Got a company laptop last year and installed the game for ‘lost’ hours when I am on a business trip. Playing and especially fps largely depend on your (graphic) settings and your ic. Living in the Netherlands I played the game on holiday in Indonesia. Did not have problems. On some occasions I had some lag due to bad ic. At home I never have problems. Think the specs of an ordinary laptop nowadays are such that you can play the game very well. Only thing is the small screen when you are used to an 24 inch or so! Hope this will help you.

Don’t rush things Anet! As stated above. The website was full of bugs yesterday evening. Also many issues (bugs, lag, crashes) with Path End!

I have exactly the opposite. read all 8 pages but it won’t give me the 8th and therefore I won’t get the achievement. Checked them all again but can not read them anymore. Is it bugged so i can not finish this?

thx mate. Strange, first few days it just gave the commander tag to form a squad. Now it is as you describe with a mentor tag AND a squad tag as commander. Thx anyway!!

I recently bought the commander’s compendium and used it to get the commander ability. Now when I login I only have the mentor ability. What is going on here? i didn’t pay 300 gold just for nothing…….

Finally managed to do this quest. After restarting it I got to the same point with the same result. The game obviously halted so I went around and killed the remaining foes, got to the first crew and later returned to the area within the ruin. Again nothing happend. ONLY after I climbed the wall at the back – which I suppose is not a normal action – suddenly four undead spawned and the quest continued so i could finish it.

Thx for the reply but I stayed several minutes also with my buddy considering all possibilities to continue. he told me that he encountered the other known bugs of this quest in the past but not this one.

I am encountering a bug during this quest I did not have before on previous characters and also has not been described on the web. At a certain moment you have to ‘search the area for survivors’. First area is at the ruin outside the caves. When I get here it won’t update, i can not interact with the dead bodies, no undead spawn anymore. Traherne and agent Zrii are still alive so that is not the issue. Went into the cave to the first team but nothing happens anymore (they only mention the attack you have to repel there) . Did this twice, the second time with a guildy but with the same result. I know how this quest works because I did it many times but never encountered this.
Char is a level 71 engineer. Any clue?

Same prob with my lvl 44 Norn mesmer’s personal storyline where I have to defeat this charr char Ajax and the next one where I have to find a woonded grawl shaman
