Well, it’s called “world” completion for a reason. World vs. World is part of the whole thing. Honestly, I think Obby Sanctum, and dungeons should be included as well.
I prefer a non-casual guild. I’ve had a lot of problems with guilds who don’t want to do anything, or people who just don’t care about new members.
I’d like a guild who loves to do map completion, sPvP, WvW, dungeons, fractals, guild missions weekly, and living story. Not having a 100% rep requirement would be nice, but isn’t necessary.
I refuse to do any voice communication (TS, Vent, etc.)… Personal reasons.
Side-Note: Also looking for a good dungeon running daily group.

It’s been said before on a site the Developers use, that it was an exploit. I just need a confirmation. Also, FGS doesn’t just hurt because of the charge, the fire on the ground stacks instensely. You’d be doing an abnormal amount of damage, almost enough to one-shot champions, or even 2-3 shot dungeon bosses.
The Rules of Conduct clearly state the following: You will not exploit any bug in Guild Wars 2 and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug (bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits) either directly or through public posting, to any other user of Guild Wars 2.
Is the Fiery Greatsword(FGS) an exploit when used in dungeons to quickly kill bosses (I refuse to state how it’s done, but I’m sure Anet knows…)
I just don’t want to get banned for this. If it is a bannable offense, many dungeon runner groups will cease to exist. Stacking will get harder in many dungeons (including AC). This will change everything about my dungeon running experiences, since I know many teams including mine that uses this trick.
we are second place in the tournament, guaranteed. I got 4th place achievement and no rewards. Please fix!
Can anyone else confirm it’s a power supply issue? Or could it be something else?
new power supply? I just got my computer a few months ago, so that won’t be a problem.
EDIT: It won’t let me move the “power” slider —- only the memory and core clock…
I don’t know what the buttons are for so I’m definitely not messing with it.

With Gpuz —- It says my GPU is going from 0% load to 99% load without GW2 even being on. Just Chrome…
After a couple hours of guild wars 2 —-- it stayed mostly 99-100 load… I’m fairly certain that’s a REAL problem…

All of a sudden I get “stutters” which potentially freeze my screen for seconds at a time, or even just drop my FPS down to 1 or 2. This sometimes takes hours, and sometimes takes 30 minutes… To fix it, I have to “Quit to Desktop” And reload GW2.
This can happen at any time at all, whether it’s in WvW, or PvE…
I’ve lowered my settings, tried optimizing my graphics for performance, latest graphics drivers… I get 30FPS easily until this happens.

The Idea:
Locking onto a single individual (like a guild leader, or a friend’s party not of your own)
The Explanation:
As a 500 member guild who LOVES to do guild missions, we have a LOT of trouble going between maps. Why not make it 100% easier for all guilds to instantly travel to the correct map?!
Step 1: Lock to individual (like a guild leader)
Step 2: After locking, that individual moves to another map (ANY map they want of course…)
Step 2(1/2): When that individual moves, calculate how many people are locked to that individual. If there are too many locked than that map can currently fit, create another overflow or fit in another already made overflow that’ll allow all to travel.
Step 3: After travel, everyone who locked, may then travel to that map (walking, waypointing, whatever…) Automatically joining that person’s instance. AS IF EVERYONE WAS IN A PARTY… ONE GIANT PARTY… that would solve many issues pertaining to guilds and friends.
One issue isn’t solved however… the RPers, and the people who have no specific people to “lock”. Assuming there’s more than 20 people locked, it would be difficult fitting that guild into a map and still allowing fun for the friendless person hiding behind that rock over there.
Well, why not make it a HIGHER CAP. Yes, a higher cap for each instance. So what, it’ll cause easy kills for world bosses and whatever else that’s thrown into PvE…
The RPers still are left out in my well-thought out idea… But here’s a basic plan.
Ahh. Thank you. New to the forums and I didn’t know where to look…

okay. That doesn’t fix the problem with the skills having less duration than the tooltip says..
Moa lasts for 5 seconds – not 10… I timed it 25 times and got the same result within a few miliseconds (my reactionary speed would be applied here…)
Stealth lasts for 1 second, not 2 in downed mode…
pretty sure those are meant to be lengthy in duration…
I even have boon duration+5% (right now) from traits! What about that??
1) When you use stealth, why do monsters decide to wait and NOT move at all (or in circles around their current position) waiting until you un-stealth to attack you once more. There was another player, a clone, two phantasms, and a ton of NPCs around attacking it, so this made NO sense…
2) When using blink, the walking animation stops working 90% of the time. I use auto-run + blink + continue autorunning…
3) Some skills like stealth have 1 second less than intended times for each skill (if it’s 4 seconds duration, it only lasts about 3 and a quarter seconds… Pretty sure that needs a slight buff?…)
4) Not only does light armor make you extremely squishy, and no stealth helps you at all …. The only thing that can be used against ranged is dodging, feedback, and clones/phantasms. The only thing to be used against melee is dodging… kind of depressing don’t you think?
I honestly think the mesmer has more bugs than any class so far… It’s just not a fair playing-field for anyone when you have a mesmer. It makes mesmers not wanted unless they are being used for their portals or something. (least, that’s how i feel?)

Solution 1: Try another mouse.
If that doesn’t work…
Solution 2: Try another computer (like a library’s computer…). Even old OLD computers can run this game without too much of a problem… (i had a computer running XP playing this game with a flat 8fps…)
Solution 3: If another computer DOES NOT DO IT (or if you have no access to another computer…) Make sure your game is FULL SCREEN, and not windowed border. (Just to test it…). If it minimizes your game, you need to figure out what other process on your computer is doing it and it’s obviously not GW2.
Solution 4: If it doesn’t minimize and mouse loses focus, it’s an internal problem with your .dat file, and you may need to re-download it.
Solution 5: If none of these work, I have no more help for you…
Disclaimer: Do each solution in ORDER. DO NOT SKIP!
This heart quest can also be done with the sword portion on the far left of the events.
However, not a game-breaking bug… still a bug nevertheless!
Bug: Confirmed.
Map: Queensdale
NPC: Shield Drill Sergeant..
Bug: He’s attacks once when you enter the ring. He stops moving after that. I’ve tested over a few days… Can only participate in one block for heart quest!
Edit: Server: Devona’s Rest
YES! I finally did it!
I finished the Aetherblade ship/steampunk jumping puzzle just northwest of lion’s arch! woooo!
Only took 3 hours, but hey!!! XD

Another thing to ask… can GW2 run off 2.0 USB Flash Drive?

The reason it wasn’t working was because i never Copy+Pasta’d the up-to-date version. I copied the previous version onto my flash drive, went to college, and it was already updated be ArenaNet before I could play. I just need to keep the game up-to-date. Good to know.
Thank you everyone! Just clicking the .exe works (AFTER updating it!)
EDIT: Yes, I’m using NTFS because the FAT32 can’t transfer more than 4GB… (that sucks horribly… )… The only loss of NTFS is if you’re not using windows computers…. which 99% of all the computer I come into contact with, is windows. Bahhahaa.

Another “To add:”…. It’s saying my files are archived on my flash drive now… is that bad? XD

I’ll try the fresh install …. That’ll take a really long time though :/
Also: The read-only flag keeps appearing after I apply it to the entire GW2 folder… how do i permanently get rid of read-only?

I have done that. It keeps re-downloading… Does the files need to be read-only (or un read-only)… What other things do I need to look at to prevent the re-downloading and just playing of the game?

To Add: I Don’t mind just installing the files onto a computer to play… That’s not the problem. having to re-download for every computer I use is a HUGE problem… (at my college, they like to reset the hard drive every now and then, so THAT will be painful…)

Why is it re-downloading the files after I copy+paste it over?… It keeps loading the launcher and saying I need to re-download everything…

I’m not anywhere near new to technology, as I am majoring in Computer Science at College right now. However, one thing I never learned was playing games straight from the flash drive (without having to install them to the PC I was playing on…). How can I manage to play straight from the flash drive? (It’s a 3.0 USB 32GB Flash Drive, by the way..)
