Who Else Wants to Join a Guild That Has a Super Reputation, Can Hang With The Best, Yet Treats its Members Like Family?

The Order of the Silver Hand (TOSH) is a thirteen year old guild that killed its first mob together on November 2nd, 1999 in Asheron’s Call… and have created long-time friendships in many games since!

In Asheron’s Call we grew to be one of the most active guilds in the game, and have been in dozens of games since. The “Silver Hand” name is recognized and well known among many long-time gamers, and has allied and fought alongside some of the biggest and best known clans and guilds in the MMORPG genre.

We’re looking for new family members for both PvE and PvP to join our tanks in GW2!

If you’ve joined guilds before that were active for a few weeks, then slowly disappeared, or you logged on one day to find yourself “guildless” and your guild no longer in the game, you’ll be happy to know that there’s a good chance that we’ll outlive most of the other guilds on the server! We know this from experience, we’re here for the long term, not a flash in the pan.

We value fun and friendship over “winning at all costs” and although we have some extremely hardcore players and members, (and some very part time as well!) we enjoy the journey to end-game as much as the destination….

…we’re looking for casual pve players who want to work together to traverse the worlds of GW2, as well as those that lean towards pvp to help capture world pvp targets. In addition, for those who dare, we’re looking for a more competitive group to compete on a higher level and round out a team or two in the ranked pvp brackets. (our founder was on a team that held the #1 spot in GW1 for a period of time)

Although structured and always thinking about guild events and activities, we are non-military, and have very few rules besides “have fun”, and “don’t make the guild look bad”.

We’re a mature group, most of our members usually average from 25-40 years of age, (even though some members have socks that are 25 years old) but we welcome players of all ages and all levels. We don’t judge people by age, but by actions… and expect all members to do the same. We try to keep our chats as clean as possible, but realize that sometimes the passion of the moment can overwhelm us…

We expect to be a medium sized guild, with players focusing on all aspects of the game. To join us, we won’t expect you to be interviewed by 11 members, send a blood sample, and write a 46 page application backwards in Gaelic to be accepted. We’ll assume you’re a “keeper”, and boot you later if not, lol.

After proving ones self character-wise, we hope to have new members take responsibility within the guild as well, IF that’s something you’re interested in. Leaders are welcome!

TOSH is proud to have been with EB since the betas, and we’ll be here after free server transfers are over.

Also, for all the people claiming you know what’s going on command wise for EB, please remember that most of the planning goes on in the command forums which is only accessible to established guilds. Has anyone heard anything recently about expanded guild features? We completed all the guild upgrades awhile ago, and now we just have massive amounts of influence. Be nice to know what was coming next!

I know there was talk originally that there would eventually be some massive guild upgrades.

switch teams feature is I think under the “battle” menu. Press B once you get into the game, and the person on the team with more players can switch.

If you really want to guarantee it, you should just join a guild that does sPvP.

You won’t be able to play together for the snowball game, but if you want to play sPvP together, do “tournaments” instead of the random games. also, once you’re in the random games you can switch sides.

When my group went into the grove instance, we were asked to join “level 2”. Does anyone know what happened to level 1?

The Ehmry Bay Community is looking for some EU/Oceanic/Asian/overnight guilds for WvW!

What we have isn’t an alliance of guilds. It’s a community of guilds. We have one of the strongest, most outgoing communities in GW2 right now and we’ve been bringing in more and more guilds lately who desire the same. We have multiple guilds of various sizes (We are mostly small to medium sized guilds with 25 – 150 people per guild) along with some of the best Commanders out there who are constantly working together on strategies and tactics, even when we’re split between 4 different maps.

We have an entire website dedicated to our server’s community as well as a public 250-slot Teamspeak server that we not only use for WvW communications, but is also there to be used for any of our guilds main voice comm’s. We also keep a list of all registered guilds and leaders/commanders on our website so you know who to contact for tactical coordination.

Ehmry Bay is looking for not only guilds who desire a strong community base in their gaming experience, but we’re looking for guilds that can keep our borderlands clean and clear during those odd hours of the night. (generally 01:00 to 15:00 US Pacific Standard Time). We’re looking for guilds that don’t just stop because we’re up in points against the other servers, but guilds like ours that keep fighting, because after all, that’s the fun of WvW. You don’t just stomp them into ground. You stomp them in 6 feet under and then build your foundation on their graves. Epic battle, epic fun.

What WeLoveKanjimari said. I don’t have a problem with this release time if there’s a problem with the patch- I get it, I’m happy to wait.

But I hope A-Net isn’t sitting around waiting to release it 11:59 pacific, because I’m going to be seriously ticked. Most of my guild already gave up and left, which takes all the fun out of it.

Folks, things don’t show up in the discovery screen if there’s nothing left to discover with them.
