have needed lots of units to take oput major objectives, until recently because of such crazy tactical warheads and stuff

Obviously this isn’t even remotely close to real life, but the entire point of WvW is large scale battles…just cuz people zerg doesn’t mean it’s just mindless, there are tons of guilds out there who field 20+ which most seem to consider a “zerg” but each and every one of them is very tactically smart, knows how to play well, how to work on gaining the lead, etc

It’s just dumb to assume Zerging has 0 purpose in WvW and it ALL needs to go to small man teams. I have personally lead small teams in doing stuff large zergs may not have been able to so they are perfectly viable

I have also lead larger teams that smaller teams could not have done.

It’s warfare, numbers matter in war just as tactical thinking and smart strategy counts also. Scouts and small man teams r JUST as viable if not a majorly important part of winning a match up.

I still noted teams attempting to utilize culling to their advantage after the patch went through. This saddened the SF team

Speaking of which, about 2-3 hours after the patch in T2 WvW, the GSCH guild had a massive culling portal bomb attempt and immediately failed.

You should have seen all the red downed arrows. It was amazing.

Props to GSCH for failing so hard, I didn’t think it was possible to be that reliant on exploiting a buggy mechanic.

1st you realize this is the t1 thread right? second if you do know that talk about being really pathetic and having to flame them for it on a different thread, and 3rd, wow you just make your server look pathetic for flaming a guild that is always so nice and awesome to everybody.

Heck, FEAR posted a funny time in EB where we enjoyed fighting SBI and they come back saying we shouldnt be bragging and smack talk us

Having a great night in EB, TC have a 60+ group running around or so it seems. They are proving to be a struggle to fight but we enjoy the fights all the same.

SBI despite having a lack of people in EB you managed to fortify Mendon’s and cause us problems at speldan supply camp and then one of our guys had a moment of pure brilliance, I took a few screen shots to help me tell the story.

Screen shot one shows how we pulled the Champion spirit into the camp to occupy the SBI zerg while we then proceeded to skirt around them all (shown in Screen shot two) undetected and drop siege on Mendon’s gate, we got it down to 20% before some of the SBI zerg found us.

We then face smashed the gate down to 0 and had a great fight for the keep lord room however in the end we managed to emerge victorious (shown in Screen shot three).

Lol it was so epic, very fun time there for all us in FEAR

There are plenty of “zergs” that are extremely well coordinated and not just mindless, when FEAR runs with 30-40-50 or more people on the field, there is serious coordination with things we do, balancing between units, peoples specialities used to our advantage, specific reasons we do tthings etc.

when a Cds “zerg” is on the map its the same thing for them just as is for choo etc, the only mindless zergs are usually just aa ton of random people following a commander, and even then i have seen some amazing groups of different people in 1 big unit do some crazy stuff..theres a time and place to call mindless zergs and a time for zergs. Just saying, dont label everything as just some stupid zerg and is pointless other tthan numbers.
